“I have been staying in many hotels in Bandung but was my first time staying in Padma since this hotel is always fully booked. I stayed there last week to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I booked two rooms (Premier and Deluxe) via Agoda then sent my special request to Padma Hotel for decorating the premier room for my daughter's birthday surprise. Padma Hotel was very supportive to the request especially Angga Priatna, the Butler Service attendant who had been very communicative and attentive to my requests. He accommodated me and my family well even offered me for another surprise for my daughter during dinner. My daughter had a great birthday in Padma, all of us very much enjoyed the view, facilities, food and services in Padma. It has almost everything you need in a hotel. The outbond area is completed with animal feeding section, house tree, flyng fox, mini golf, etc. The swimming pools & jacuzzi are great, all with warm water, yoga exercise is twice a day.”

“This is a new 5 star hotel that is located next to a large shopping mall and amusement park. It is not in the city centre which may be disadvantageous for some but it also means less of the typical heavy Bandung traffic. The rooms and fittings are luxurious and well kept. The staff are young, enthusiastic and well trained. Compared to other Bandung hotels in the city, it is not cheap but compared to international hotels of a similar standard, it is good value for money.”

“Very satisfied with the room facilities, cleanliness & facilities, although the check-in was a bit slow, we had to wait a while, for the requested non-smoking room to be cleaned & ready. Breakfast selection & varieties is excellent ! for both Asian and continental spreads. Location wise, its very good, as the hotel is just opposite Bandung Indah Plaza, that has a hypermart, eateries, and our favorite spots like the Matahari Department Store, the bookstore Gramedia, the Es Teller 77 restaurant with reasonably priced local favorites, which opens till 10pm & it also whipped one of the best avocado milkshakes ever, and of course the XXI cinema. If you are on a short stay in Bandung & do not have enough time to shop around after you're done with the tours, this hotel is the best place to stay. Bandung Indah Plaza is just across, opposite the hotel, accessible via the convenient overhead bridge, just outside the hotel. Bandung Indah Plaza is fully equipped with fast food outlets like A&W, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, JCO donut & cafe. Enjoy 4 levels of stores, fashion, fun & entertainment (arcades, cinema, karaoke lounge) and plenty of F & B outlets (Food & Beverages). You'll be spoilt for choice !”

“this is one of the best value hotel in Bandung. Located in Riau (Jl. R.E. Martadinata), several famous clothing shop and restaurant is just a walking distance. The staff is very responsive. I'd complained about the water in the closet which keeps on running even after i shut it, it's settle within 30 minutes. The room is quite large and very clean. The breakfast has a lot of variety which taste quite good.”

“This was my maiden stay at Regata hotel where we booked 3 rooms for 2 nights stay in Bandung. Location is excellent as it neighbors Rumah Mode which is a mere 5-minute leisure walk from the hotel; can even see cars driving into Rumah Mode parking area from my hotel room. Adjacent to the hotel is the supermarket where you can procure your daily sundries (very convenient for families), fresh fruits are always in stock which is something i look forward to every time i am in town. Rooms are great as Regata is relatively a new hotel in Bandung, would definitely consider staying here for my next trip to Bandung !”

“This is by far one of the best hotels in Bandung. Not a high class hotel, but not shabby either. If u r looking for clean n comfort, sensa has it all. The room is quite spacious, enough for u to even put yr luggage bag. Each rm has a balcony, the view is not really spectacular but Acceptable. We didhave a problem with our balcony door, jus needed to inf the front desk n they will send a guy up to yr rm to open rhe balcony door with a key. Toilet is quite spacious too, equipped with ecowasher toilet (my fav part of the toilet) and a standing shower. There is a huge full length mirror in the toilet which i personally liked. There is no door to separate the shower n toilet seat, jus a glass which actually causes water to splash out while bathing. But that is jus tolerable. The toilet door has no lock, jus slides close n open. But for me i'm ok with it as me n my husband can have our private toilet time but not too much. Bed was super huge enuff for me n my husband who are quite big sized. Tv channels are variety, if not for the shopping i could have just stayed indoors n watch cable. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Even tho not as much spread as the one in bintan lagoon, however i was satisfied. Quite a variety of food, ranging frm light breakfast meals to heavy meals like rice n even the famous Bandung Bakso. The diner also has a nice view beside the swimming pool n a deck where pple can jus sit n chill. Staff are friendly n helpful. Room service was very fast. When i called room service saying i want an extra towel, the guy came up like in less than 5 mins. There was wifi in every floor, jus need to get a daily login id n password from the front desk. Location is also one of the best. The hotel is located next to Cihampelas Mall where u can find a lot of food, stores n supermarket. It is also located next to jeans street where u can find nice jeans. Do chk this plce out in google. Overall, i loved my stay.”

