Quiet place perfect for couples. Many beaches and nature walks. A perfect romantic getaway for honeymooners.
It wasn't a huge place as I thought it would be. There's plenty of beaches for one to visit...but as you hv seen 1, you have seen all.
The most amazing of all would be the Wineglass Bay. However, its not easy to access it unless you sign up for the cruise. Or you can go up to the Wineglass Bay Lookout Point. After purchasing the park pass (which you can use for the whole of Tasmania's National Park), you can drive right up till the car park & then tread approximately 1hr to the lookout. It is a spectacular sight & well worth the time it took for us to get there!! However, I would strongly advise against going down to the Wineglass Bay - it is suppose to take another 1.5hrs to reach it BUT the route down (a grade 4 track) is not as easy as to the lookout point. There are no proper steps & is full of rough-edged rocks; proper footwear is compulsory. Also, remember to apply mosquitoes repellent as we were attacked by swarms of mosquitoes halfway there. We gave up 45mins on our way down although we were more than halfway there but we deemed it too dangerous as we were not well-equipped.
Hikers, nature lovers and casual walkers will enjoy this place. Visit Honeymoon Bay at the sunset. The quiet and solitude is refreshing to the soul.
