"We booked online so our rate was good, about half what the hampton was across the street. The room was clean, the hot breakfast was okay. if you didn't use the stairs you wouldn't know that it looked like it had been weeks since they were vacuumed. We were in town due to a family illness. We recommended the Quality Inn to other family members as we filter in and out to visit, My cousin who doesn't do much online went to get a room there and was charged $40 more than the online pricing. So I strongly urge anyone to check an book online instead of in person"

Motel 6 Blue Springs

"Cons: (1) The front desk staff were uninformative, unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude. They were difficult to hear/understand, and they acted like I was an idiot for asking questions. (2) The room was advertised as having a microwave and refrigerator, but it had neither. (3) The bedding was torn, with holes, in several places and stained all over. (4) The bathroom fan turned on by itself constantly, and all throughout the night. (5) Based on all the signage ("Keep your door deadlocked and chained at all times" and etc.), it appears to be a very insecure motel/area. I spent the night sleepless, worrying about my vehicle and room getting broken into. NOT ideal for a solo, young, female traveler. (6) My room was supposed to be non-smoking, but smelt faintly of smoke. Pros: (1) Affordable nightly rate, and available for a last-minute booking. (2) Good pet policy: allows dogs and cats (up to two of each), and they waive the fee for the first night for the first pet."
