Where to stay in Bintulu
Bintulu hotels & accommodations

Value for money, clean room, comfortable bed, good location. We drove into Bintulu on route back to Kota Kinabalu and decided to try the Bintulu Promenade where we have tried under the same hotelier chain in Kota Kinabalu and in Tawau. For the price that comes with breakfast it is worth the value where we are also pleased to learnt that the Promenade Hotel Chain is doi...

the parkcity is definitely the best hotel in bintulu and so far, the best hotel we have stayed at in the whole of borneo. after the mandarin oriental in kuala lumpur, it is the best hotel we have stayed at in malaysia. their attention to detail in the guest rooms is great; from the towels to the bedding, the toiletries and the slippers, everything was great. the ...

this was our first stay at jinhold apartment hotel in bintulu. the location is ok,with great enviroment - clean and spacious guest room, with good service from hotel staff. also hotel is providing free and secured parking space for hotel guest. hotel also offers reasonable price on their guest rooms.

I've been to Bintulu a few times and this time is the best stay so far in bintulu ( for me ). For around RM250 for two nights booked from Agoda with free one morning breakfast, it's a very good deal I found.I consider this hotel as a designer hotel because of the interior urban design, made me felt like home, a well decorated home! Beside that, the special part of this...

had arrived early, and was greeted with a smile by the receptionist. was able to check in early even through it was only 10.30 in the morning. that was a big relieve as we were up since 4 in the morning to make the trip. location is excellence and with the mall just connected to the lobby makes life much more easier. everything you need is just walking distance hence l...

This is a new hotel in Bintulu. I was staying in a suite, and it was quite spacious especially the living room and dining and not to mention the bedroom itself. The bedroom consists of one queen bed and two single beds, good for 4 person. The aircons provided are all split units. However, during my stay one of the aircon are not working, luckily the other aircon in t...

I booked this place needing to stay in Bintulu and did not do the research to check how far out of town it is. At least 45 minutes. Hence I would highly fecommend it for people wanting a resort style holiday and who have their own transport. It is not so suitable for people flying into the town and without their own transport and we had to cut our planned stay s...

We arrived late about 7pm and fortunately there are ain't many people during check in. The process is very convenient and efficient. The hotel is strategically located for dining, entertainment and work. There is a convenient shop beside of your hotel to get all your room needs and few restaurants for dining serving local foods and western. Few pubs and karaoke lounge ...

Stayed for 3 night because i had course at kidurong area. Overall is ok. Strategic location if u had course/work area Kidurong or Samalaju. You doesnt need to waste your time on the road(jammed). A lots of cafe nearest the hotel and an easy to find a food. Maybe in the future shall hire a security guard for safety(i had to left my wife and kid at the hotel),and for cu...

Once enter the hotel building, found aging room, with some unpleasant smell. Sofa were aging too. The mattress also very cheap quality and uncomfortable. Toiletries also very limited, with no bidet provided. However, this is big room and hardly to find in Bintulu if u having big family. Provided washing machine and dryer. Swimming pool was fine but access to it a bit ...

but this quaint establishment really exceeded my expectations. The room was neither too small nor oversized, and the bathroom was sized just right. I wouldn't mind crashing here again, room is cheap as chips. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Location isn't the best, but Bintulu town is only so big.

The hotel is newly renovated and a part of it is still under renovation, hence the noise during the day. First and second floors are served by a lift, though stairs are also an option through a separate entrance. The deluxe queen room was superb. Plenty of wall sockets and several buttons for different shades of lighting. Shower was hot with strong water pressure. Clea...

Stayed a night for a business trip. Read that it's the latest hotel in Bintulu and decided to try it out. Decor is modern with glass lifts and bathroom walls; so make sure you're comfortable with your roommate 😁 Plenty of parking outside and makan places across the road. Tried their in-house restaurant and was pleasantly surprised with the good food and friendly staff...

I expected the hotel to be just like a standard boutique hotel as it is considered cheap but i was wrong. Spacious room, clean bathroom, great location where you can easily access restaurants and shops. It has hairdryer (which usually cheap hotel doesn't have). Maybe can train the staff at reception counter to be more welcoming and friendly. Overall, i would highly rec...

Happy to stay in the hotel. the condition in the hotel is very nice and confortable. The receptionists are also friendly and treat the customer very politely. Those who want to stay hotel in Bintulu can consider for this hotel as its room is quite big and clean. can recomment for family trip to stay in the hotel.

