"We were in town for a graduation. Although this older area of the city is a bit run down, the location was super close to the school. The building is under renovation, which is why I suspect we got such a great deal, but we were quite happy with our choice. The free breakfast was one of the best we've seen, the staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was not only comfortable, but also spic and span. The bathroom still had some areas from renovation that needed to be touched up (extra grout on the baseboards, door could use some touch up paint, etc.). Still a great value for the price. We'd stay again if ever in the area."

"This experience confirmed my experience that if you get a good deal on Agoda or any other cheaper booking site, you get one of the lesser rooms. Not quite a view, paint a little chipped, not quite as pristine clean, bathroom caulk a little rough and grungy. But, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot, the lobby was pretty. Overall a good experience, just not the same experience as those who probably paid the full price."

"We booked the day of. So we got an amazing deal. However regular rates are very pricey. Almost nothing is included in the room rate. For example, parking is $10/day and breakfast is $13-$17 per person. The hotel looked nice and clean. Our room was tidy, but there were stains on the floor. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was nice; however, the mattress pad kept buckling. I re-tucked the edges because they weren't on well, but I think it just needs to be replaced. Location was awesome, since the hotel is near downtown. They even have a shuttle service to the hospital and university. Overall we had a very nice, short, little stay (1 night). I'd recommend this hotel."

"Cheap (Agoda generally has best price). Many guests have criminal backgrounds, many use drugs. There was a murder here recently. Some staff use drugs, although most are nice. Badly in need of repairs/ maintenance. Police here most days. Despite all that, it is basically safe if you stay to yourself, heating and cooling is adequate, plumbing and internet are subpar. Serious leaks, holes in walls, housekeeping needs to be requested and then MAY happen. Internet unstable. Breakfast is cereal and toast. Motel location is good. "
