"As the brand new 4 star hotel in Bengkulu, Mercure get the best view. You can get good panorama which is naturally the benefit of having short staycation in Bengkulu. Things to be fixed as soon as possible is the attitude of the staff. They have a big responsilibity as a worker in such a big name of Mercure Hotel. Please, get them trained to have better hospitality toward guests. Front office staff should be more polite and please, look carefully in the booking details of a guest. I booked a deluxe room with double bed for 3 nights through travel app. Special things that I request like large bed, high floor, non smoking room are already written in the booking details. When I checked in, I also repeated asking the front office staff to get things done properly. They gave me the key in the 8th floor back then. I was so disappointed when I found that the room had twin bed instead of large bed. I had to go back to the lobby to asked them in the front office to change the room. Instead of quickly replacing the room number, they insisted that I should be in the twin bed room because they said that I booked the twin room (they told me that without checking the booking details). I quickly showed them the booking details from my cellphone which was written a deluxe room with DOUBLE BED. They finally couldn't argue anymore and asked me to wait for the right room as written in the booking details. Then, I had to wait for almost 30 minutes without confirmation, let alone having a "welcome drink". Cause I waited too long, I gently remind them to get my room ready. After reminding them, I finally got the right room. In conclusion, get your staff trained properly especially "the hospitality". "
