"You can't beat this place for location. It's a ten min walk to the Art Institute of Chicago and 20 min walk to the Field Museum. The building is a bit old so it's not shiny new but it doesn't have that run down feel that some old places get either. The staff are lovely. Parking is across the street and costs $39 a night so factor that into the cost of your stay. I would defiantly stay here again. "

"I selected the Cambria because my son was having surgery at Lurie Children's Hospital and the hotel is right next door - literally a 2 minute walk. Great location! Very clean with a very cool vibe. Updated - although still undergoing renovations which was a little inconvenient but not bad (reason for 4 star rating on facilities). Best part - the staff! Exceptional! From the valet who helped unload our car to the staff at the front desk, all were kind, helpful and very proactive in serving our needs. I definitely will stay here again! "

"I am visiting from overseas and was getting around by public transport, however there is no safe way for a pedestrian to cross Busse Road to get to the bus stop on the western side of Busse Road. The traffic signals at Busse Road/E Higgins Road do not have signals that allow a pedestrian to cross in this direction. I ended up having to run across Busse Road which at times has a high volume of traffic. The hotel should lobby the relevant government authority to get traffic signals added at the Busse Road/E Higgins Road intersection for pedestrians!"

"We stayed at this hotel Thursday-Saturday and attended a Bears game on Sunday. The hotel held our luggage for us until after the game at no additional charge. They also did not charge us for valet on Sunday, even though our car stayed there until after 5pm. My husband and I did feel a little bad that we had a young child with us (7 months old) as we felt the hotel was geared toward business travelers, however the staff in NO WAY made us feel this way! They were very warm and welcoming and greeted our son like they did us. The room was smaller than most hotels but for downtown Chicago, I'm sure it's standard. It was set up for 1-2 people (few towels and wash cloths) however I'm sure the staff would have had no problem bringing us more had we asked. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone! We did not try the hotel restaurant which is why I gave it an average score. Cleanliness got a 4/5 because we found a tube of makeup under the nightstand when my husband was searching for my son's toys. "
