Plain simple basic clean. Does what it says in providing bed for the night right at the start of Snowdon Ranger path. No fancy extras here. Dont expect anywhere to plug you phone in or lights by beds etc. This is YHA as it used to be..... not like penypass after its £1.8m investment to gentrify it... this is old school basic. Want that and you will be happy.

Although the location was not that easy to find, it offerred a very scenic view of the mountains. The clean and comfortable room was a wonderful welcome after a long drive from London. The kitchen was also well-equipped for guests to prepare their own meals. Definitely, good value for money.

Fantastic facilities were included in the price. A very comfortable hotel, lovely character in the building. Several comfortable lounge areas to sit and relax. Good size bar and dining room. Bedroom comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Plenty of on site parking, and a short walk to attractions. Good breakfast, only downside for us was no croissants!
