"If you're driving to Bruges/Brugge, parking can be a nightmare. At the Ibis Brugge Centrum, there's a municipal parking lot beneath the building, so parking's a breeze. It's a short walk from the hotel to all of the tourist attractions in the city. The rooms are small and plain, but clean and well laid out."

"A group of us decided last minute to spend a few days in Bruge over the NY period, and being last minute there were not too many accommodation options left. I read many reviews, and write this with mixed feelings. The lady at reception is lovely, very helpful and friendly. Location is great, very close to everything you want, but far enough away to step away from it all. Parking directly opposite is excellent. Key point I would make is to make sure you ask for the room you see in the images. The hotel renovated a few rooms and those are the ones depicted - we paid a large premium for the NY period, and called the hotel to ensure the room would be one of those depicted in the photos - they 'upgraded' us to these rooms, even though we had paid a premium for the NY period. The rooms weren't quite finished - one had air-conditioning vents not installed, a balcony door that wouldn't close, hot water issues, no iron etc. All in all, we'd stay again if no other options available, its 'OK'"

"We had a superior classic style double room, with heigh ceilings and a chandelier. In the 17th century this was one of the palace’s of Charles II, king of England. Spacious room which was very convenient for my mother who is 88 and uses a walker. Excellent location in the historical centre of Bruges with the Burg and Grote Markt within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Copious breakfast buffet. Friendly staff and good service (providing a softer pillow and a late check-out because of my mother’s high age). Really appreciated this. The parking garage is beneath the hotel, expensive, but for us the better option. Overall a great experience! The only thing I missed was a terrace but I assume this not an option."

"Snuffle hostel is probably what you have as the most convenient as for de location for the price you pay in Bruges. The personnel is friendly, the breakfast is quite good and it is clean for an hostel that big. On the downside, the beds are not comfortable and it is noisy with the sound of doors closing. Bring your earplugs. Nonetheless, I recommend. "
