Where to stay in Cavtat
Cavtat hotels & accommodations

Great hosts, comfortable apartment, beautiful view. We stayed here instead of Dubrovnik because of value for money but loved Cavtat and were grateful to have accidentally discovered this gem of a little town. Perfect holiday. Only issue was having to pay in cash. (EUR or HRK) which was a hassle only because we didn’t bring enough cash and bank withdrawal fees are high ...

This place is definitely a go - friendly owners, fridge in the room, working (!) wifi (these days most places get wifi but it not always work..), nice terrace. The only thing i was missing was a wine-glass to enjoy the wine there. Cavtat lies under landing corridor so if u r an airplane buff, u get a nice view of landing crafts. If u r not, there are just a few flights...

Property is a beautifully restored old building with lots of character. It’s in the pedestrian part of town, so you need to leave your car in the town car park (60 kuna -24 hrs) Owner was very welcoming. We sat over a glass of wine at check in and got loads of info on the history of the house. Apartment was lovely, clean and very spacious.

We booked the superior double (top floor) which have the best view from the balcony. The staff are wonderful - we got the free transfer to the airport. The breakfast was very good. The location is about 5-10 mins walk from the Main Street which is perfect.

I had an apartment with a kitchen/living area and a bedroom (not huge, but would be fine for 2 adults 1 child). This isn't a hotel, and it also isn't a 'fancy' villa, and is priced accordingly. The room hadn't been used for a while, so it was a bit damp and musty smelling, and also it is not non-smoking and there is a residual smoker's odor. Plus, while there is s...

I know this area well as I am originally from Croatia and have stayed in cavtat in few hotels.Hotel has hardly been renovated and is way overpriced.I would not bother staying here there are much better hotels in area and its way overpriced at over £200 a night.

Booked rooms with breakfast and lunch. Hotel was very clean and staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Direct access to beach and the buffet spread was amazing with a great variety of sea food, pasta, and all kinds of meats with complimentary beer and wine which was unlimited. Hotel had organized entertainment for the night which was very enjoyable. Tip: Us...

Kitchen stove, microwave, kettle, refrigerator, bathroom, a/c heater, tv, extra pillows and blankets, and beautiful terrace. Cavtat is about 30 minutes from Dubrovnik and near other small towns with nice beaches. Only a 5 minutes drive to Cipili Dubrovnik airport so quite convenient. We hired a car of course, being that we took day trips to Montenegro and up north Croa...

We got off to a bit of a rocky start, as we booked an apartment online that showed a private balcony with sea view. When we showed up, that particular room was already taken and we were given the room next door. While it had two balconies, the sea view one was not really private in that it was off the stairwell, so the upstairs family room guests and as well as those n...

They advertise an a la carte restaurant on site. Only on arrival we were told we needed to make reservations for supper before-hand. This was not apparent from any correspondence or the booking confirmation. They were however kind enough to prepare us food once we pointed out that we were not aware of the need to order supper in advance. The location is a bit isolated...

New and modern Accommodation. It is much cheaper stay than to stay in Dubrovnik and less than 20Km from Dubrovnik with regular bus to Dubrovnik at the old Town or just a short walk out to the main road. The location is about 25mins walk to Cavtat old Town and if you gave a car it will make a good base for visit to the region places of interest. The bed and bathroom is ...

Real reviews for hotels
A lot of good restaurants. Great place for relaxation! No nightlife. Its a small town, so if you like a slow and relaxing pace this is the place for you, but if you get bored easily you should only stay a few days in Cavtat.
We were tipped off to Cavtat by friends who'd stayed here previously. It's a great alternative to the overtouristed old town and higher prices of Dubrovnik, which we didn't care for as much (if you do go to Dubrovnik, stay in quiet Lapad for better accommodation and food at more reasonable prices, plus nice beaches nearby).
