We stayed in Bali for 10 days, and stayed in three different areas and hotels. Ayana is the best one. The price more expensive than others, but we thinking it's value for money. We do enjoy the time we spend in Ayana. Nice resturANT, Good breakfast, a lot of choices. THe rock bar just located in Ayana, so you don't have to wait. The staff in Ayana very nice, friendly, ...

Me and my friend booked for 2 nights in Astagina and another 1 night on our last day in Bali. Staffs were very hospitable especially the ones in the conceirge - Krisna, Sinta, and Bayu - they were very attentive to our requests and helped us in everyway possible to make our vacation wonderful. Upon check-in, we already informed them that we will be having our tour the ...

We stayed for 4 nights with just my mum and myself. The hotel does cater for families but was also fine for other travelers. We had no problems at all during our stay and the location is great... The pool area is nice but I have been to other Bali hotels that are nicer. Staff at checkout were a little rude speaking to each other for at least 5 minutes in Indonesian...

Best location in Kuta. Close to everything. The staff are friendly and helpfull. The room is standard but very clean and confortable. I've stayed in Kuta before and Hard Rock Hotel (HRH)was the first Hotel in Bali with a decent breakfast. But what really become highlighted in HRH, of course, is the Rock'n Roll atmosphere. The Center Stage is the best bar I ever went. I...

Tijili is such a gem of a hotel. From our rose petals n swans anniversary formation on the bed to the wonderful staff,it’s been amazing ! The location is perfect . On a quiet street in Seminyak . 5mins to the beach and rows of eateries . The artsy decor is beautifully instagrammable. I had the most delicious omelette at breakfast . The 1 for 1 mojitos at cocktail hour ...

From the moment you enter is amazing. You are treated like a VIP. Amazing view literally in the middle of the jungle. And the breakfast it was amazing. I changed many hotels in bali and this one had the most amazing breakfast. Everything you want. Perfect service. The dinner delicious but a bit expensive comparing to Ubud prices. But delicious. The only thing is that ...

We have stayed in couple of hotels in Bali and really did some research, the Inaya is far the best hotel in nusa dua in terms of money value, great clean beach, service is not to mention excellent, room with pool is highly recommended and breakfast is diverse and just incredible. I have tried two other famous 4 star hotels in Bali and i can say with full confidence that this hotel deserves to have a 5th star! Very clean rooms, towels, linens etc. Spotless. Very helpful and excited staff. Place feels luxurious. Super delicious with variety breakfast and room service. I complained about a neighbor being noisy and they did their best to control t...

We stayed nearly a week at this beautiful resort. It is very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the beds are great. The balconies are super to sit out and listen to the waves break in the evening or at night. The pool overlooks the beach, as in the pictures, and the beach is directly bordering the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have seen better breakfast...

The Inna Grand Bali Beach is the Queen of Hotels in Bali. I have stayed there many times since 1972 and still find it is my preferred place to stay in Bali. Many staff members have been there for many years and always remember you when you return. It is really lovely to be met at the front entrance with "welcome home" and "its nice to see you again". The rooms ar...

We celebrate our anniversary in Mantra Sakala with our daughter. They upgrade us to suite room. Our room was clean & beautifully decorated. From kitchen, bedsheet, pillow cases, bath tub, shower, toilet, towels are clean. I am very picky with hotels, especially with their cleanliness. The Bed is very comfortable. They have huge pool, and my kid had lots of fun in the p...

the staff are fantastic and helpful. always smiling and willing to assist. the rooms aren't huge but the shower sure is. good little balcony also. the view from the ocean facing rooms is excellent especially if you are on the 4th floor. it is also really great to have free wifi that works well. breakfast is probably the best i have had at any hotel in bali, and i...

we hadn't been to bali for 15 years. kamandalu is the bali we remembered. to ubud centre but worth it to be away from the bustle. the rooms are so good most people stay in them, so it feels like you have the resort to yourself. the service was so good it felt like we had the entire staff to ourselves at times - especially in the restaurant where the food was excellent...

