"We have recently retuned from a weekend break at this hotel and would have no problem recommending it to others. It is well located for all Bilbao has to offer.Appropriately priced for the facilities available,it is clean and well maintained throught out. The proximity to the river and the board walks to the old town and the Gugg are a welcome benefit for a stay here."

"My family had a really good stay in this hotel (2 rooms). Staff was lovely and helpful. One night we asked by phone for a wine opener and we got it in less than 2 minutes. The waiter didn't accept any tip at all. Little things that speak themselves about the hotel and staff quality. The hotel is 10 mins walking to the Gugenhaim musseum, 20 mins walking to the old city and just 5 mins walking to some Michelin Starts restaurants... The only thing to say is that the Soccer Stadium is in front of the hotel. This is being renewed with a massive construction. the access to the hotel street is closed. We didn't know it (and we were not informed by the staff even calling by phone the day before). We spent a lot of time finding the entry to the hotel. There is no noise at all in the rooms due to the construction though. I would stay again if I go back to Bilbao. "

"We only had one night in Bilbao and this is really a great choice for our booking. The hotel is easy to get to from the train station by taking the Metro. The airport bus is also just a 5mins walk away. It's about 15mins walk away from the Bilbao Guggenheim Museum and if you walk further towards the river, one will reach the Old Town. I love the spacious room and the large super twin bed. It's a very comfortable hotel and the staff are really friendly. Wish I could stay in Bilbao longer so I could also enjoy the facilities at Ilunion Bilbao more!"

"I like hotel that doesn't use carpet and has simple design. This hotel fits the bill. Staff was nice. Since my booking didn't include breakfast, the check-in staff promptly asked me if I want to include breakfast for a discounted amount. Bilbao is not a big city and I just walked everywhere. Post office is right on the next block on the right. A few blocks down on the left is the department store. The only thing you need to be aware of is the few steps in the room. I put a napkin on the step so that I can spot it to avoid a mishap."