One of the best place to stay in Bintulu if your work is within Kidurong area. They have an international standard of services together with awesome friendly staff. Totally worth every penny. The design of the hotel is extraordinarily creative. A definite place to stay whenever Im in Bintulu. Keep it up the good job!!!

overall was a pleasant experience. good location for business travelers. plenty of food in surrounding area - walking distance - 10-15 mins. well maintained and rooms are clean. but the aircon unit in my room had water leaking on to the floor.. made a complaint... not sure if anything was done but it was still leaking the following day. it's not a major concern for me ...

There were complaints about no hair dryers at other hotels from my female associates, and they were surprised that my hotel has it. There are no fridges , so you can forget about storing cold beers here. There was good wifi here but it tends to lag at night , i do not know why. There was ample space in my room but i do feel the dressing table should have been placed at...

Still my choice of place to stay when going to Bintulu city - plenty of parking with cctv view - plenty of eateries around - nearby shopping mall - considered as centered to go anywhere around Bintulu city - staff are very helpful and nice - room are adequately clean and comfortable

The room is average, new hotel so have to see if they maintain it or not. Hotel is very very noisy around pubs at night and the swiftlet houses nearby. It is located on the way to factories in Bintulu making it a good location but hotel guest must be able to bear with noises at night. There is no lift as well so try to get lower floors.
Cheap places to stay in Bintulu

The price for the room is dirt cheap but the hotel rooms are very very small and bathroom is to be shared. Suitable for overnight traveller and backpacker. There are many construction workers staying in that hotel. Not suitable for families. There are many ammenities surrounding this hotel. Food is very convenient.

My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay here. The decoration, ambiance, cleanliness and in-house facilities are perfect and definitely feel comfy and homey. It's nicely located at town area so you wont have much problem to look for a place to eat and to shop. Would totally recommend this place!

We had originally booked 3 nights but ended up staying a for a few extra as this ended up being a good place to rest after our adventures in nationals parks. The staff had limited English or Mandarin but were friendly and really did their best to communicate with us. The room was adequately clean, the beds were quite comfortable for the price. Regarding location, it got many parking lot which is suitable and reliable for those who driving car to Bintulu. This hotel don't have lift, only stairs so it is not really ok to those who got heavy or many luggage with. Generally, it hasn't much to offer on sight seeing other than the Chinese temple, but I do feels that they could promote Bintulu by drawing up river rides, visits to long houses, or pepper farming trial for short trips for businesses travelers.
not really got many place to visit... got a bird park there... for food i really like 3A gourmet restaurant.
Is a oil & Gas Town. Nothing much to visit around. Air pollution index is above 120% according to "WHO" world health organization.
We found 2 days plenty to find our way around Bintulu. Would definitely recommend an morning or evening stroll around the beach park of Tumbina.
To tell the truth, Bintulu doesn't have much attraction point, for travelers, it would be best to stay only one night in Bintulu.
Not a place for family holidays, was here for business trip, stayed about 2 weeks, limited entertainments and things to do's.
Nothing much in the town, except the Niah Cave. The morning market seems good as there is a lot of thing that they sell might be different.
GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,GOOD,
A Small Town where it is mainly catered for people working in the OIL and Gas industry. NOt much of a place to shop but the seafood is good with reasonable price.
very fast developed areas...even some places i cannot recognise anymore comppared to last time i was here
Bintulu is a place which is getting busier from time to time. U can enjoy its beautiful beaches under the morning sun.
This oil rich town does not have much to see if you don't go to niah cave. Only interesting place is the Bintulu market with a variety of interesting local produce.
There was nothing much to see, as Bintulu is not for tourism. The town is dirty with empty boxes strewn along the shops and pathways.
Bintulu is a small town but really alot of people staying over here...around the seaside also can see some small island.
A small and fast developing town - oil, port & industrial. Might have a lot of opportunities to start a business.
You can pay a visit to the Tanjung Batu beach, from there, you can drive straight up to Tanjung Kidurong (Shell SMDS, ABF, MLNG, golf club, expart area).
A small place, not much shopping mall.. But a lot of places for relaxation, sightseeing and for jogging purpose.
Bintulu is small town but they have good seafood restaurant. You can go to alot of bars around town.
Bintulu is an typical oil & gas town. Big houses, a lot of outsiders coming in for opportunities. friendly laidback town.