TS Suites is our last hotel to spend our night in our recent trip to Bali. Before, we have spent a night in Sofitel, a luxury hotel. However, we concluded that TS Suites is also a top hotel in Bali. Located in strategic place, TS Suites provide unusual added value service to the guest. It has a free minibar (soft drinks and bars of kit kat) which is refilled every day...

A perfect hotel for me in Bali. I've stayed at more high class hotels in Bali a couple of times and they just don't feel right. The Puri Saron is just the right level where my decidedly picky wife can feel comfortable and relaxed and I can get a little bit of the traditional Bali vibe that keeps me going back since the time when this hotel site was a rice paddy...

Beautiful hotel, amazing views. Pool area was stunning, clean and lovely staff ensuring everyone was looked after. Room was a bit stuffy on arrival but opened the door and got the breeze blowing as well as staff lighting lemongrass oil burners. The smell disappeared after a couple of hours. Food was lovely, large servings and good value. Massages were wonderful but...

We chose the Park Regis because the Deluxe Pool Suites advertised on Agoda looked like really good value. We are happy to say that overall we were delighted with our decision to stay there. best hotel in Bali to stay at..drink in the view, this spot is gorgeous, food good but a little exp for Bali standards...lots of little warungs nearby though. Got upgraded to a jaccuzi villa..if what you want to do is laze around a pool watching the surfers at Uluwatu this is the spot...will come again def!

the most beautiful and luxury hotel i every seen.. i'v been to many hotels and resort all around the world & specially in Indonesia, and this is one of the best ever.. i love everything about it, i don't want to talk in details because i will never finish and am worried that i will miss something, so i will say it again & again ..everything was so beautiful and beyond ...

The Melasti must be one of, or the best value hotel in Bali . The rooms are spacious , well set out and clean. The area is lovely, bars , spars , shops, and resteraunts right at your back door. Our stay was very good for 1 week. Hotel is very well located, walking distance to restaurant, bars and shops. Nice pool on the roof, good breakfast, nice atmosphere in the hotel. You can very easily rent a scooter (definite must in Bali with no exception - bring your international license. You can rent without it with no questions ask but beware of police, they will ...

It was our third trip to Bali. It is very convenient location for closer distance to ubud centre. It sets on the beautiful rice terrace near small creek to show panoramic scenery. Sadly it was my last night in Bali before heading home to Sydney on the late Jetstar flight. I hadn't booked any accomodation for the night as I had been staying in Ubud but wanted to be closer to shopping & the airport for my last day/night. I found a 2 bedroom Villa on Agoda @The JAS Villas right in the hub of Seminyak at a super cheap rate so booked it & I was gobsm...

Let me start with our best compliment for the staff at the royal santrian. They are amazing, we always greeted by name. The staff always make sure all of our need is accomodated. AT first glance, the hotel has a very modern chic new look, a place for urbanites with a Starbucks right at the lobby. A great feature for those accustomed to their regular Joe's even away on vacation. The lobby/reception area is spacious unlike most Bali hotels, with a few helpdesk. However, the check-in was a bit slow (couldn't find my booking) but everything was ...

On our last day in bali we booked this hotel recommended by our driver. Im not very picky with hotel but i usually book accomodation one night then move on to another if i didnt like something, or if i dont feel comfortable. But its a diff dtory with dash, I love The hotel ambiance, designs and art decor. The room is amazing it has a hippie design i love the upside dow...

Our stay was excellent ! Quite expensive for Bali but room was 5 star, all needs met ! Breakfast was high standard , huge pool along with private beach area for the hotel guests . I can’t fault this hotel, it had everything you needed for an awesome getaway. It’s right on the beach front which made it easy for morning runs along the coast. Morning Yoga was pretty special too and provided free at The Anvaya. Breakfasts were to die for, having everything you could need or want to start your day including a fresh juice station and great coffee! W...

