"Group of 6 in light aeroplane from Royal Aero Club, Perth, touring, found this Motel online, booked and paid online while in the air. Easy walk to motel from Carnarvon aerodrome, where our plane was parked for the night. ( most aerodromes so are crazy far out of town ). Modern, clean facilities, well stocked with tea, coffee, milk, soap, shampoo, iron, hairdryer etc. Upmarket evening meal and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. They even made us special Carnarvon banana splits for desert.... WA tourism at its best ! We will be back !"

"Dinner in the restaurant was excellent despite it being very quiet. The staff were friendly. We walked into town and found a few bars though the nicer ones seemed to shut at 10. We had to stay in Carnarvon to break up the journey and, following other people's comments, were pleasantly surprised with it and would suggest it as a nice stop over for others. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the centre and looks a little tired but the room had been refurbished and had lovely big bed. The bathroom was a bit dated but usable. I would stay here again and eat in the restaurant."

"The staff are very nice but we made the mistake of paying upfront for 2 nights. The town was almost fully booked so we didn't have much choice and got one of the few remaining rooms late in the day. The carpet had dirty boot prints and was generally grubby. I didn't feel I could walk barefoot on the floor. The unit came with a kitchen and 2 hotplates but no cooking utensils, cutlery or crockery apart from mugs for the free tea and coffee and 2 mismatched glasses with 1 teaspoon. It appears the rooms are mainly occupied by people working on the mines as they provide take away lunches on request for morning pick ups. I would hope that there are nicer rooms available when the hotel is not so busy."

"The villa (or chalet) was one of the best we have stayed in as there was lots of space in the bedroom and bathroom, it was modern and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and there is the security of a boom gate at the entrance. It's not on the main road, so there's a benefit of less noise. I would definitely recommend this caravan park in Carnarvon."

"Liked my private en suite room- comfortable bed, fridge,TV, air con. But given that the (not cheap) deal that was offered included ‘linen’, and tea & coffee making’ I was disappointed that the latter was not available in the room and that ‘linen’ did not include a towel. No soap either. But I coped, as you do! It’s low season right now and so the place is nice and peaceful, and the very nice pool virtually empty. Great location for going to view nesting turtles and the coral reef with all its amazing sea life. "
