Best hotels & accommodations in Buenos Aires

This wine-themed, contemporary-style hotel is an excellent value. Rooms are spacious, clean, nicely designed, and comfortable. WiFi routers had to be reset daily, but otherwise the signal was strong and reliable and freely accessible. The room has its own wine bar, with about two dozen different bottles to choose from, which looked well-selected and reasonably price...

In a great location for accessing all the main sites and the happy hour deals are great value, but beware. We booked and paid in full in advance thinking this would ensure the best price. It did not! The rates by the day we arrived were less than half what we paid, and we should have cancelled and rebooked to save money.

I recently booked the intercontinental BA for a 3 night stay. Unfortunately prior to my check-in the water tank had exploded and the hotel was left with no hot water and complete shut down of some of the facilities on the main floor. The gym on the main floor and restaurants were affected. The situation could have been handled better. Not having hot water and s...

Had the best three days ever. We were only in Buenos Aires for three days and relied on the team for recommendations and arrangements. From picking us up in the airport, booking a small guided tour, best tango show and exchanging dollars at a competitive rate, there is nothing negative I have to stay. Thank you so much! I should also say that the breakfast service ...

Located at the fashionable area Puerto Madre, which is safe and clean. Conveniently located not far from the major sighseeing highlights of Buenos Aires. Also close to the national park, which is great for running or bicycling etc. The Hotel is suberb, as it offers excellent service to a reasonable cost. Recommend the Spa / health club as well.

kudos to diana and her co-workers. very friendly staff and diana approved a late check out for 4 p.m. for our 2 days of stay in buenos aires. my wife and i enjoyed our stay at room mate carlos hotel-don't get fooled by the name room mate. old building but is quite hi tech and very well managed hotel we will return for our stay at this hotel on our next visit to buen...

Hotel was great, huge comfortable bed, breakfast included eggs and fresh fruit. The parking situation needs to be improved. We were directed to park in the car park next door. Normally in Buenos Aires, they take your keys and park the car for you. Not here. We were told there were reserved spaces for Dazzler guests on the ground floor and on the 3rd basement. They wer...

we really like the way the hotel is decorated, with wooden floors, scratch paint and high ceiling. First we were given a room on the 1st floor but the bathroom was a bit small so we asked for another room on the 2nd floor. Breakfast is to be taken outside, in a restaurant across the street. Even if inconvenient at first thought, the breakfast was good and one can eat a...

Okay value for money. But overall bad design, LED lights over bed are extremely striking but if you off the LED, the room becomes too dark. Bath room a little too small whereas room itself have decent space and design. Air condition cannot be controlled and the room becomes very warm during winter time. I had to open the windows but you can hear noises due to echo from...

We requested double bed they gave two single beds. We came back to the same hotel after 3 days and did make same request. At the check in time they said kitty will cost extra$15 for double bed! Finally they did give but there was no tea kettle in the room.

My friends and I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, the excellent service which extended throughout the entire stay was on offer. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable (their beds are the kind where you'll wake up wanting to spend more time in) with nice boutique hotel decor. Location is fantastic (in the Palermo area) where restaurants / bars and...

The staff was very nice and helpful. The apartment was clean. However, the apartment windows are on the ground floor directly next to the footpath. People walked past all night long yelling, laughing etc. Cars, rubbish trucks emptying the bins outside made it almost impossible to sleep. This noise continued all night, every night. The back door did not close. We re...

I stayed at Pulitzer twice in the space of a month. The first time was for 4 nights, the second was solo for 2 nights. The hotel itself is modern, chic and well presented. The staff are helpful, english speaking and not much fault could be found during our/my stay. A few very small issues, like extra hooks in the bathrooms for towels would be great, but overall a lovel...

It was good until check out. They staff was giving me an additional bill for adjustment on room rate due to the USD fluctuation. I paid one month in advance, in local currency, and upon check out I was told because my roommate was in USD I had to pay for additional fee. I asked why that is so, was told it is done in all hotels in Argentina. Small amount but I was up...