“We decided to stay at Interncontinental Bandung, as we want to stay in Five star hotel with gorgeous scenery view and fresh air. There are plenty of hotel close to nature and mountain view (Lembang area), but none of the hotel meet International five star standard. There are plenty of five star hotel in Bandung, but none of them, have beautiful view and modern design, with five star services (most of the hotel located in the city). Only Intercontinental Bandung offer both views and comfort with five star level of service. The food is great, we are having great barbeque buffet, but most impressive is, when we arrive, we got room upgrade, and the room was ready (the air con is already on)., which barely happen in other five star hotel. (usually check in time 3pm, and the room is not air con ready yet). The infinity pool overlooking green lush view of Bandung is fantastic! Luxurious room (and bathroom design) I love it so much. I love the hotel design, the interior.”

“I had a wonderful stay at The Luxton. The breakfast was excellent. The room is very clean n comfortable. My kids enjoyed swimming eventhough it rained evryday bec of the indoor swimming pool. My kids love the kids club. The only thing that need improvement is the parking area which is too small. But tht's not a big problem coz thy provide free vallet parking which is very helpful. “Best location in the heart of Bandung city,, 10-15 minutes drive to Bandung Zoo and Paris Van Java Mall,, 5 minutes walk to Cihampelas Walk (large shopping mall in the area), Teras Cihampelas (hawker street local food), factory outlet. But i don't like the traffic jam around and front of the hotel (Cihampelas Street), faster n easier walking by foot better than driving. If you want to go to Lembang (Kampung Gajah, Farm House, Floating Market etc) around 1 hour drive by car on weekdays (around 3-4 hour drive on weekend or public holidays!!) breakfast quality n variety of the food is ok (if you want omelette, you have to ask restaurant staff). If you want to check out early in the morning, please ask valet staff to prepare your car ASAP,, bcauz the hotel only have small parking area. Wifi connection is quite good. Please provide hair dryer, small fridge, n liquid soap in the bathroom...”

“We arrived at the hotel around 3.30 pm booking 2 family rooms. But one the room's toilet is leaking. Only 1 family room is available which I allocate to my daughter with her young family (with1 little kid and a baby). The receptionist was very nice to replace the faulty room with 2 Delux rooms for me & my wife and my son which I agreed. She said the family room will be available tomorrow after repair is done. Upon arrive from outing at 6.30 pm our family room was ready with our luggages has already been transferred the family room which been repaired. The breakfast were tasty too. I ordered 2 taxis to take us to airport upon check out on the fourth day. The girl receptionist ordered for us 2 Bluebird taxis which she said the best taxi in town. The Bluebird taxis arrived exactly ontime at 10.30 am as requested. Above all, the fare to airport is much cheaper (Rp35k/taxi) as compared to paying Rp70k/taxi when we took the taxis from airport to hotel upon our arrival in Bandung. Definitely I will stay here again during my next visit to Bandung. Nice people, nice hotel and nice breakfast.”

“Stayed there for 3 nites and booked 3 deluxe rooms. I happened to occupy the biggest room, no 355. The room 317 which my sister stayed is smaller and has 'fake' window aka windowless. What I like the most about the hotel is the location. Very easy to get taxi and restaurants are near. Shopping outlets cab be found all around the hotel, less fancy than those found in Jalan Riau and Jalan Dago but good enough for me to get some t-shirts and stuffs for myself and my daughters as we came to Bandung with 1 small bag. I stayed in a few hotels in Bandung and I think this is the best hotel so far. Also what is more rewarding is we got good rate from Agoda.”

