It's not always you find a hostel with curtain beds, 2x power outlets, light, shelf, hangers and large, conveniently located locker under the bed. It's not always you find a well thought out of and clever interior with an inviting and fun common area, well equipped kitchen and satisfactory bathrooms. Everything clean. It's not always you find a hostel with a top notch, intelligent staff and a great clientele. This is where the cool kids, of all ages, go. It's not always you find a hostel that performs so well, and I say this as someone who went to a hostel or two in my day. There's nothing to really think about. For the price, it's probably one of the best places you can stay during your time in Baku. Well done!

I love their staff, they arevery friendly and helpful... Mis Sakina and Mr Elsan, you are so good and kind.. The breakfast was great and enough ... we had juice, tea, coffe, sweets and fruit along the day. They are so good with our children. Location is fantastic and close to bus station and metro station. The rooms and hostel were clean.. If I come back to Baku again I will go to their hostel.

My son and I had our first short visit to Baku which we enjoyed enormously. Our flight out with Wizz Air meant we needed to check in at about 0430. We therefore needed somewhere near the airport. The villa was absolutely perfect for our needs. Rabhana ; who is a real gentleman, took us himself to the airport at a very reasonable price . We were on the top floor which has cooking facilities. We did not have breakfast which was available due to the early hour. Other meals can be ordered from a menu. There is a small cafe and shop just around the corner. It took just over 10 mins to get to the airport. He also can pick you up. Super host. The property is very clean . We were on the top floor which has 3 double bedrooms. The bathroom is one floor down which some might find awkward. On that floor are larger bedrooms. Thank you Hasanovs villa; a good ending to our stay.

I stayed at this hotel on two separate reservations, separated by a trip to Armenia in-between them. Both times, everything was great. The breakfast buffet is simple but what's there is really good. The room was clean and the staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The "worst" (and it wasn't really all that bad) thing was the location, but even that wasn't bad. You can walk to the cool places in about half an hour, and a taxi (which the front desk will request for you) was only basically a couple of euros to go to the old town area or the waterfront. Definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

It wasn't until I saw other mid-range to lower-end hotels in Baku that I came to appreciate the Safran Hotel. Windows were drafty, some tiles in the bathroom were cracked, and breakfast buffet had no fresh fruit, but overall the Safran delivered: good-sized rooms, comfortable mattress, squeaky clean room, bathroom and common areas, friendly staff eager to help (the sourly breakfast waiter aside), large in-room safe. The location is in a quiet side street but walking distance from Ganclik metro (15 to 20 minutes). For that price I will certainly come again.

I really enjoyed my stay in Baku. Hotel is about 5 Min walk from the metro. every day it became shorter as you will find shortcuts. Staff were friendly and I appreciated the fact that they tried to communicate in English. Definitely stay here again. The room is very old - needs a serious revamp. carpets are not great as it has hair all over but one could see that it was clean. Room was facing the street but it was not noisy. All in all Well Done. See you again.

This review is ling dueee! i had a good stay in the City Walls hotel, room was huge!!! i got a king bed! great! great view from the breakfast room. They offer airport transfer (i had visa issues and the driver waited for me about an hour but then i had to wait for him to do shopping.. at midnight! i dont complain, it was actually funny and i appreciate the wait pkus he carried my bag all the way to the hotel! (not all cars can get inside) I sent clothes for laundry and the reception guy (always supernice!!) had to wake up at 4am to receive it (thank u) as I was leaving early. Hotel is within the walls close to a coffee shop famous for a russian movie??. the room was not clean during my stay (3-4 nights) but I dont mind. i would recommend

