Booked for wedding anniversary, somewhere off the beaten track, this is exactly what we got. No traffic or any other noises except for the resident wildlife. This was the best spot within 60 minutes of Melbourne that we have experienced. The town of Healesville has a lot to offer as well-plenty of cafes, wineries & distillery all within 10 mins. Will definitely be going back!

Intensive Care Unit: because that's exactly how we felt being able to totally relax, rest & recharge in this wonderful hidden away paradise for 2 nights. De Sunset certainly surpassed our expectations with numerous, thoughtful little touches such as throw rug for snuggling on the large couch, fresh candles throughout & even rose petals on the super comfy bed. Breakfast supplies were certainly adequate & appreciated - affording us the opportunity to cook & enjoy in private when it suited us...even in our loungewear ;) Many great wineries around - great chance to do a little tasting, pick up a bottle, visit the chocolate factory (great ice-cream too) Order some Thai takeaway, take in the amazing sunset from your private balcony & enjoy a spa in a tub that really is built for 2.. Sensational bed, great bathroom with large shower & very well appointed & presented throughout. Wonderfully connecting in every way. We will be back - hopefully in winter to make use of the fireplace too. Dieter greeted us, ensured we had everything we needed & then left us to enjoy it all in private.... which to Us is just perfect.

It was a great glamping experience! The bed was so comfy, the toilet/bathroom (although not ensuite) was clean and I was woken up by the chirping of a flock of white parrots in the morning. It was very chilly the night I stayed so it could have been better if there were heater available in the tent but I supposed it could be for safety reason why there was none. Anyway, the duvet provided was good enough to keep us warm throughout the night.

It was our best stay ever. The owner Tony came to check us in together with his two friendly dogs. My kids immediately felt in love with the dogs and the house surrounding. All of us like the lavender farm very much. Every thing is prepared very meticulously. The breakfast item like bacon and egg etc and a welcome cake was a great treat! We would love to go back again one day. Thank you Tony and Jacky for making our stay so wonderful and comfortable! Cheers! :-)
