Where to stay in Bansko
Bansko hotels & accommodations

I stayed two nights at the The Balkan Jewel Resort and Spa. My apartment was spacious and comfortable. The views were beautiful. All the staff was very helpful and attentive, especially the front desk gentleman (Emil (sp?). I arranged a day trip with the front desk to see Rila Monastery. Also, he took the time to help me with bus schedules for the next leg of my tr...

We liked our room, despite the size. We had a studio room on the 6th floor, which was built for much shorter people (our heads hit the roof in the sloped bathroom.) However, there was a massive deck for this room which was the size of the apartment with awesome views. Everyone else had very small balconies. The guy that checked us in was very unhelpful, as was anothe...

The property is closer to the Bansko Gondola Skilift. The staff was nice and polite and the rooms are very clean. The swimming pool and the sauna is clean and you can have a very relaxing stay over there. We have stayed in the New Years Eve period at the hotel and they put in our room small gifts (a bottle of wine, candies, fruits). There was very hot in the lobby and ...

Pro: Spatious Clean Good service Garage Ski depot Hot tube Big seif Kitchen with almost everything you need to cook No masseur at the spa Con: Noisy (thin walls) You can hear the phone even when it rings in another room Poor breakfast The pool close at 8pm

Pluses: 1. Quite place not far from central (Pirin street) and Gondola (near 1km) 2. Room is clean, big with good furniture 3. Owner is friendly and always can help you with any question. Minuses: 1. The breakfast range is not wide, despite the fact that nobody was there besides us. 2. Reception is not always available, but this is restriction for every guesthouse.

We stayed in a suite during the summer. The room was clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. There is nothing you could want from the hotel. We visited the restaurant based on the rave reviews but my warning is that if you eat in the restaurant - a chain called 'Victoria' - just order the pizza. I found that my Bulgarian dish was cold in the middle from a lack of r...

Very poor, the price is too high for what they are offering, not good value for money, very poor breakfast, very poor service, very expensive SPA, with no good service. it's a new hotel, but the guid it using cheap materials in general the not so good choice

i would certainly stay at the hotel pirin again (this was my first stay). i feel that the hotel offers a good value, when you consider the price versus the facilities, comfort, and good service. the personnel were all very friendly and helpful, and spoke good english. i arrived early (a couple of hours before the normal check-in time) a few days before christmas, an...

we stayed in this hotel for the second time and again we were very pleased to stay here. it is just a small family-run hotel, but that is what it makes the hotel very pleasant. the rooms are clean and fresh, the beds are good, the breakfast buffet is traditional bulgarian but very nice. the hotel is located very near the shopping street where also many restaurants are ...

On our way back from Greece we decided to spend 1 day in Bansko. I've been there before and knew that Bansko is alive during winter season. It proofed to be almost empty. The stay was amazing, we were so happy we stayed at this place, as the room and the yard was great for us and especially for out baby, but most of all the owners were so nice and helpful, and went out of their way to help us. The food Ivan made was the best we ate in Bulgaria. We would give them much more than 10 if we could. Highly recommended!

We wound up here in off season and literally had the place to ourselves. We only interacted with the owner once by cell phone. She had someone meet us to give us the keys to the building at that was it. The room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. A little odd having to lock up the hotel each time we came/left, but we loved our stay here!

The hotel is in a vast, beautiful area with 2 golf courses, lovely landscape and amazing facilities. The lakehouse itself was a big, comfortable 2 stoorey 3 bedroom house, in front of the lake, with amazing view to it from its balconies. The spa area is very clean and it offers 1 indoor pool, 3 outdoor pools with heated water and numerous spa facilities. The grounds of...

The hotel ‘s breakfast and dinner buffet is excellent, highly recommended you include in your room booking. Really value for money. Swimming pool and spa facilities are great for apres ski. If you going to Bansko is for ski vacation, then this is the one. They have ski rental and shuttle service to gondola lift. Very convenient!
