"Stayed for 1 night at the palace hotel and had a very pleasant stay. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds, beautiful clean, fresh linen, fabulous views over the town of Buxton and the position is f the hotel is very central to all amenities, the station is 2 mins walk and the town. If there was one thing that let our visit down I would say that it was lack of staff in the breakfast room, waiting for tables due to them not been cleared after people had finished. All in all we had a lovey stay and would book this hotel again and would recommend it to family and friends "

"Our stay at the Lee Wood Hotel was brief but very pleasant. Staff were very friendly and it helped of course to receive an upgrade. My only complaint is that we could possibly have been reminded that our Agoda Booking was on a room only basis. The cost of breakfast came as an unwelcome surprise, but really that was our fault. The strength of the hotel lies in its staff and its quiet location away from the centre of the town of Buxton. "
