We found it too be in a beautiful location, amazing being right in Barossa Valley. The the staff we did see we're really nice. We just found this place with great potential was lacking with its appearance. The room itself was clean but very very budget and outdated. We also had the continental buffet breakfast and was pretty disappointed with what was on offer. We had ...

We had a good stay. I have rated motel 3 star not 4 for reasons, room definitely only 3 star, dining and bistro area 4 star. Breakfast is additional cost which in my view makes the motel on the expensive side, however, we are in the Barossa valley and everything is expensive. management need to get rid of the coffee machine. It is not only a safety hazard but the waite...

We always enjoy our annual stay at Novotel Barossa Valley Hotel. Staff are fantastic, so helpful and obliging, beautiful outlook over Barossa Valley - great location for overseas visitors and locals too - wineries are so welcoming to visitors for tastings. Beautiful Harry's Restaurant within the Hotel for dinner and breakfast overlooking the valley awesome. Cleanlin...

Beautiful serene setting, self contained 2bedroom cottage with everything you could wish for: Nespresso machine, plentiful Barossa Valley food supplies, fluffy towels, excellent free wifi, great beds, Netflix smart tv, log fire, air con, several outdoor seating/meal settings, row boat on lake. We did/used it all and our only complaint is that we should have stayed long...

We visited Barossa for three nights in April 2018 and needed two rooms. Were met by a very friendly manager/lessee who was always available to assist. Rooms were not large and as he said all require a bit of a make over to bathrooms but for $85pn with free internet we were really pleased. Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds were comfy and motel was super quiet. Will happ...

couldn't complain about anything, the staff were really friendly, the room was immaculate, we loved the style of the loft suite as it was carming yet spaceous. highly recommended for couples that would like the peace and quiet of the country side, yet still able to enjoy all the wineries in the Barossa.

Very homey and wonderfully situated within the winery. Service was very good with lovely home-made breakfast and arvo tea provided. Far enough from the town to capture the country vineyard experience but close enough to be accessible to the Barossa Valley attractions.

Sophia and her family gave us the warmest welcome and were excellent hosts throughout our stay in the Barossa. Their sincerity in showing us the best of Barossa, e.g. in assisting us in selecting the best wineries and experiences during our short trip, even going to the extent of making reservations for us made our stay even more memorable. Beautiful home situated stra...

We escaped from a 5 star Hotel in Adelaide CBD to enjoy 3 days (2 nights) in Tanunda, Barossa Valley. The Dove Cote is a well kept gem! Clean, nicely maintained, with a unique soul. There is a small kitchen area and breakfast provision provided (eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, milk and juice). At the back there is a small beautiful garden with white doves... Great pl...

We had a really pleasant stay over two nights in late May. Staff were fantastic -could not have been more accommodating and friendly. We really appreciated an early check in so we could make a lunch booking at nearby Hentley Farm and were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and thoughtful touches in the cottage such as some regional produce, bottle of wine...

We stayed at goat square cottages late June for a weekend as a relaxing getaway. The breaky provisions were ample, the cottage warm, clean and simply decorated. Great value for money for the space we were allocated! It made talking my bf into a weekend getaway that much easier, especially with the spa bath. This was the perfect place to call home for our weekend in the...

What a super little find! Louise was friendly and welcoming and her communication prior to our arrival was excellent. The place was just up the road from the main street, a short walk to the features of Tanunda. Whilst basic, the accommodation is immaculate, and exceptionally priced. Thanks Louise, we'll be back!

The Barossa Cottages were a wonderful find and gave us the basis for a fabulous break in the Barossa. They were all we hoped for - handy location... Just a little bit out of town. The well stocked fridge meant beautiful breakfasts made fr local produce. The pot belly stove gave us a lovely warmth of an evening We couldn't have asked for more!

We booked this cottage for a weekend and it was on a gorgeous vineyard with space and near the local town. Our host left us farm fresh eggs, bacon and other assorted breakfast goodies from local food vendors giving us a truly authentic Barossa experience. Everything was in abundance from the towels to the late check out. Awesome value for money we would stay there agai...

I had a warm greeting when I arrived at Eagle Foundry. The room was what you would expect from a country BnB and had everything that I needed. There was so much food for the self cook breakfast. I had a good sleep. Love the old antiques around the premises. If you want to exercise the aquatic centre is just down the road and there is a great walking path around town.