“This is one hotel in Bandung that I will return to. We got a free upgrade thanks to the staff u knew that we are on a honeymoon. They were very helpful, especially Ricky (supervisor). He helped us arrange our transport and even sit and hang with us a little to introduce the hotel and himself. “Mercure Bandung City Centre is a new and hip place to stay in. It wasn't too expensive but I don't consider it very cheap either. But since it is new, I didn't mind paying the amount that I did. The decor of the hotel is modern and very pleasant. The room was quite spacious, and the bed very comfortable. I also spent considerable time at the pool, which was not very big but sufficient to do some laps. The deck chairs did not have cushions so they tend to get a little hot under the sun but you could get a towel and use that to lay on. When it got too hot, the couch and chairs in the shade were very comfortable. I most enjoyed the service provided by the staff, who were always friendly and helpful! And I'm not only talking about people at the front desk. The servers in the restaurant were awesome, so were the guys at the pool, and the housekeeping staff! However, because it is a new hotel, it has the expected teething problems. The most jarring problem that stood out to me was the breakfast in the hotel cafe. For 4 mornings, I only enjoyed the congee and the egg station, because they were the only hot food available (there was also soto in a boiling pot but I did not eat that). The other food, like the fried noodles, fried rice, vegetables etc that were in food warmers were cold because the heaters were not turned on. That defeats the purpose of putting the food in the warmers... I had dinner in the restaurant at the first night as well and the food took a very long time to come as well. But the staff were so nice that I didn't mind the wait too much. Continue to improve, Mercure Bandung City Centre! I might come back again.”

“Art Deco is a very beautiful hotel. The owner/designer meticulously designed every corner with perfection. It is located in uphill Ciumbeleuit. You may still feel the fresh cool air of Bandung. For runners, do challenge yourselves to exercise your uphill running. Good luck! I booked deluxe and premier rooms. The room size is enough, not too big not to small. The food is one thing they should improve, though. The restaurant is at the 10th floor, you can see Bandung in the morning and at night from here. It would be a perfect 10 if the food were tasty. All in all, we enjoyed staying at Art Deco Hotel.”

“I stayed here in a group of family during 2018 new year. Stayed 2 nights from Dec 31st to Jan 2nd. Here is my impression of the hotel: 1. Location and facilities The hotel is strategically located in Jl. Bahureksa, very close to Jl. R.E Martadinata (or known as jalan Riau) where there are a lot of Factory Outlet and restaurants. Also close to Bandung Indah Plaza and Dago area. Jl. Bahureksa itself is not a crowded street so its pretty quiet in the hotel area. Hotel has 1 restaurant & coffee shop and some meeting rooms. Same as most of hotel in Bandung, parking space is not that a lot but somehow during my 2 nights stay here I was luckily enough managed to get parking space in the basement (they have basement parking lot for around 12-15 cars) Lobby has open air concept and several sofas to lounging or enjoying coffee from the restaurant. 2. Room I booked a family room which can accommodate up to 4-5 peoples. It has small living area in the middle between the beds. Room is nicely designed and looks modern. Also it was very clean. Aircon worked very well for such a large room. All standard amenities are provided and the room has such a homy feels that makes you don't want to leave and going outside. Bathroom is decent in size. Not very large but still okay for a big person like me. I think in overall the bedroom looks better than the bathroom in term of design. Bathroom is pretty basic in my opinion. For your information as the hotel located in dense residential area, try to book room on high floor to get better view. I stayed on 2nd floor, and not much we can see from the window as it just slightly higher than the neighbors roof. 3. Food & beverages I only get a chance to have breakfast here and didn't get a chance to order the room service. But in ny opinion food taste pretty good. “A very quiet environment for those who seek peace from town life and those who loves jogging and cardio. What I recommend to those who have book this place is to bring cup noodles if you do not intend to invest a lot on meals. Also they do not have any microwave so be prepared to eat before coming back to your villa. If water heater is the problem, fret not they do have. It is behind the toilet bowl. “The building looks quite old but I entered the room, the interior looks very new. They just renovated the hotel. The room is nice, comfy bed, everything in the toilet works fine. Wifi is average, what I like best is the homey feel. You can just open the window and feel the cold weather of Bandung. It has also a very tasty Japanese restaurant at the side of the hotel. Too bad when I went there, the Japanese chef was on leave back home to Japan but the food was tasty and recommended nevertheless. “I stayed with my kid and this is the most recommended 4 stars hotel in Bandung. The hotel is not too large but they have a different style than others. I really love with our room, it's full touch of Parisian Classic Style which is sooo intagram-able. My kid is so in love with the pool, although is not a big pool, but the water was so warm. “Very pleasant really, the manager very kind and helpful, fixed a motorbike rental for me , delivered and returned to the door, even though he speaks no English. His wife does ( a little) and the young children made the place more relaxed and liveable, to my mind. So on return with the motor(as they are called in Indonesia) I stayed another two nights, they offered me a 'deluxe' room as the single room was taken, this was identical to the small room, only larger, and cost a third more. Room rates are ok, not cheap for a small place with only a front door foyer for common area, but nice and clean, fairly new too.(But in an old house in an alley) Walking distance (just) to the main mall in Bandung , called Parisvan Java, and to one of the main factory outlets, for which Bandung is famous. And rightly so, the prices are very good, and reasonable quality clothes too. Shops and restaurants are close to the guest house, and the main street Cipaganti only two minutes' walk, for angkots to the centre etc. Also to the big local volcano beyond Lembang, directly the other way. This is important in Bandung, a huge city these days, and very confusing to move around in. (Motor)bikes are the best idea, but scary for beginners, this guest house will get one for you! And there are very few rental places too. Also the best bus company in West Java down the same avenue, 1 km walk, which operates a brilliant door- to -door service.”

