"This lovely old hotel is situated in a prime location, El Centro, with very good access to major points of interest, many within walking distance, close to the theatre district and near the obelisk. The hotel has old brass hand railings which are so charming and the daily complimentary breakfast is very filling. I would recommend this hotel for anyone going to Buenos Aires."

"We booked this hotel via agoda.com The room I was given was in the front on a busy street and it was quite noisy. I called the desk and asked for a change of rooms and they said impossible. I then went back to the desk and asked again. This time I was given a bigger room with 2 beds on the side of the building which was quiet. The man working the desk seems disinterested in helping anyone. The other staff were better. The workout room is small and the bike does not work. The treadmill is good and the weight machine is good. The included breakfast was quite good compared to other hotels in Argentina that I stayed at. The servers were also nice. There was cereal, breads, cheese, ham, croissants, lots of fruit, yogurt, orange and grapefruit juice, and even a few deserts. The room was clean, but outdated, but they are renovating. The bed was not that great, but acceptable. The bathroom was nice. There was adequate storage, 2 chairs and a desk. The curtain did a great job darkening the room. The first night was very quiet. The next two were noisier due to a screaming kid in the neighboring room. The superior rooms are better. I would stay here again because it is pretty cheap. If you are willing to spend twice the amount there are much better 4 stars to stay at in the area."

"When checking in, the lady wanted 50 USD p.Night for cleaning of the apartment. That’s almost the amount we paid for the night. I refused, checked also my booking and nothing was mentioned about that. Also tried to make a new booking to see, if that is mentioned anywhere, but nothing. Interestingly she later didn’t insist. Seemed clearly a scam to make some extra money. Never again !"

"Walkable from Retiro and Madero bus stations, ferry port, and subway stations. Clean and spacious room with 24 hour building security and reception. The provisions in the rooms are minimal- we stayed for 3 nights and we’re provided two bath towels, shower gel and shampoo. Our booking provided an inaccurate address (910 instead of 920)."