We've stayed at many hotels in Bali before and Ayoyda is one of the best we've seen to date. We have been coming to the Ramada for 12 years now, sometime we stay 2 or 3 times a year. We have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels in Bali but nowhere we have stayed has had the same setting or relaxed atmosphere as the Ramada. The Ramada has the lot, great pool, magnificent gardens, friendly staff and great breakfast. The only thing is the staff no longer serve the c...

We spent 6 nights at KajaNe and absolutely loved every minute of it. We stayed in the Benji Nara villa. Beautifully quiet and so private. My husband and I recently had a quick visit for a wedding over to Bali. Just so happens we were celebrating our Anniversary at the same time so... we managed to get over for 5 days without the kids. I would rate The Trans Resort Bali as 5 Stars. It is not cheap, but location, service of staff, & facilities are just so worth it. The staffs were so helpful & very hospitable. The manager was so great to upgrade our room to presidential villa. My family really enjoyed our stay, we will surely stay here again on our next Bali vacation Again, thank you very much THE T...

We only discovered the Patra toward the end of our 2 week holiday in Bali. After going for a walk along the beach toward the airport, we stopped at the beach bar for a drink. I've come to realise that it's the free things that hotels provide you with that make the point of difference. Like the free activities in the morning (I dos yoga, meditation and a session on organic farming). It's the complimentary bottles of mouthwash and loofah. Yes, you'll get bottled water at almost every hotel in Bali but at places like Bisma Eight, you don't get...

This hotel is nestled in one of the more popular areas of Canggu very near the beach. Decorated with museum quality artworks and artifacts of various origins and centuries, the Tugu Bali Hotel will amaze and inspire you during your stay. The staff are exceptionally helpful and are willing to meet all your needs. The rooms are impeccably clean and tended to several time...

it is one of the best hotel in Bali. It has comfortable room, good food, big, nice, children friendly pool. It has private nice beach, you can see sun rise in this hotel. It is far from town. the internet is fast but for 30 minutes only - you need to reconnect after 30 minutes.