The building is incredibly beautiful. The room is luxurious and fully equipped with air conditioner/heater, modern T.V and an incredibly comfortable bed. The towels are softer, fluffier (and newer) than at The Intercontinental Spa! The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful and easily contactable. The place is SPOTLESSLY clean. The location is perfectly situa...

This boutique hotel is neither too small nor too large. Staff is friendly and personable. Design is well thought through and elegant. I booked 2 rooms, one of which got upgraded to a suite. Standard rooms are rather smallish, but the suite was ideal. Though small, the rooftop terrace is pleasant in the heat of summer. The hotel's location in Palermo is ideal, within wa...

The hotel is in a nice location and fairly easy to get to from the airport. You best bet is to take the bus that will drop you off at the city centre then take a taxi from there as the price from the airport is pretty high. The pool doesn't really look the pics in the review and if you happen to go on a Sunday it will be very busy as nothing else is open and there is...

Medium sized hotel located on one of the main streets in Buenos Aires with many theatres. Close to florida shopping area and Luis Borges Cultural Center. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, checking in and out without problems. Large amount of TV channels to choose from when staying back in the hotel room. Fast WiFi internet available against a small fee. Bathroom ...

When i got there, the staff told me that the reservation info they had didn't match my date on my voucher. They could not give me a room in the beginning. However, the staff was very helpful. She was calling and found out that it was a mistake from the central agent. She suggested that i might stay in another hostel and dealt with the issue with Agoda afterwards. I did...
Cheapest hotels in Buenos Aires

Clean, goos wifi, good breakfast (there’s fruit and yogurt, not just the tiring bread routine commonplace elsewhere); however I booked a bed in the 4 bed female dorm for $8USD but they charged me $18USD when I showed up - which they said was their standard rate. I was only there for a night, otherwise I’d have had to have gone elsewhere - that’s an expensive shared dor...

When arriving, the stuff helped me with whatever i needed. the ambient is homey and young. The toilet are always clean and the kitchen as well. The beds are comfi, and my room was cleaned daily. I had hot water in the shower, good shower. Strong wifi. Great location, one of the best places ive stayed in

It was the second time i was in Buenos Aires but the first time in this hostel, i stayed in a 4 dorms and everything was perfect, the beds are very comfortable, each room has its own bathroom and shower (separated), the staff is excellent, speaking very good english and very helpful, you even have free walking tours in the different parts of Buenos Aires with guides (s...

It is a nice place in the Heart of San Tellmo, walking distance to the heart of Buenos Aires. It is a simple backpackers place with beds, WC's, showers, Ac and a common kitchen. Everything is as clean as possible and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Good value to stay a few nights. Chris from Germany

Stayed at The Koten for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and their english was great. The hotel is in a good location to easily walk to the metro and to explore the city on foot. Palermo is a lovely area and there are some nice bars and restaurants within walking distance.

I had a great stay at Hostel Suites Florida - Airport transfer with a shuttle bus was effortless, the dorm rooms were spacious and clean and the communal area a great place to relax and socialise. The breakfast was great also and you can´t beat the location, right on Florida Avenue. Great wi-fi and computer area. The staff are all super friendly and very helpful (Anabe...

The third hostel in Buenos Aires we stayed in. The breakfast is basic, rooms likewise, but then this was almost half the price of the others. Staff have been great - a family running the place by themselves, they have been nothing but accommodating: have booked activities for us, knowledgeable about cost effective fun, moved us with no issue into a private room when ou...
Amazing thanks to Rita! We ran into some problems while in Buenos Aires and she was there too make everything better. Will go above and beyond to make the best of your stay. In all my years travelling I have yet to meet a better staff, especially this lady, she is a god-send. The other ladies working were also extremely friendly and helpful in regards of touring and ge...

