"Honestly, I see great reviews & wonder why. Nightmare to get into our room as the place was completely closed up. If you are a bar & Restaurant with people staying specifically for that convenience, you should advise you will be closed - doesn’t matter if it’s a public holiday. After 2 hours of drama, finally go to room - aircon is on hot and buzzed all night (call manager who is too busy entertaining friends in said closed establishment to look - apparently it’s a standard aircon noise). Rooms neat & tidy, bed comfortable, in town so good location. Expensive for what it is - really wish we had spent the same money & stayed elsewhere."

"What a wonderful surprise the explorers motel was. This has to be best value for money accommodation in NSW let alone Bathurst. We were expremely happy with the quality and moderness of the rooms. Minor criticism would be the bathroom is on the tiny side of small but it was new and functional with a bit of manouvering. Overall would recommend the explorers to anyone and I will definitely be staying here again next time we're in bathurst. "