This is my first time coming to Bali with my family. Our stay in Sanctoo was a right choice. Overall we were satisfied with the facilities and the service. The villa is very clean, spacious, and private. The location is very near with Bali Zoo (2 mins walk). Free entrance to Bali zoo as well. Should we want to go to Ubud, shuttle is available. Depart at 9 am, and go ba...
Traveler impressions of Bali
Its best to visit bali with your love one, its just too nice to be missed. Of course it can turn into a nightmare if you don't know where to go.
Great place for cheap massages, and amazing food. Watch out for overly forceful salespeople at the markets and street shops, and make sure you can deal with the heat.
Beaches, waterfalls, temples, mountains, volcanos, nature, cultures, food, lovely people... what's not to like? Oh yeah the traffic's horrid.
its a really good city along with volcano and beaches some small islands really good. beaches are really good do spent more time
Bali is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a holiday. A chilled out place where everything, except traffic, is relaxed and moving at own pace.
Spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. Most times you need to haggle on pricing be it clothing, taxi fare or decor.
the culture is really good, plenty of temples, natural waterfalls, beaches etc.. so many things to do and see.
loved every bit of the holiday. nusa dua is awesome. kuta was good because it was not so busy, but stay away from a man who sells wallets etc and call himself 'harry bucking butler'.
Bali has many towns each with their own flavour. Kuta with its wild feel and nightlife is full of young surfers and clubbers.
I have been to Bali dozens of times, love the place & the people. On my recent trip, it's saddened me to see how disrespectful are a lot of the Balinese & the domestic tourists (Indonesians) to their own land.
I love the Mother Nature such as dreamland beach, it is very very clean water and big waive, tanah lot is so beautiful, it look like a stone island and we took a lot of photo there.
Beautiful island. Place to bring your families and have fun at the same time relax and enjoy the atmosphere with good food and entertainments.
Bali is amazingly beautiful island with wonderful and friendly people around, variety of beach clubs, shopping malls and souvenir shops.
There is no place like home, and Bali is my second home. My family and I have been travelling at least twice a year to Bali and we can never get enough.
Best to travel mid of the year as it's not a rainiy season & cool breeze from South makes everything perfect when you do outdoor activities.
attractive. the place that i can come again for next time. Monkey forest that an attractive places for visit
Beautiful island, stunning sunset and friendly people. A bit commercialised, but still retaining the beauty of a little paradise if you know how o avoid the touristic spots
Can be lot to see, the beaches at sunset and unbud for jungle and forest scenery overall lot to do there.
Bali is so different than any other part of Indonesia. This island sets a standar for worldclass tourism industries.
Bali is a beautiful relaxing place to enjoy a holiday. Whatever you wish to do in Bali your wishes can be met.
Beautiful Island, with many tourists, various food, sports activity, many things can be done in Bali Nice Place
Balinese people are friendly and quick to smile. They are gracious and want to please and this makes even the most determined market shop owner bearable and 'sweet' as they call to you to please come and buy from them.
Bali is laid back. Nice place to relax, have good food and good beer, go sightseeing. There are some very touristy areas, but there are nice local spots where you get a good feel of the place.
one of the best places to visit for holidays. I've been around many countries but always come back to Bali
There are too many people trying to make a living out of tourism. They are too pushy to sell goods and services.
Island of the Gods. Although a lot of tourism and hawkers, the vibe is chilled and the culture is intoxicating.
Its has everything if you travel around the island and get out of Kuta. Kuta is for the teenage to party all night and sleep all day.
Bali was an exciting place for us to explore. We tried to see as much as we could in 3 weeks and had the most wonderful time.
Overall good. The only problem is most tourist attractions are are to short and too expansive. We paid 600k for 12 private car.

We had such an amazing time staying at this hotel, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them and they greet you every time they see you in the hotel and ask how things are going. They have a free shuttle bus (minivan) that goes to many areas in kuta and drops you off wherever you'd like to go. This runs several times per day. The res...

My wife & I stayed at the Eden Kuta Bali hotel and had an absolute wonderful experience!! For the money, it is the best deal on the island, we highly recommend this hotel. Swissbel's location is on pettitenget street where you can find many many chic cafes and upper class restaurant with a unique view like paddy's field, sun flower field, etc. What I love the most from this hotel is the paddy's field view specially during morning breakfast time, the view just simply awesome and relaxing and breakfast with paddy's field view is amazing!!!...

We stayed at the kayon jungle for the first 4 nights of our honeymoon and were completely blown away. The resort absolutely breathtaking and the setting is just perfect. It literally is free cocktails (whatever you want) for an hour with really...

This hotel does everything right it was absolutely perfect it really does have a wow factor. I’ve stayed in over 2000 hotels this is probably the best, seriously I just don’t see how they could make it any better. Check in was slow I guess and I made 500 photos in just 1 nights stay. I usually stay in this area on the last day of my Bali visits, as it is not far from the airport and Bluebird cabs are easy to come by. The hotel is still quite new, rooms are minimalistic but not in an unpleasant way, big enough bathroom, sadly with black mold growing quickly inside the shower stall. bed was comfortable and - very important - the internet fast (someth...

This is one of the best affordable hotel in bali. Hotel is located beach front with shops and restaurants just a few steps away. There r 3 swimmimg pools in the hotel with cheap beers n foods served at pool side. I will not hesitate to go back to Grand Inna if i travel to bali again. A word of advise, ask for the newer rooms.