Location was reasonable and i liked lounge area. Staff were friendly and helpful tho some spoke no English at all, meaning communication not always easy. Beds terribly uncomfortable - like bricks. Bathroom not so clean. Staircase awkward to walk up and lift seldom operates which isnt great for luggage. Hot water took forever to work. Wouldn't recommend. But nice staff!...

The first night was not too good as I was given the last single room on the roof top; what worried me was the window could not be closed and someone could get in the room. I made a complaint and the following day I was offered a better room with a fan, a double bed and a single bed ( even though only I stayed in the room) I booked this hotel as a single room with hare...

The hostel has strict security measures; one needs to press a bell to be let in through two doors; you could take a very old lift or walk high staircases to reach the reception; then you take a lift for 2nd and third and 4th floor for your room. The lift is a museum piece and is worth your examination. Brakfast is good for offering all kinds of fruits and fruit juices. ...

I loved the black-and-white-striped wall and the decor was excellent. The lady on the afternoon/night shift (she is the manager?) was very kind and tried to help us every time we passed the front desk. She arranged the reservation for the tango show for us and it was nice. The van came to pick us up at the hotel. Everyone was kind and helpful except one young girl i...

The only good point about this hotel is the location, it is right in the centre of the city. However, although the bed was clean and comfortable, the rest left a lot to be desired. It had a communal fridge for guests to store perishable items in. I used it and my items were stolen. After remonstrating with the owner, who lives in room 1, he replaced them.

The ambiance at this hotel is very nice. Neat little enclosed, open air patio and lots of fun art around. The staff was GREAT. The price is very reasonable. The breakfast had fresh bakery offerings every day, with lots of selections. The room was large and had everything we needed. The only thing I would say is if you don't like cigarette smoke then do not get a roo...

This lovely old hotel is situated in a prime location, El Centro, with very good access to major points of interest, many within walking distance, close to the theatre district and near the obelisk. The hotel has old brass hand railings which are so charming and the daily complimentary breakfast is very filling. I would recommend this hotel for anyone going to Buenos A...

the hotel is good for a short stay. clean, and the wifi was good and free service. the location is close to the subway, but the neighborhood is not good for night activities. the staff was very helpful, and they spoke good english. breakfast was very basic, with rolls, fruits, coffee, and scramble eggs, and cold cuts and cheese. enough to get you going for the day.

Place feels like a home stay. No obvious signs at entrance so pay attention to unit number and press on the door bell. Located near metro and bus station for travelling around. Walkable distance of about 15mins to san telmo market. Very friendly owner who would communicate via google translate if you cant speak spanish (like us), if her friend/family member is not aro...

This well-known boutique hotel is centrally located in downtown Buenos Aires, the front desk staff are very helpful(just ask for a map of the city, which shows the location of the hotel). The Continental breakfast is reasonable, although choice is limited, and the free internet provided access to email-which was very useful as international telephone calls are expensive in...

This is a good place with little apartments right in the heart of Buenos Aires. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from a Florida Street and an Obelisk. Right on the doorstep one can catch a bus to La Boca, a true must-see place in Buenos Aires. On the downside the hotel apartments are not very well equipped. Although there is a little kitchenette with a microwave,...

We loved the hotel. Its location is perfect, in front of the one of most beautiful square in Buenos Aires, the Sain Martin Square. It is a lovely place to walk and to begin your walking throw the Florida street, very nearby. The rooms are silently and the bed very confortable. In the breakfast room and in the suites you have the view of Plaza Sain Martin. it is lovel...

The hotel was clean tidy secure and in a central great position. We were at the back of the block so the view was of the building behind but who cares when staying in a city like Buenos Aires. it was quiet, huge comfortable king size bed, tv, great wifi , Highly recommend this hotel.

Nogaro Hotel is in the center of Buenos Aires, just a few minutes walk from the Plaza de Mayo. It is in at a walking distance to 3 subway stations, which was very convenient to get around the city. The room was clean and comfortable. We especially liked the breakfast, which had variety of fruits, bread, and deserts. The front desk staffs were very helpful and arranged ...