“This was one of the nicest places I ever stayed. Everything was still brand new and very clean. The rooms and beds were simple but sufficient, every bed has its own locker. The shared bathroom included hot water, shampoo and soap and right next to the dorm. There is common area with couches and you can enjoy your free tea or coffee all day. Besides the breakfast is really delicious and there is a different Indonesien dish every day. Furthermore the staff has maps and detailed explanation of how to get to the surrounding attractions of Bandung, with entrance prices, which bus to take, how much they cost etc., and could answer any question about the area that I had. Bandunng is not on the main tourist trek through Java, but there are many things to explore and enjoy, so with the help of this hostel it was definatly worth to make the trip.”

“The staff were very friendly, the cleaner seemed busy and while some of the furniture was clearly old and slightly shabby, it was very clean. Hot water was a bit scarce, It seemed to be first awake gets the warm shower and if you wanted a nice shower in the evening after a day sweating in the Indonesian heat, you'd have to make do with a shower that knocks the breath out of you when the water hits you because it's so cold. All in all I still enjoyed my stay thanks to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, would recommend for young solo travellers or couples/families on a budget. Be prepared to use taxi or gojeg services if you wish to go out, though they're quite inexpensive. A traveller experienced in Indonesia may opt to use the angkots which pass by as often as two a minute.”

But when I saw that the shared bathroom was extremely clean, and the hot water was working, so I bathed joyfully. The room was small, and no-TV. But it's expected for such a cheap room under 100k. “Is a very nice stay, the staffs are nice. They give us a warm welcome and every morning they will bring us the breakfast even your room at the highest level. Beside, although it just a simple breakfast, but u can feel that they are really do it full of heart. And at these 3 nights stay, I get one local style Nasi Goreng as my breakfast is really tasty. And every floor they provide u water dispenser. For location, there a very nice Fried Rice stall just right in front of this guest house and it just cost 10,000rp! And the famous marts in Indonesia which are IndoMart and AlphaMart are just near this guesthouse. For the train station, u just need to walk around 7-10misn to reach there, is very convinient. “I was stay here for 12 days. The location was very hard to find because it located inside the peoples house area. The only best things from this hostel is the staff. Two guys stay in the hotel was so friendly and helpful. They can make you tea or coffee in the middle of the night. In the morning, they can ironing your clothes. All that stuff is just for free. Amazing! The breakfast is traditional food, but its good enough. You must walk about 7 minutes to find public transportation and cab.”

“I have been staying in many hotels in Bandung but was my first time staying in Padma since this hotel is always fully booked. I stayed there last week to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I booked two rooms (Premier and Deluxe) via Agoda then sent my special request to Padma Hotel for decorating the premier room for my daughter's birthday surprise. Padma Hotel was very supportive to the request especially Angga Priatna, the Butler Service attendant who had been very communicative and attentive to my requests. He accommodated me and my family well even offered me for another surprise for my daughter during dinner. My daughter had a great birthday in Padma, all of us very much enjoyed the view, facilities, food and services in Padma. It has almost everything you need in a hotel. The outbond area is completed with animal feeding section, house tree, flyng fox, mini golf, etc. The swimming pools & jacuzzi are great, all with warm water, yoga exercise is twice a day.”

