"we arrived late at night to panviman and we regret that we only had 12 hours of stay in this extremely beautiful hotel. first, our room, even though we had to walk up 4 floors, we were happy and was amazed by the room and its facilities. however the best comes in the morning when we took a walk around. the breakfast was great and the outdoor workout facility is very nice. we tried to book for the spa however it was fully booked as we were too late. however we were able to go around the spa area and it was very beautiful. the swimming pool was amazing and the meditation cave was one of a kind. i simply say: panviman is one of the best 5 stars hotel in chiang mai."

"we live in dubai but we travel to chiang mai at least once a month as our children study in boarding school in chiang mai. we stay in many many highend places in chiang mai which were really nice and pricey. after we found "lotus pang suan kaew chiang mai" and stay here, it's just right about the location, safety, service and the hotel offer all guests free pick up from chiang mai airport too! we went back ther more than 7 times already since march 2011 and we booked the rooms with "agoda.com" only because so far this website is the best price and the best promotion (free room upgrade) compared to the others. i can pay 3 rooms per night as equal price as one night only @ the hotels i stay in chiang mai before. our family from uk also love this place, it's look gorgeous when you take pictures. "I have stayed at many hotels in Chiang Mai on business trips. This one was by far the best in the downtown area near the Night Bazaar. For me, location is very important in Chiang Mai. This is the best hotel in the location if you want luxury at a good value. The food here was very good also. This was our first time taking young children with us to Chiang Mai. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the children who were ages 1 and 3. We will definitely come back to the Centara. We love Chiang Mai."

"We loved everything about our cheap stay here - gorgeous room, pool, very quiet, nice breakfast and the location is incredible! If you are staying in Chiang Mai the location is more important than ever and being in the old city is so important. Everything is right on your door step including all the main night life, shops, the Sunday night market, nice restaurants and you can walk to everything in the centre square! One of the best things were the best staff we have ever had at a hotel travelling - they went above and beyond for us in our 3 nights there from booking overnight buses, trips, telling me where to best rent a mountain bike, and were just so happy and friendly. Great place to stay!"

"Although this hotel is a few miles from Chiang Mai it is in a lovely peaceful setting and very tranquil. It is ideal as an away from it all location. There is a free shuttle service into Chiang Mai by boat in the morning and by minibus at night. Our room overlooked the River Ping and was well thought out in its layout. You could lay on the bed or in the bath and enjoy the views of the garden and the river. The infinity pool was a nice touch. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We wanted to go to a restaurant in Chiang Mai at 9.00pm on the Sunday evening and we asked reception to get us a taxi. They told us that the taxi was not available that evening but the receptionist offered to take us to the restaurant in her own car which we happily accepted. Now that's what you call customer service! Free wi fi was available at any point within the hotel grounds. Would definately recommend this hotel and would definately go back again. "

"The hotel is nicely located in Chiang Mai. Close to Maya Mall, Niman Street and highways. I rent a car so transport is so convenient. The staffs are friendly as expected the the room's setting is nice. Good bathroom, large tv screen, good internet connection. Good fitness room which helps me as a regular excercise man. The breakfast is nice although selection of food is not as many as I expected from a Novotel. But overall is satisfactory. Reccommened, another good choice to stay in Chiang Mai. "

"Located next door to a night market area with a really good atmosphere. A 20 minute stroll from Chiang Mai night-bazaar. To get to the bazaar you can walk through the main bar street: Loi Kroh road. The room was modern and very well presented. Wifi worked fine in the room. An access key can be picked up from reception and will last 24 hours each. Also had 3 desktop PC's situated in the lobby. No complaints about wifi here. Laundry. I was advised by a member of staff to use the laundry to the left of the hotel when you walk out of the reception. The old lady appears not to have an identification system and also "forgot" to return one of my shirts. Luckily I checked mine. Reception staff appeared as friendly at this hotel. No complaints about them. The one-day trip to Chiang Rai, the golden triangle, and long-neck tribe is an interesting, if long, day out. Beware that the price (circa 700 baht) you are charged at the office in Chiang Mai does not cover the cost of the boat on the Mekong (300 baht) or the cost to see the long neck tribe (300 baht). The white temple at Chiang Rai is beautiful."

"There are plenty of cheaper places in Chiang Mai but that is not to say that Roseate was expensive. I found the hotel to be great value for money based on the above average standard and facilities. The room was a really good size so we could spread our stuff out and not literally have to live out of our rucksacks, also room service and fresh towels every day. In terms of location, Roseate is on the road just inside the rivee that surrounds the 'old city' of Chiang Mai. Within a 5 minute walk inwards, you soon come across both popular tourist and local restaurants, shops and massage parlours. Needless to say there is also a 7-Eleven just 30 seconds away also. Overall Chiang Mai is a lovely place that caters for couples, families and also travellers looking for a good time, particularly Zoe Corner. Also you must go to the Elephant Sancturay :)"

"I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know that is planning on staying in Chiang Mai! The staff goes above and beyond excellent customer service. We especially appreciated Kao as our server every morning, afternoon, and evening he would greet us with the biggest smile. I had needed feminine products and could not find them anywhere, and Kao went out of his way to go to the store and get them for me. He didn't have to do that, but he did & any female knows that's going out of his way! Our rooms were always well kept, and is beyond spacious. The services they provide are done in excellence at all times. The grounds are serene, as the name describes the place. The only thing that I could say that needs improvement would be the water pressure in the large jacuzzi tub needs to be fixed. We couldn't use it because it would've taken hours to fill it up. Other than that I would stay here over and over again when I am in Chiang Mai on my next travels. Thank you so much to all of the staff at Bodhi Serene Hotel in Chiang Mai."