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. All the amenties you can easy found. All the importand landmark is within few Km walking distance. We booked this hotel via agoda.com The room I was given was in the front on a busy street and it was quite noisy. I called the desk and asked for a change of rooms and they said impossible. I then went back to the desk and asked again. This time I was given a bigger room with 2 beds on the side of the building which was quiet. The man working the desk seems disint...

its probably was 4* hotel once upon a time,-- mid 60s-70s.. since then it was complete rattled, very poor maintenance of place, laundry was not work for a week- just close. furniture and bath has not been change since day one. aircons doent work well (change two rooms)-- with full gear still keep room at 30C (and it was not extreme hot weather). everything look old ...

My negative thoughts on arrival to my room were soon put to bed by the extremely friendly and supportive staff. The location and close proximity to places of interst of sites of national importance made up for some of the tired appearances of the hotel. Any negative aspects of the hotal were more than compensated by the more positive aspects of location and friendlines...

The Hotel had a good location near the heart of Buenos Aires. The hotel is maintained in excellent condition, with friendly staff at the desk. The only blemish was the arrangement of a city tour through the staff and after the tour we were not dropped off at the hotel, where we were picked up, but at a location at least two Km away. As a result due to language proble...

i had very big difficulties with the blockage of my visa card by my bank (it was done outomaticaly for my security as soon as i live my country). the staf of the hotel was very kind. they helped me by making a lot of calls for me, so the problem was sorted out and i could pay my bills. i,m very, very thankful. there is one very bright person on the reception - he ...

I was fairly dubious when booking the room, as it was very cheap. When I arrived at the hotel, the friendly staff helped me with my luggage into a room that far exceeded my expectations. It's definately not 5 star material, but for the price you get a more than adequate lodging. There was even fruit on the table for me. The staff were always happy to help with any quer...

The hotel is well located and the rooms at the front have a great view over the very wide Avenue Julio. The breakfast selection was excellent, but on a couple of occasions there were no clean tables to sit at - maybe they were a bit short staffed - it got sorted, so it's really a minor issue.

My wife and I resided at this stately hotel late March 2019 for a few days. We were provided a very comfortable room which had plenty of space, and was very quiet. The hotel was conveniently situated with plenty of luxury boutiques nearby. In terms of guest management, concierge was most helpful in assisting us with all bookings we required, and my wife and I defini...

The hotel is located in a convenient location for shopping in some of the better shops in Buenos Aires. It is also conveniently located for city tours which we did on foot & there are a couple of excellent restaurants within 100mtrs of the hotel. The staff were extremely efficient & very friendly compared to other Four Seasons Hotels we have stayed in in Europe.

Friendly staff. The only things that were a disappointment was going into the room and finding two BIG stains on the bedspread and the curtains were hand drawn and were marked there and the block out curtains had a few holes in it that let in light and showed up the holes. The breakfast was in a lovely room and would have used the pool had we been there more than a nig...

It was a very nice hotel. Lobby was beautiful. Staff friendly and went out of their way to help answer all of our questions. It was close to shopping and walking distance to some sights. The hotel is right around the corner from the famous cemetery where Eva Peron is buried. There are many restaurants in the area both high end and economy. I would highly recommend this...

I recomend this hotel to everyone. It is just amazing. It´s probably one of the best hotel´s that I´ve stayed. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is amazing and the location is just perfect. I wanna go back to Buenos Aires and I´m definitely gonna stay at this hotel again

We loved the hotel. It´s cosy, very lovely room with the bath in the center of the room - different but cool idea. It´s near the best restaurants and bars. The cementry is not too far away too. Room has free champagne all day and night. If the bottle is empty you get a new one straight away. Room was always clean.