“We decided to stay at Interncontinental Bandung, as we want to stay in Five star hotel with gorgeous scenery view and fresh air. There are plenty of hotel close to nature and mountain view (Lembang area), but none of the hotel meet International five star standard. There are plenty of five star hotel in Bandung, but none of them, have beautiful view and modern design, with five star services (most of the hotel located in the city). Only Intercontinental Bandung offer both views and comfort with five star level of service. The food is great, we are having great barbeque buffet, but most impressive is, when we arrive, we got room upgrade, and the room was ready (the air con is already on)., which barely happen in other five star hotel. (usually check in time 3pm, and the room is not air con ready yet). The infinity pool overlooking green lush view of Bandung is fantastic! Luxurious room (and bathroom design) I love it so much. I love the hotel design, the interior.”

“Has always been of my family’s favourite hotel to stay in Bandung ever since I lived in the city during university years. Rooms at the Towers, in particular, are comfortable & stylish. Great breakfast, & delicious afternoon tea buffet in towers lounge. We were very fortunate to stay during their christmas tree lighting ceremony in the towers lounge, afternoon tea turned into a fancy afternoon cocktail with mulled wine & fancy (& certainly delicious!) hors d'oeuvres. Though it was constantly raining during out stay, we didnt mind, because the facilities more than made up for it. Got to enjoy the relaxing spa, while husband spent the afternoon at the nice gym. Definitely the highly recommended hotel in Bandung that cater for family, couples, or even solo travellers. The only letdown is a bunch of corporate group whose loud morning activity disturbed our sleep. They really didnt need to use such loud speaker considering the small number group doing the morning exercise/games thingy. Perhaps the hotel can allocate a space for such group activity away from towers rooms?”

“It was really really good. As mentioned, hospitality was unmatched by any other hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel staff went to the best of their ability to tend to our needs. We managed to have the relaxing holiday we wanted. Transport infrastructure within bandung is a huge challenge. Angkots are mostly for the locals as they are familiar with the routes, no trains or teams around, and few taxis available. We had to hire a car for the day or book a taxi, of which it took at least 20 min wait each time. However the staff made it much easier for us by helping us with these difficulties. The concierge, Agust, even ran after us as we walked towards out taxi to the airport and presented us an elephant soft toy each, thanking us for our stay and welcoming us to stay with them again. It was simply fantastic. We had a great time. Thank you Papandayan hotel!”

“I have to admit this is the first time i use Agoda Homes service and i am glad that i chose the unit. What made me choosing it is simply because of the interior design by the owner and color combination that excite me during booking. Jardin Apartment has prime location which is very near to Ciwalk and you can order Grab at the guard lobby to go anywhere in Bandung city. I was intended to cook but since there is Nasi Padang small restaurant which serves delicious sambal. Facilities were good, many laundry shops , various indonesian style food restaurants in the complex and good gym as well. . Owner also replied promptly to your questions and requests. The studio can fit in 3 peoples , not more . If i would suggest to owner to enhance this unit are : 1) Provide electric kettle (coz i bit lazy to boil water from the stove) and maybe ironing facility, 2) Additional safety indoor lock at the door 3) Small book rack with best selling novels for long staying customers to read.”

“This is not the first time for me to stay in Mason Pine Hotel. I keep coming back to stay here because this is one of my favorite hotel in Bandung. The room is extremely large for deluxe size, very convenient with great view. My kids really enjoy staying in this hotel, coz they have plenty of kids activities from sports, art and craft, etc. The location is pretty close to tol exit of Padalarang but quite far from the Bandung City. However if you're seeking for weekend gateway for family, you can try this hotel.”

