Chester hotels & accommodations

Staff were very friendly, especially Jo who worked the night shift and Chris on reception who I believe had only worked there 3 days, he was very helpful gave us a map of Chester and recommended best Restaurants to visit, very welcoming and excellent customer service. Very enjoyable three days. Absolutely perfect location for access from trains or coaches. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with suggestions, both for ideas around the property or around Chester as a whole. Special thanks to Shawn, Paul and Shannon, in the front pub, Haley and Fabio in the King's lounge and of course Sebastion in the main dining hall.

Working abroad means Xmas shopping needs to be planned well in advance. Where better to do this than Chester? It has all the standard shops plus many specialist outlets. To be able to walk around the place makes the job so much easier and The Blossoms hotel is perfectly placed fot this. Reasonably priced, great staff and clean rooms. Well worth a visit.

I booked a room on the Executive Club floor - two main benefits -it is a "quiet"floor (no room cleaning before 10am etc) and free drinks & canapés served in club room from 5 - 7 pm. The former was excellent, everyone made an effort to be quiet and not bang room doors, the latter not so good. Staff could not have been more helpful - for example I had to leave in the ear...

Overall my stay was really nice. It's a modern well equipped hotel. Close to the city being only a couple minutes walk away, but still on the outside for quiet. The beds are super soft and airy. I had a really good nights sleep. Although the fire alarm went off in the morning, 9:30 and lasted a minute. The breakfast at Michael Caines restaurant was really good, so I'...

Apartment was perfect for our group of girls on a hen do. So close to centre, close to train station. The apartment itself was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. The beds were so comfortable, the living and kitchen area were a good size and had more than enough plates, glasses and cooking equipment. We loved the hot tub and balcony area. The hosts of thi...

Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from our host, Ray. He gave us a lot of information and a map to find our way around. The Guest House is very well situated for exploring Chester, being only a 15 minute walk from the town centre. There are good restaurants and pubs nearby for an evening meal. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We were given a room dow...

Was met by Fiona was told apartment would be ready in 45 mins which was great because we had arrived early.Came back a hour later and she had took all our bags and weekend essentials ( Beer ) to our room which was lovely of her.Nice room and great location would definitely be stopping again when we visit Chester..

As expected, Holiday Inn Express delivered. Staff were excellent and accomadating when we asked for a room change due to a crying baby. Location is excellent for horse racing, sight-seeing and commuting into Liverpool. Lots to do and see within a short walking distance. Highly recommended if visiting Chester. Breakfast was sufficient even at busy periods. Bed was very ...

Good location, swimming pool, gym good, reception area good and breakfast satisfactory. The front of the hotel is looking very tired as are the corridors to rooms. If I was to drive by I wouldn't be inclined to book which is a shame as its good inside

Booked this room for my son and his best man so he could be with us the day before his wedding down the road. The staff very very polite and helpful, food amazing and room perfect. A great place to meetup and enjoy a tasty meal, a good pint and a very comfortable room. High praise for all at the Inn Keepers Lodge.

This was a great little place. The man working reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and clean, spacious, well decorated with a kitchenette. It was an easy walk to town and shops. There was car parking behind the hotel. The wifi was not very reliable during my time though definitely recommend this place.

The owner/staff are very friendly but it is really difficult to understand why this hotel gets such good reviews. Yes there is a car park. It is a little far out from Chester and it is quite a walk along a busy road to any restaurant. Location is actually quite dreadful as sits on a very busy main road with many large trucks and there is traffic all night which disturb...

We were visiting Chester for an overnight stay and found this hotel to be excellent. It's on the city walls route so you can have a relaxing walk round Chester and end up back at the hotel with ease. Overlooking the race track and close to the city center. We stayed in the more expensive apartment and it was very spacious.

Perfect location. Everything you want in one room. Very clean and comfortable bed. I have put satisfactory for staff because I didn't see anyone but that was not a problem as you can contact owner by email and get a quick response. Only fault was mirror in bathroom was for a 6ft person. I could barely see the top of my head.

Beautiful rooms and bathrooms, we requested a high floor - this was a great idea as much better view and no one walking past your window - I would definitely recommend! Free car parking was very helpful and just a short walk into the centre of Chester along the river. View was over the car park and could just see the river over the top of the pub. Only downside was vie...
