"i arrived near midnight at the airport and there were no buses already but luckily the cab drivers know where this hotel is and kept telling me that it's great and it's new. Checkin was a breeze and the staff were friendly. i got confused at first about the king bed dorm. but apparently, it's a room with it's own private bathroom and there is a shared kitchen at the end of the hall where you can cook. the bed is big and comfy. they provide towels, toothbrush, and shower cap. there are shampoo/soap pumps in the shower but during my stay they were empty. i didn't bother because i used my own shampoo. wifi is strong and fast. there is a laundromat, convenience store, and cafe in the building. there are many restaurants nearby. there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. you can take bus#20 to the bus terminal for 1 brunei dollar. you can change your money for smaller bills at the hotel concierge. "I stay in hotels about 100 nights/year. I normally stay in 4-stars, but with only two nights in Bandar Seri Begawan hotel and no other great hotel choices in the downtown area, I chose the Jubilee. Long story short I would never stay anywhere else in BSB. Staff were ultra friendly and helped me in any way I asked. All of BSB is within a 20 minute walk of the hotel. To see further out sites, the hotel driver took me around in a brand new van for about 25% of the cost of a taxi. Rooms are small, simple but clean. The attached Thai restaurants and small market make it a very convenient location. All in all it was the professional caring efficient staff that makes this hotel an absolute gem. I look forward to returning to the Jubilee. This is a five-star in spirit. "

"It was surprisingly pleasant. With such a competitive rate, I was expecting a run-down building with poor service. But the building was quite new and well-maintained, the parking space ample, the rooms spacious with good beds and the staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. Located just off the Muara-Stutong Highway and close to the Jerudong Park Medical Centre, the location was perfect for me as I could make frequent visits to JPMC to visit a sick friend. Bandar Seri Begawan was also a short drive away. One improvement required: the hotel should insist that guests do not smoke in the rooms. "

"The room was nicer & bigger than I imagined through the photos even though the price wasn't THAT expensive really. Location is decent as there's a few good restaurants in the back and a grocery store. It's very quiet in the day and at night. Like all of Brunei, it's VERY SAFE. Walk around at night with all your jewelry and cash hanging out and no one will harm you even unless you harm them of course. Badiah staff is very very helpful and will really try to help you out in whatever you need. You'll really have to avail of their rent-a-van services for a few hours though if you want to go around Bandar Seri Begawan, but it's totally worth it as the driver will really go to wherever you want within the city and waits for you patiently when done. "This is the second time I have stayed at the Centrepoint hotel, and just as last time it did not disappoint in terms of the size of the room, the facilities and the price was also reasonable. However, the building is getting quite old now, so it's not in the best state when compared to other newer hotels in Bandar Seri Begawan. Breakfast was also a bit worse than last time (the nasi lemak has worsened sadly), but still offers a good selection and is included within the price."

"I have to say that this hotel was ideal for my short stay in Bandar Seri Begawan. The location is a bit out of the way but if you don't mind walking, the location is just perfect. The free shuttle is really helpful because BSB does not have a reliable public transport system. Free pick up and drop off to the airport as well as free trip to tourist spots within BSB. I feel it is good value for money as there is not much to see in BSB so getting to a tourist spot is effortless. Room was clean, they have free coffee and water and the toilet is clean as well. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. My only suggestion is that the breakfast choices could use an improvement and that they close the gate late at night (1am) so I had to call the frontdesk to open it for me."
