There're not too many spots for sightseeing, but simply walking around the small town is good enough.
Ideal for a no rush travel schedule.
It's a must visit in Czech. It's a beautiful small city with friendly people around. Everywhere is within walking distance.
It's a great place for couple to relax and enjoy time together. Another plus point to mention, the shuttle service to get to CK is so convenient. It's called CKShuttle. They can pick you up from your last hotel stay and drop you right at the door step of the next hotel stay. How great is that! The driver is also very friendly. He shared a lot of things about CK about Czech Republic, from history to food to people to places of interest. Basically everything that you would like to know about this country. We can feel how proud he is, living in this country.
A peaceful place that you can stay for several days to clear all your tired of city life and free you like get out of a jail.
You can just walk, or drink a cup of coffee, or a local beer for sure, just wandering, empty you.
Cesky Krumlov is a very busy tourist town with tourists coming in by bus groups and ship cruisers. We visited by car and found access to the Old city very difficult with signage inadequate and a GPS which did not know streets in the old town.
Cesky Krumlov has managed thus far to retain its charm as a medieval city and not be overtaken by "kitschy" shops which have no relation to the culture of the town.
Egon Schiele Museum Regional Museum The Castle Barbakan restaurant for atmosphere, fresh innovative food.
Lovely town, must visit city for Czech replublic. Good town view from top of castle and night time also wonderful time as well.
There is no admission charges for the castle compound. Visit early morning to avoid the tour groups and evenings for the night view.
We booked door to door service to Salzburg with Czech shuttle at KCR1050 per person. The service was prompt and the ride was only 2.
Cesky Krumlov is lovely city that you can spend a night or two night to relax and enjoy. City is small as you can walk to explore the whole city and enjoy.
Food is nice, not expensive. I highly recommend this city to ones who love to travel in lovely and relax city. Quiet and peach. :)
It's the great peaceful and beautiful place that easy access by Student agency bus from Prague. You need to spend 2 days and 1 night to stay here.
Beautiful medieval town with 13th-century castle with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements. Highly recommend the rafting trip through the old town.
A nice little village with a romantic and rustic atmosphere. Relax here for one or two nights just strolling along the cobbled walkways and castle grounds.
Beautiful place with lots of photo-worthy shots. Great to stay here for a night at least, to enjoy its night views and quaint guesthouses which are available across the village.
The town is absolutely beautiful, however, it's very turistic at the same time. If you have time, stay for one night and get up early in the morning.
You can see its original beauty.
This is a beautiful little town full of charm. Easy walking town that can be seen in a day but I would suggest taking a couple of days and spend one just floating down the river.
Walk up through the castle then spend the afternoon lazing around the numerous restaurants and cafes by the river banks in summer.
