Such a romantic and idyllic place! We even went on a cold season, but still enjoyed our time very much! Thermae Spa is such a delight! Will definitely come back in summer for more activities and sightseeing!
I am very glad that I came to see this very beautiful city. Would recommend this to everyone: Roman Bath Spa, Stonehenge, walking through the beautiful parks and city buildings.
Bath is a city to visit at any time of the year for its unique character and buildings. It is a beautiful city with all the buildings made out of white Bath stone.
There are a lot of things to do, visit the Little Theatre for a very good cinema experience. Bath Spa for a taste of history and the mineral water. The shopping centre is excellent and unlike a lot of towns now in the UK Bath is thriving. There is a lot of street theatre, not just in the summer but year round. If you are keen on sport go to see the Rugby near the river. A fun city with something for everyone.
It's a lovely place to walk around with a little bit of everything thrown in. Old, new, romance, nightlife, relaxation and everything in walking distance.
Should have researched it a bit more before we went so that we know where to go in the evenings rather than wandering around. :)
Take the City Sightseeing tour (Bus) to see all the sights in a glance on Day 1. On the next day travel to the sights that interest you.
Roman Baths and the Royal Crescent is a must see of course. We went in the Winter. But would be lovely to visit in the Summer. If you are an Austen fan visit the Jane Austen center. And if you are a book lover/collector find the Bookshop on the street in front of the Bath Spa train station. The basement has an amazing collection of second hand books. (George Bayntun) Great walks all around the city. Plan to stay for 3 or more days if you love walking. - Bath City walk - Sky Line walk (Prior park) Heard that the Guildhall Market is great. But didn't get a chance to visit. If you love historic buildings and beautiful walks, Bath city is one of the best places for a short break.
A beautiful place with beautiful building. The town is quite small which you can finish most of the sights within one day.
So many historic attractions and definitely worth taking a river cruise to get the history of the areas trade / history.
Lovely place, Nice people, Excellent Thai food in Sala Thai reataurant. Easy to visit many travel attractions on foot.
I will come back again
a comfortable town with spa/hotspring ( which is quite rare in UK). nice people, dining much cheaper than london
This city is absolutely massive romantic, you should stay there for honeymoon or that for pre-wedding shooting.
Bath is such a beautiful place and considering the number of tourist that visit Bath, Bath is kept very clean.
Bath is a small place and it is best to cover it on foot. Doing so will bring you to some very interesting sights like the Circus and the Royal Crescent. The Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths are a must visit. The architecture is amazing. Good place to learn some history as well.
Beautiful city, good Christmas market, lots nice shops and boutiques, Spa, lovely buildings, nice river views
Try the FREE guided walking tour which starts outside the Roman Baths. Gives a good feel to the city.