If you are on a short stay in Bandung & do not have enough time to shop around after you're done with the tours, this hotel is the best place to stay. “This is by far one of the best hotels in Bandung. Not a high class hotel, but not shabby either. If u r looking for clean n comfort, sensa has it all. The room is quite spacious, enough for u to even put yr luggage bag. Each rm has a balcony, the view is not really spectacular but Acceptable. We didhave a problem with our balcony door, jus needed to inf the front desk n they will send a guy up to yr rm to open rhe balcony door with a key. Toilet is quite spacious too, equipped with ecowasher toilet (my fav part of the toilet) and a standing shower. There is a huge full length mirror in the toilet which i personally liked. There is no door to separate the shower n toilet seat, jus a glass which actually causes water to splash out while bathing. But that is jus tolerable. The toilet door has no lock, jus slides close n open. But for me i'm ok with it as me n my husband can have our private toilet time but not too much. Bed was super huge enuff for me n my husband who are quite big sized. Tv channels are variety, if not for the shopping i could have just stayed indoors n watch cable. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Even tho not as much spread as the one in bintan lagoon, however i was satisfied. Quite a variety of food, ranging frm light breakfast meals to heavy meals like rice n even the famous Bandung Bakso. The diner also has a nice view beside the swimming pool n a deck where pple can jus sit n chill. Staff are friendly n helpful. Room service was very fast. When i called room service saying i want an extra towel, the guy came up like in less than 5 mins. There was wifi in every floor, jus need to get a daily login id n password from the front desk. Location is also one of the best. The hotel is located next to Cihampelas Mall where u can find a lot of food, stores n supermarket. It is also located next to jeans street where u can find nice jeans. Do chk this plce out in google. Overall, i loved my stay.”

“I had a wonderful stay at The Luxton. The breakfast was excellent. The room is very clean n comfortable. My kids enjoyed swimming eventhough it rained evryday bec of the indoor swimming pool. “Stayed there for 3 nites and booked 3 deluxe rooms. I happened to occupy the biggest room, no 355. The room 317 which my sister stayed is smaller and has 'fake' window aka windowless. What I like the most about the hotel is the location. Very easy to get taxi and restaurants are near. Shopping outlets cab be found all around the hotel, less fancy than those found in Jalan Riau and Jalan Dago but good enough for me to get some t-shirts and stuffs for myself and my daughters as we came to Bandung with 1 small bag. I stayed in a few hotels in Bandung and I think this is the best hotel so far. Also what is more rewarding is we got good rate from Agoda.”

“Mercure Bandung City Centre is a new and hip place to stay in. It wasn't too expensive but I don't consider it very cheap either. But since it is new, I didn't mind paying the amount that I did. The decor of the hotel is modern and very pleasant. The room was quite spacious, and the bed very comfortable. I also spent considerable time at the pool, which was not very big but sufficient to do some laps. The deck chairs did not have cushions so they tend to get a little hot under the sun but you could get a towel and use that to lay on. When it got too hot, the couch and chairs in the shade were very comfortable. I most enjoyed the service provided by the staff, who were always friendly and helpful! And I'm not only talking about people at the front desk. The servers in the restaurant were awesome, so were the guys at the pool, and the housekeeping staff! However, because it is a new hotel, it has the expected teething problems. The most jarring problem that stood out to me was the breakfast in the hotel cafe. For 4 mornings, I only enjoyed the congee and the egg station, because they were the only hot food available (there was also soto in a boiling pot but I did not eat that). The other food, like the fried noodles, fried rice, vegetables etc that were in food warmers were cold because the heaters were not turned on. That defeats the purpose of putting the food in the warmers... I had dinner in the restaurant at the first night as well and the food took a very long time to come as well. But the staff were so nice that I didn't mind the wait too much. Continue to improve, Mercure Bandung City Centre! I might come back again.”

“Art Deco is a very beautiful hotel. The owner/designer meticulously designed every corner with perfection. It is located in uphill Ciumbeleuit. You may still feel the fresh cool air of Bandung. For runners, do challenge yourselves to exercise your uphill running. Good luck! I booked deluxe and premier rooms. The room size is enough, not too big not to small. The food is one thing they should improve, though. The restaurant is at the 10th floor, you can see Bandung in the morning and at night from here. It would be a perfect 10 if the food were tasty. “I stayed with my kid and this is the most recommended 4 stars hotel in Bandung. The hotel is not too large but they have a different style than others. I really love with our room, it's full touch of Parisian Classic Style which is sooo intagram-able. My kid is so in love with the pool, although is not a big pool, but the water was so warm. Only take 15 minutes to the Main Train Station in Bandung by car. And the best point is you just need to walk 5 minutes to Paris Van Java, around 100 meters to the hotel. The staff is so helpful and humble. I should be back one day to this hotel.”