Best hotel in Bali. I felt really special and welcomed by staff. Staff welcomed us with flower garland while entering the hotel. Staff were really friendly, helpful and always smiling. I booked this hotel because both rimba and ayana have beautiful pools , restaurants and priority access to rock bar. Being the guest of Rimba we were given the best seat at rock bar. I w...

it is one of the best hotel in Bali. It has comfortable room, good food, big, nice, children friendly pool. It has private nice beach, you can see sun rise in this hotel. It is far from town. the internet is fast but for 30 minutes only - you need to reconnect after 30 minutes.

I must say this is my best resort/hotel experience in my life. The resort is newly opened with renovation still going on. But you can't actually hear any noise from the renovation. Each villa comes with your personal butler who helps you with everything you need. The bathroom was fantastic. One indoor shower, one outdoor shower and a lovely bathtub big enough to have ...

The hotel had only been open about two months so it was beautifully clean and new. The room was perfect - everything worked and was clean and it had a nice rice field view. The room may have been small for two people with big suitcases, though it was fine for me. The best part is the rooftop pool which overlooks all of Ubud and surrounds. Great place to watch the sunse...

Booked for one night as wife had dental appointment at Bali 911 which was right next door. Staff were great and we even got in at 1pm. This hotel caters for bulk organised tours so you will see hordes of Chinese especially at the less than average 'buffet breakfast'. They were a class act as they pushed and shoved, smoked and spat on the floor. But the room was neat, c...

I hope to return to Bali and visit this property again. We had a very plush, relaxing time. Gorgeous views of the greenery of Ubud, delicious and ample breakfast was included, and our private villa was a level of luxury we had never experienced. Staff was attentive and super accommodating. Little details like our names written in the fruit on our breakfast bowls or...

Only stayed one night after landing in Bali before heading to other areas in Bali. Hotel was grand, felt slightly luxurious for the price and the pool was nice. Seminyak square where there are plenty of smart and delicious restaurants is only 15 minute walk. Would recommend to anyone staying in seminyak on a budget but wanted slight luxury.

The Kuta Paradiso Hotel was very nice with excellent facilities and a fantastic breakfast buffet (best we had in Indonesia)! I was a bit disappointed with the location of our room within the hotel (1st floor located above a bank of HVAC units that were loud and hot when outside on the balcony), but the room itself was fine. Location of the hotel is great, very close ...

The best service we got for 6days stay with 2 kids. Our request was well manage even in the wee hour when my 14mths baby pee on the bed, within 5mins the room service staff brought a fresh bed sheet and comforter for us...the best hotel in Bali i dare says...

There was a bit of confusion when we arrived in regards to our booking and our room was not ready even though it was after 2pm. One hour later it was all sorted out and we headed up to the 6th floor to our room. Room was really clean and spacious with a massive flatscreen internet enabled TV with satellite channels bolted to the wall. WIFI was spot on. And, there was n...

Hotel is cozy and rooms are clean (we stayed in two rooms - 4th floor and a pool access one). All the rooms get their fair share of sunlight which serves as a great wake up call, sunlight is nice for drying wet clothes too (not all hotels have access to sunlight I am afraid). If you are staying for long, you can even just wash your clothes and leave it too dry while yo...

More about Bali
Indonesia may have the world's largest Muslim population, but Bali fosters its own distinct culture. Hinduism has flourished here for nearly 2,000 years. Away from the beaches are fascinating Hindu temples, cultural exhibitions, terraced rice fields, and colorful festivals.
Kuta is the busiest resort district in Bali, featuring some of the top luxury hotels in Bali. Behind the main waterfront is a spread of budget guesthouses that are still within easy walking distance of the beach. From here it's a short trip by taxi or rented motorbike to Uluwatu, a massive limestone peninsula jutting out in the sea. Tourists visit Uluwatu to see the temple, go surfing, or watch the sunset over the majestic cliffs.
Legian is another must-see, as it offers an excellent surf along with exciting nightlife along the beach. Life in Legian begins and ends on the beach. Surf shops give lessons by day, and then give way to lively bars and live music venues after sunset. There is a reason that Bali is often referred to as paradise, and much of it is evidenced by a visit to the many beaches.