I stayed at The East Legend Panorama Hotel on my last day in Baku. It is an small upscale property located in a quiet neighborhood away from the city center but is a short walk to the Boulevard. The front desk staff, Farida and Ayden, were very friendly and helpful. The check in and check out process was straightforward and swift, and the staff are alert to serve. They were able to assist in changing my U.S. dollar bills to manats which saved me the time and trouble of going to the bank. For late check out I only paid half of the daily rate which is not possible in other premium hotels. They also printed some documents for me free of charge. I am impressed to find excellent customer service with a personal touch. The room was big enough to move around freely. It comes with a balcony facing the street and overlooking the Caspian Sea. The bed is smaller than standard but it was ok. The bedroom was immaculately clean just like the toilet and bathroom. The linens were fragrant. The LED TV was hardly used because all programs came only in Azeri and Russian. There is an outdoor pool, a sauna, and gym equipped with functional machines, also a table tennis and some boxing gloves which means you will never run out of activity should you decide to just stay inside the hotel. The buffet breakfast is served at the Panorama Restaurant which gives an excellent view of the Caspian Sea and the boulevard. There was a decent selection of food and drinks at the buffet table. Fresh fruits, cereals, bread, pastries and cookies. The lady assigned at the restaurant was alert in refilling the stocks. I think her name is Natasya. Outside the hotel there is a 24/7 money changer shop, stores, supermarts, and a good number of local restaurants. If ever I plan another trip to Baku I will definitely stay once again at the East Legend Panorama Hotel. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a hassle-free holiday and excellent value for money.

The hotel is in the old building which is understandable. There is no lift as mentioned in the Agoda page but the location is very good, it is close to most of the historical landmarks in Baku by walking distance. The staff is very welcoming and helpful most especially Ilham from the reception. He writes for us the local dishes that we need to try and which restaurant to go, decent but not pricey. The breakfast lady is nice also.

Highly recommended. Both Azar and Anar speak English well. Anar was very helpful in arranging a tour for us. He knew a lot of tour operators who can take us to places. He was monitoring our tour so we knew that we were safe. Azar was also very helpful. He was well versed in English and advised the places we can visit and how to get there. He prepared a lovely breakfast for us and arranged our taxi services. Our room was big and spacious. The bathroom was large with a washing machine, dryer, shower and hot tub. From the balcony, you can see the Caspian Sea and the Flaming Towers.

It's an amazing hotel Mr Anar is really helpful and always welcoming with his smile, the rooms are good in size, clean and have all the required stuff available. The hotel is hardly 2 mins walk from nizami street and a super market as also nearby. The old area can be easily covered by walk from hotel. It's in the center for all the attractions. The breakfast is very good and you have lots of choice to have in breakfast. Overall I rate it 9 out of 10 a must if you are traveling with family or as a couple.

Booked HomeBridge as my stay in Baku as I expected the period I was there to be a packed period given the Europa Final being held there. Price was definitely the reason for booking. Took awhile to get there and there are no public transport in but the apartment does arrange shuttle at specific times which helps. Room was good enough and you get access to the pool and gym. Breakfast is available as well. Overall, the not too bad a stay.

I am not usually one who writes recommendations about hotel but the Teatro Boutique Hotel in Baku has to be the exception, Searching he various Web Sites Agoda flashed up the Teatro - a Cosy Boutique hotel with all the comfort of home except for the dog wanting a walk and the wife wanting to go shopping. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel and plan to return again in the New Year ( EU Project Mission). Rooms very comfortable, lovely clean bathrooms, Excellent Breakfast Feast and nice ambience in the Fifth Floor Restaurant. But more importantly good staff make a hotel and this is where the Teatro really exceeded 15 out of 10. They were the MOST HELPFUL and friendly staff in any hotel I have stayed. Although not right in the City Centre (where we were working the USD $5 per trip was worth it to be comfortable. Easy to get taxis including London style Black Cabs. Nothing too much for the Hotel Management & Staff. If you want Value for Money - Choose Teatro. If you want Comfort and a really lovely atmosphere choose Teatro. I'll Be Back... A/C is not working properly. It is just like a fan. Isolation of wall is terrible! I got shocked when I hear everything which is spoken in my neighbour’s room. I travel every month since 4 years and never experienced bad quality isolation like that before. Trust me it was terrible. Even their breath is hearable. Furniture is old. Breakfast is not good for 4 star hotel. There is no filtered coffee for example. Even 3 star hotels provide it in the breakfast. No fruit. Same meals have been served everyday. There is a bath tub in the room but the cap of it was missing. 2 times they gave wrong caps. It needed to go down 2 times. There was no laundry hanger in my room. When I asked, they provides 3 different pcs which seems like a garbage that other quests left behind. I totally got dissatisfied. They may be nice but management does nothing as I see. Terrible experience for 4 star hotel!