“we stayed at this hotel for 4 days & 3 nights in october 2012. this hotel implementing a good security measures to protect their customers. there will be a car check up by the security officer before you are allowed to proceed to the hotel lobby entrance. at the lobby entrance we were welcomed by the hotel staff which is friendly & helpful. during the check in process, we were attended with smile by the reception officer. for the room, we requested for a non-smoking room & we stayed at level 10 of the hotel. the room is clean and satisfactorily. equipped with basic facilities such as bath tub, lcd tv, kettle, comfortable bed, complimentary toiletries & bottled water and safety box. the room just nice for a traveler with a small baby like us & comfortable enough to rest ourselves after the whole day of trip around bandung city. before i forgot, you can go away with the bandung traffic noise if you stay at this hotel because it is not located immediately at the roadside like many other hotels in bandung. this is extra point to stay again at this hotel. we were also had our breakfast at this hotel during our stay. the food is nice with choices of few asian food. however, there were nothing like sausages, nuggets or chicken slice during our stay and we think it is worth to be provided in future for service betterment. in short, we recommended this hotel for those looking for a hotel in bandung (i even bumped into this hotel gm, mr marak during his morning rounding). thank you.”

“Stayed at Galeri Ciumbuleuit for 4 nights & absolutely in love with the hotel. It is away from the busy traffic of Bandung, has super tight security (guards will check every vehicles' trunks and under the vehicles as well) & attentive staffs. Booked the Junior Suite & got the 20th floor with balcony & thankfully not the room facing the construction. Comes with a living room, LED TV, king size bed, hair dryer, dining table, fridge, coffee/tea/kettle/basin. Couch was super big & comfy and we do not even have to on the AC, just open the balcony door slightly to let the breeze in. The CONs is that, I do not know if this is a non-smoking hotel or I just happened to get a non-smoking room. But we did informed the front desk & they had no qualms about us smoking in the room provided that we know how to air the room/clean up after smoking. Toilet was super clean and spacious & room service will change & clean the room everyday & provide 2 bottles of plain water. (Hotel was kind enough to put notice near our washing area to NOT drink anything from the pipe). Staffs: Efficient, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Since my boyfriend and I didnt use any drivers for the trip, staffs were helpful in providing information/tips of good shopping places, price range for cabbing to certain places and calling a cab for us every single time. We were also glad that the hotel provide free ironing board & iron & even travel adapter when asked. The view from the hotel is amazing, so try asking for a high floor and away from the construction cause they are building Galeri 2. However, high floor also means sucky wifi. I had to keep on changing login id & connecting to the network but according to the receptionist, its due to the high floor. Breakfast spread is not bad! Western as well as local dishes. I would definitely come back here the next time i'm in Bandung & definitely recommending it to friends.”

But, you need to be good in reading maps. You're just gonna need it. Looking for quiet place? This place will probably fit you, as well. “I made a booking for the Deluxe Room for 2 nights here which includes breakfast as I got it on a well promotional rate. The large room with relaxing sofa’s and comfortable bed was way too good. After some research and reading up the good reviews of this place. The room service of this hotel is above excellent when I arrived here. The rooms were extremely clean. This hotel met my expectation’s way above and for its security here. This hotel is located on very busy jam road. The swimming pool looked great from our room’s balcony but unfortunately could not get to use it as my partner was not feeling well. The views from our room was just breath taking which i call it the Bandung, Pastuer Oasis. =) We just loved this hotel and definitely would be a great memory for us here especially for my partner feeling like a Queen here. She was just too amazed with the lovely great weather, ambience and scenery nearby. Really appreciate the kind staffs over the past days there. Nice place, warm service, great panorama, delicious food and with the right person to call off this fantastic perfect trip. “Easily one of the best hotel in Bandung. Fuss free from the start they welcome us at the airport, room was ready for us when we arrived. Breakfast was great in my opinion. “We booked a few rooms as we were going as a large family, and had a great overall experience. Rooms were nicely furnished, had everything we needed and service was exceptional. Check-in was smooth and quick, and we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is located in an area with lots of street food and restaurants (I recommend the grilled banana at a kiosk opposite the hotel, as well as chicken porridge that's great for breakfast, also opposite the hotel), and also has a great view of Tangkuban Perahu and depending on which room you get, you may also be able to see planes landing and taking off at the nearby airport. Would recommend this to other travellers and would return if I visit Bandung again.”