Unfortunately my wife and I only had 1 night at this quaint B&B. Located on a vineyard and inside a beautiful country home. Well located with only a 5-10 minute drive to the local town that has a selection of eateries. Jo was a very accommodating host and provided excellent breakfast supplies for us to enjoy in the morning. Would recommend this B&B looking for somethin...

we were welcomed on arrival by the two beautiful dogs, cooper and rosie, and then by the owners, jane and julian. the suites are really suited to country living, and are beautifully furnished and had fresh flowers too! we had drinks in the spacious lounge in the main house before we went to dinner, and julian joined us. breakfast the next morning was sumptuous, and se...

Great little cottage just out of Angaston. (700 metres) to town. Well stocked with breakfast supplies and other little touches, wine, port, chocolates etc. Cottage is well equipped with electric blankets, wood burning fire and airconditioning. Also a spa for an afternoon soak. Well situated for Barossa touring and Angaston also has eating options. An around great stay...

the cottage was very clean and the proprietors were very friendly and helpful with any queries or requirements we had. the location is good for visits to the barossa valley or the clare valley areas and the park surroundings were very clean, quiet and relaxing.

The Quilters Studio is a quirky and rustic 'granny flat' style of accommodation. It is spacious, has a roomy sitting room come bedroom area, comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. The garden area is a pleasant place to sit and relax over a glass of wine or hot drink. Host David is friendly and easy to chat with . I would recommend other travelers to stay here.

The location of Lindsay House was perfect for some wine tasting, bike riding on the trail and for us to attend a function at a near by winery. Our only concern was that we were staying in the room downstairs and any movement by upstairs guests was very echoed and loud. The other guests were very considerate at night and removed their shoes which made a big difference....

This is a great place to stay in the Barossa. The unit is located very close to the Anguston shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The kitchen is well equiped and functional. There are good shared laundry facilities with a dryer if needed and an outdoor cloths line. The bathroom is functional with a spa and the shower is great. The only downside is the bed was like sleep...

We had a great stay at Marble Lodge, our host was a lovely lady who was very welcoming. Only a few minor changes would make this place ideal: 1) There really wasn't any wifi in the rooms despite being advertised. Our host offered to get us her 'dongle' in the absence of the wifi, but for us it was more trouble than it was worth. Also, there was a note in the room whic...

Really enjoyable stay, very welcoming hosts. Enjoyed the vineyard surroundings. Would have been nice to have an oven to go with hot plates. Also hosts could have informed us that heavy machinery was going to be in operation at 8a.m. for two mornings of our stay which woke us.
5-star hotels in Barossa Valley

The place was just gorgeous with a lovely patio and fully equipped kitchen. We love the coffee machine. The lovely host left us a beautiful bottle of Australian red wine with complimentary cheese, olives and crackers. This cottage is big enough for 6 personés or three couples to share the cost. We were just one couple and we only needed one bedroom, so this was very...

Cottage was within walking distance to the Main Street of Tanunda, with restaurants, cafes etc. Well fitted out kitchen also with a few essential food items (oil, seasonings etc, and drip coffee)which were appreciated. House was very comfortable, air conditioning was efficient and very welcome.

Thoroughly enjoyed out time in Barossa Valley, visited most neighbouring towns and sights, historical Seppeltsfield, Maggie Beers Shop and walked the streets, shopped and ate!!
So close to home but we forget how beautiful it is - you have to try a breakfast wrap, amazing - a cafe in Angaston Great little getaway, beautiful wineries, beautiful food
Great area to visit if you enjoy wines. Plenty of wineries, not too distant from each other. All staff in the eight or so wineries we visited where extremely friendly and helpful in explaining their wines.
We loved the Barossa, your spoilt for beautiful wineries and great restaurants, and beautiful scenery
The Barossa Valley was a lovely place to drive around and the countryside and old buildings at the Wineries were interesting.
Beautiful, relaxing, amazing food and wine. Would definitely recommend travellers to Adelaide make time to visit the Barossa.
Excellent area to visit.Easy to get around.Easy travelling from the Adelaide airport.Beautiful scenery with plenty of vinyards to visit.
Every corner on every road has a winery to visit. A lot of the smaller towns have less people living in them but not less the history.
Loved the area. It's beautiful, remote with good outdoor activities easily accessible and good wine readily available.
The Barossa is only an hour from Adelaide. It contains many historical buildings and winery areas and is home to Maggie Beer's famous 'farm store', where you can walk around the lake and see the beautiful birds in the aviary.