Claridge Hotel-Buenos Aires june 13-june16 2019 I have just stay this 3 nights in this hotel First the positive points: after reserving on line I requested that the room be ready at 12 noon it was just as I requested, a very wellcomme reception after a very long flight (24 hs+) well done! Reception desk crew very helpful with explinnations and directions and always wit...
Traveler impressions of Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires is a comfortable city that is easy to get around. Things start early and restaurants are open till after midnight as they usually have a break from 4 to 8pm.
A city that needs to be discovered. On the surface- not as friendly, but once you dig in, worth your while.
the city is immense with lots to do and see. I enjoyed the restaurants and clubs. I thought the people I met were very helpful and nice with perfect advice
modern city then the south part of Argentina.BUT ppl there is unfriendly, need take care of yr belongings.
Buenos Aires is a very cosmopolitan city with plenty to see and do. I was there in winter and enjoyed the sights and attractions, but I can imagine it would be even better in Spring or Summer.
People are very uptight and every second person (locals and officials from Tourist Information centre) met advised to hold on to my camera and bags at all time or not to go here and there.
fantastic historic city, main city not much to do except enjoy and walk around. local designer stuff.
A fascinating city which relies heavily upon its historical past. Great public transport allowing visitors to easily get around to enjoy the culture.
Good very good night life till morning 7 am on weekends, friendly people. But not thta great for shopping , cothes , food are costly.
Buenos Aires is a big city and whilst transport is good travellers would be well advised to plan their itinerary carefully before embarking on the exploration of the city.
Buenos Aires offers a wealth of history, shopping and excellent food options. It's a city that's best explored by foot and by taxi.
Buenos Aires is the place to visit not for the sights but to learn about the people's way of life. It is a definite must to watch a Tango Show, Eat Argentinian steak and go to an Argentinian Bar/Club.
its a nice city reminds me alot of big cities in Spain. easy to go around you can ren bikes or electrical moppets.
Beautiful city but might be dangerous at night. Better to have local show aroud. Not stay along at night.
Buenos Aires is a great city to be visited - easy to walk around, tons of things to do, friendly people and amazing food.
Too expensive. Really bad taxis. Public transit is good. Interesting place but, in world standards, disappointing.
A large busy city . Enjoyed their tango show + dinner. No problem travelling on their metro system. As with most city .
I surely can recommend Buenos Aires. It is a very lively and sparkeling city. It is easy to travel with the metro.
BA is an awesome city and you need at least a week there as there is so much to do. I recommend seeing recelotta cometary, la boca, palermo, going to the football at river plate,
the city is very crowd, no trees in the downtown, and many the homeless guys, travelers should avoid being alone in the evening.
Very interesting city , lots of history , lovely old buildings , beautiful tree line streets, nice shopping areas , good restaurants
BA is a great city to walk around in. Be careful if you want to eat dinner early. Check out the sometimes "unusual" restaurant opening/closing times.
Be careful with your belongings. Purse stolen 2nd day into holidays. Should have been more aware. Please take care.
Buenos Aires is a very large city. I liked the tango shows and the cemetery and the food too. People are friendly.
We visited Buenos Aires in June and it was freezing. You will need a heavy winter coat and scarf and gloves.

More about Buenos Aires
Puerto Madero boasts some of the best upscale hotels in downtown Buenos Aires. Removed from the main sightseeing area, this district is best suited for business travelers and tourists who prefer sunsets over the port to rousing nightlife at their hotel's doorstep. The waterfront restaurants in this part of town are of particular note.
Recoleta is another excellent accommodation district with its lovely colonial architecture. Even the district's name ignites the imagination, and it's impossible to walk the streets of Recoleta without being reminded of the glamorous days when Buenos Aires was dubbed the 'Paris of South America'. Exclusive boutiques and luxury hotels abound in this area.
The range of activities offered by Beunos Aires is both wide and surprisingly varied. The tango was born here, so visitors flock to exhibition halls and dance studios to watch or take lessons. The local dining scene benefits from the region's world-class wine and beef industry, and the cosmopolitan cultural scene includes great museum and theaters.
