Bodrum hotels & places to stay

Me and my friends stayed at this hotel for two days one night. We came early in the morning and it was our opportunity as we can enter to our room since it was empty. We really loved our room because it was really clean and tidy. Plus, the owner Mr Muemmer is super kind and helpful and to be honest we feel like we have really become a real family :) The hotel location is extremely great. Just by walking for 3 minutes you can reach the beach and there is also a lot of restaurants nearby that. Just by walking distance from the hotel, you may reach to the town, Bodrum Kalesi, Otogar and many more! To be honest, if we come to Bodrum again, for sure we will stay at this hotel again! Hotel yang bersih, lokasi yang sangat menarik serta layanan yang sangat bagus :)

We stayed for 3 nights in this pleasant, centrally located hotel. The location is excellent for an easy walk into town. There are plenty of restaurants in the nearby street. We had a shown a couple of rooms on arrival despite the only choice on the website being a "twin room". We settled for a small room overlooking the pool. Our room although small, did have a good wardrobe and drawers to allow for the storage of luggage and clothes. Wifi was intermitment which can be a bit of problem in Turkey, we managed by sitting on our balcony. The bed was comfortable, despite the duvet only covering the bed with no overhang - a bigger size would be better for two people. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room serviced everyday. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was a typical continental/Turkish style, but I did have to ask for milk (they provide coffee-whitener). There was enough food, but I think if you wanted a little more, you only needed to ask the chef. The only downside to this hotel - is the nearby rooster which crows day AND night - starting at 2.30am!

I loved my four nights at Gulec! It is a simple, no-frills hotel with small, but clean rooms with windows that open on to a rustic charming garden. The bedsheets and towels were perfectly laundered and clean. The cleaning person everyday refilled soap etc and cleaned the bathroom. The room gets lots of fresh air and light. I was a bit sick so spent a lot of time recovering in the garden, which was the best part of my stay. I was very lucky to meet some very nice fellow guests in the garden. The owner is a nice helpful man, ask him for cruise trips etc. the staff is also very helpful and friendly. The location is very central five minutes walk from the otogarh. Many cafes nearby. I strongly recommend eating at Necmi Usta cafe, fresh inexpensive fish. The cafe across from the hotel opens early, you can get coffee there since the hotel serves breakfast at 8:30. If you get coffee before breakfast it is not included. Hotel is surprisingly quiet and you can sleep well. Great find!

The ideal location in the city center of Bodrum: 7 mins walk to the bus station, 5 mins to the coast and bar street, less than 10 mins walk to the public beach. Can easily come back always to take a shed from the heat of sun during the day! Enjoyed beautiful sunset and night views when we were here, including their awesome pool! The room is very quite and tidy. The shower place might be tiny but it's enough for us. Airconditioner and the mini-bar sometimes sounded a bit loud though in the middle of the night, but I still got my best sleep ever since I got to Turkey. The bed is very comfortable and they had cute dogs around. The host and the manager are so nice and full of manner! Najor ( I probably didnt spell her name correctly) did most talk and orientation, but I can also fee the hospitality and friendliness of the gentleman, though he didnt speak English. The hotel boasts an amazing setting and a geat breakfast! I will recommended it to all my friends who choose to visit Bodrum!!

A excellent hotel, great location ,EXCELLENT friendly staff nothing was too much trouble.Very clean in all areas lovely filling breakfast.When we arrived the desk staff on hearing it was our anniversary upgraded us to a room over looking the pool.Fabulous views,When planning our next trip to Bodrum this is where we will stay.We loved it a BIG THANK YOU ALL.Steve and Lesley Bristol England.

We decided to stay at Bodrum at the end of our trip around turkey to relax after having a busy three weeks. Getting there however it is very busy around the pool area full of English families. Firstly we were put in a room that was on the first floor where stools were located directly outside the window where people were playing pool- They did allow us to change rooms but were not too happy with us. They also play loud music and have events that go quite late into the night - which is great if you want that kind of holiday. My biggest thing was I was looking forward to lying by the pool however the english families put all their towels all over the beds from super early in the morning even though there was no-one there so I was unable to get a pool chair the whole time of my stay and ended up resorting to going to the beach. Although shout out to Ahmet who does the car parking carrying bags ect.Very lovely man very positive and very ready to help which was my standout for the hotel.

We had a lovely stay at Bac Pansiyon. It’s a 2 min walk from the Bodrum Castle with multiple shops and restaurants near by. We would recommend spending a little extra and getting the sea view room. It’s a gorgeous view right on the water. The breakfast was good and had a decent Turkish selection. Overall a lovely stay and we will definitely stay again if visiting Bodrum.

This was a great deal. I got it for $10 a night! I arrived late because my flight was delayed, I got in at 3am. The owner was awake and at the front desk. It took me a while to find the entrance that late at night, it is up a flight of stairs to the left of the hotel's sign. Very friendly owner. Room is spacious and has all amenities except shampoo. But, after 2 weeks and 4 hotels in Bodrum, I realize that none of the hotels have shampoo, so bring your own. This is a great deal!

We booked one night at Leka first since not sure how the hotel is going to be, turns out this is a little great surprise. The hotel manager generously gave us one of the best view room, from the terrace can see the amazing seaview over Bodrum city. The breakfast is great, chef prepares the fresh Turkish style breakfast selection, from crunchy olives, cheese, to fresh fruit. The hotel swimming pool is very nice too, we had a great stay. We stayed here for two days then came back a week later for another two days as we liked the staff and the general location of the hotel. While the maintenance of the hotel could be better (broken door handle, paint peeling in places) the breakfast filled the table and the staff were very friendly. It is a 10 minute walk to the main restaurant/harbour front, and if you take the back streets, you avoid the hill. But even around the hotel there are some nice 'non-tourist' restaurants and barbers and convenience stores. There is a free shuttle to the beach also so plenty of options.

This is a great hotel if you want to save up money and spend it in the beach clubs. It is also a great hotel for families. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to be in an OK location (you must have a car in Bodrum) and wish to use your car to go to the beach clubs. The beach right in front of the hotel is not private and it is usually so I didnt like it. There are many options in Bodrum to stay in. This one was OK. The service is good, they have parking and the location is good. However, we wanted something more lively where we could relax and be near the beach. Here you are near the beach but is not relaxing at all.

my husband, daughter, son-in-law, and i recently spent some time in turkey. we booked the manuela hotel on the advice of friends of theirs, an american gentleman and his turkish wife. they stay there when they vacation on the beach. the booking process was easy as was communicating with the hotel staff about our stay. we arranged for transfer from the bodrum airport all through email. the hotel staff also arranged for a car and driver to take all of us to ephesus and bring us back to the hotel. the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and spacious but not large. our daughter and son-in-law couldn't get into their room right away, so all of us were treated to drinks at the bar while they waited. the restaurant, on a terrace on the roof of the hotel was lovely. we had assumed that we would eat there once or twice and find other restaurants (there are lots of options along the beachwalk) most nights. we ended up eating there all four nights. the food was good and the service was excellent. the beach in front of the hotel is not wide and is taken up by loungers and umbrellas designed for relaxing. back from the loungers are divans and sofas with lots of pillows and umbrellas for more relaxing. noticing a trend? manuela is set up for relaxing and enjoying the water, the beach, the sea breezes and all of the amenities you could wish for. we hope to return someday!