“We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night. We traveled in a group of friends looking for a fun short vacation in Bandung. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Although the bathroom does not have bathtub in it, but the size especially the shower area is quite huge. We had a room with pool view and from our balcony in the 15th floor, we can also see the city of Bandung. The hotel is located in the Braga Walk complex where there are a lot of food stalls and the famous chain restaurant "The Kiosk". Ambiance is very nice in the afternoon, night and also for a morning walk. Around the hotel within walking distance there are also many restaurants and bakery that you can just walk to. Breakfast was standard with alternatives from Asian to Western food available. They even have pancakes and waffles! We really enjoyed staying in Aston Braga and would love to return in the next opportunity.”

“Arion Swiss Bel Hotel Bandung is an excellent hotel if you want to stay long in Bandung. The room is nice and its amenities are great. After a long day of factory outlets shopping, you would appreciate the comfort of the Arion Swiss Bel Hotel room. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located near Pasar Baru, where you can buy a lot of cheap and good quality local items. The Hotel building also look new and the hotel lobby is nice and tidy. Overall, I would rate Arion Swiss BelHotel as the best hotel in Bandung and I would love to stay here on my next trip to Bandung.”

“My favorite hotel in Bandung!! it takes longer for us to arrive at the hotel since the road around the hotel is under maintenance, the hotel façade is so catchy.. it looks like an old ranch in Europe, inside.. its even better!!! the lobby had a fire place and every corner is a perfect photo spot for instagram, the lobby had a terrace facing a lush garden landscape with a swimming pool in the middle (kind of lavish for a downtown man like me.. ). the hotel room is spacious and also decorate nicely with a comfy King sized bed. And breakfast? its more than I expect.. the food seems to be seriously prepared.. "nasi kuning" corner is the best, and in my opinion the breakfast menu and taste is even better than most of a 5 star famous chain hotel. Best part is there is a guitar available near by the lobby fire place and can be play by the guest, I was initially think that the guitar is just part of lobby decoration that cannot be played... but I was wrong, the "Yamaha" guitar is in a good shape and the hotel staff don't mind to offer us on playing the guitar.. I've had a great quality time with my 5 years old sons here by singing our favorite song, looks to be simple kind facility but I guess that is actually the personal touch from the hotel that many other hotel don't have... definitely will be back here again.. (of course when the road maintenance is complete.. )”

“I give an okay for this hotel because it needs to be modernized to compete with other modern and new hotels in Bandung, especially in Dago area. The facilities is good, especially the jacuzzi gives an extra point for this hotel. The room we stayed in was big, but still needs to be modernized. The Swimming Pool is great, especially the Kids Pool, but it would be greater if they can change it to warm water pool due to the cold weather in Dago area. If the hotel is modernized, I will definitely come back again with my family.”

“This is my fave hotel in bandung. I was here for hnmm... the 5th time? We mostly booked the 2nd bed room suite for family of 4. The room is spacious, and they provide microwave. My kids love their warm water whirlpool Beside the hotel, you can buy lunch and dinner in warung inul. They sell tasty Sundanese food with very affordable price. ”

“Its a pretty new hotel in Bandung. Was named H Clarity before, and recently they had management change. Building is new, amenity was good and clean, but I had small problem with the water bidet, the flow was so small. I stay there during Idul Fitri holiday, stay for 1 night and check in 1 day before D-day. Pool not really big but it is in the rooftop so you can have pretty good view of Bandung from there, they also have pool side cafe where you can order snack and drink to enjoy while you swimming or just relaxing beside the pool. They also have small kids corner near the pool where your kid can play, but its outdoor so you cant use it if it rain. They also have small rabbit cage with several cute rabbits inside, you can play with them and when I was there 1 of the rabbit jump out of the cage... hahaha... Room is big and clean. I was receiving welcome snack with personal message in my room when I was check in, very nice personal touch and really impressed me. Breakfast is huge, I dont know if it because of the Idul Fitri celebration or not, but I think 4 stars hotel should have this kind of standard for their breakfast. The best part of it, they have ice cream stall and sushi for breakfast. Unfortunately I wasn't so well during my stay and I can't really enjoy the breakfast although I really want to. The manager also having a chat with us during breakfast and asking if we were having any complaints or suggestion, pretty nice personal approach and you can see they want to learn from their guess and keep everything running smoothly. Keep up the good work. Definitely will come back here again if I go to Bandung.”
