"Fortune Buriram Hotel is situated a little way outside the centre of town along one of the main highways, close to Big C. Despite it's slightly inconvenient location the hotel is very good in most other ways and it's hard to find any faults. The rooms are a good size with modern facilities and comfortable beds. The bathroom is also nicely equipped with a spacious shower, although there's no bathtub. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff speak good English and are very helpful. There's a gym, an outdoor swimming pool, and they have a large car park right in front of the hotel. There's also a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel. The food menu in the restaurant is fairly basic, but what they do have is good. The buffet breakfast is very acceptable."

"Great little hotel in Buriram. Staff are very well trained and speak excellent English, rooms clean and tidy, swimming is massive and clean. There is also a well equipped gym with machines and free weights. Breakfast was basic, but enough to fill you up. My only slight complaint is they should provide a kettle in the room to make a coffee or tea in the morning."

"This is by far the best hotel in Prakhon Chai, possibly the best in Buriram and maybe even in the entire Issan region. Very nice rooms, staff are great (even with many lacking English skills, but that is to be expected in Issan). Breakfast was very good, dinner was a bit less, the Issan franchise restaurant in front of the hotel is actually a better option. Great location for a daytrip to Phanom Rung and Muang Tam"

"The room was great for the price, and the cleaning staff was friendly and thorough. It was kind of trying for me as a foreigner unable to speak Thai. The hotel itself served no food, so I had to fend for myself. That involved walking about 600 meters to the nearest 7-11 and even farther to find a cafe that had a cafe with pictures on the wall, so I could point to something to eat. It would have been helpful for the hotel to provide foreign guests with a menu of dishes written in English and Thai that a guest could bring with him to any number of the small food shops right near B2 and point to something on the menu and ask the cooks to prepare it. The Thai people in Buriram are incredibly friendly to foreigners and eager to please, but finding someone who speaks English and can help out is hard once you leave the more popular tourist cities. "

"the jintana seemed like a more up market hotel compared to whats available in buriram. mainly because it is fairly new.the panorama was a bungalow type cement structure set around a big pond giving that resort feel.infact all the different types of rooms are all located around the pond. although the panorama was a little smaller than expected, its greatest features was its 42” samsung lcd on the wall and new air conditioning. the breakfast was nothing to talk about as options weren’t available and you just got one fried egg, 1 piece of toast and some sausages and ham but it was included in the price.so they could probably do better on that aspect as the hotel is at least double the price of other hotels in the region accept for one which at least has a pool.the dinner menu was very cheap and food was good.there is also a very cheap restaurant near by. there was only one english speaking staff member on the day but he was extremely helpful.the hotel is located next to a small forest so there's a lot of bugs and small creatures at nights around the hotel.its tucked away about 200 metres inside a street away from the main road and 400 metres away from the main bus depot.we paid 60 baht for a tuktuk but it would be handy to have an agoda printout ready as nobody speaks english.i probably saw about 10 westerners all up in the city of buriram throughout my stay.overall we were pleased and will be back. "Located near the Buriram F.C. complex and racing circuit so expect noise from both if there are events at either venue. A variety of rooms available at the resort and hotel. The grounds are extensive measuring almost a half kilometre from the entrance to the far boundary. Swimming pools are excellent and well maintained. That said, the resort side wooden pool furniture needs maintenance or replacement. The cleaners work hard to keep the rooms and outside areas clean. Breakfast is mainly a large variety of Thai food which suited us although westerners can have the usual toast and eggs/jam if they cannot eat Thai food. The staff here are excellent keeping all areas clean and tidy. Prices fluctuate depending on events at the racing circuit. Overall we were impressed by the resort and will definitely return. "

"I stayed at the Phanomrungpuri Hotel a few weeks after it opened in February 2011. Only the lower two floors were opened at this time however all other facilities were functioning but there were very few guests. The hotel has an imposing entrance within a large garden area and plenty of secure parking for guest’s cars. There is an outdoor swimming pool adjacent to a small restaurant, which was open throughout the day but had a rather limited menu. The hotel has a boutique style with elegant fittings in the lobby and bedrooms. State of the art elevators are available to each floor. I stayed in a 3-bed family room, which had large screen flat-TV, mini-bar, large shower area and small balcony. The Phanomrungpuri is the only 4-5 star hotel in the Nang Rung area located 1.6 kilometers north of the town center. It is well placed for travelers wishing to visit the wonderful Hindu Temple complex at Phanom Rung being only 25 kilometers away. The hotel had no credit card facilities at reception during my stay, but I suspect this was due to only just opening. I recommend this hotel for travelers visiting the Buriram area. "

"Good place. Good price. Close to the bus station. I decided to stay a couple more nights and the price went up slightly. i found out this is common practice for the local hotels in Buriram when a local football match is on. I was given coupons for the buffet breakfast in the hotel opposite. I would definitely stay here again. "
