"I stayed here a few times in recent weeks, in a different room each time, and they were all very nicely appointed: comfortable beds and chairs, plenty of pillows, unusually attractive decor (bedspread, carpet, artwork). When I did, once, have a problem (with the TV), the staff promptly fixed it. Otherwise, in normal interactions (such as check in and check out), they were friendly, courteous, and thoroughly professional. One completely unexpected bonus: Many a motel, here in the States, has a Bible in the drawer of the bedside table. There was one here, too, but also a copy of the Bhagavad Gita. I took great comfort in finding that, at the end of an especially difficult day, and imagine that others have as well. In summary, nothing too fancy (although if you wanted that, you'd be looking elsewhere), but a lot nicer than I expected. It would be my first choice, if I ever needed a motel room in Charlottesville again."

"We booked the hotel based on the professional photos from the Agoda site however, the actual hotel is far from what's been advertised on the photos (even with a Hilton name on it) and certainly not worth the price we paid for. During check-in we requested for a room on a higher floor and we have been told by the staff that as we booked our room through a third party booking system ie. Agoda, we can only stay in certain floor. We eventually stayed in a room on ground floor which looks out to the carpark with no view. There was no complimentary water in the room (most hotels provide this) and the A/C unit in the room is so old that it makes loud noise every 15 mins when it's turned on so the only way to stop the noise is to turn the A/C off (then the room becomes so hot you'd have to keep turning it on and off the entire night!). The pool as shown in the hotel photo was barely enough for 4 adults let alone swim in it. Worst hotel experience ever, definitely won't recommend it."

"It was a little difficult to find the place (look for a small sign practically at the gas station if you're on Emmet St. -- easily missed!), but well worth it: great price, well kitted out room with flat screen, fridge, microwave, etc. and decent free breakfast. Highly recommend!!"
