"I booked this reservation last minute when other lodging arrangements fell through and was happily surprised. I was in town for a conference in downtown Columbus. While I had hoped to stay within walking distance of the conference, the hotel was a 10 min, straight shot drive from downtown. This hotel was conveniently located near several restaurants and gas stations. The best part, however, was the free breakfast. Even though I am a picky eater with many food allergies, I found the food selection and quality to be top notch. Eggs, bacon or sausage, fruit, and monkey bread on Saturday. "

"We recently stayed at the doubletree from 6-9 December 2018 with our family. Stating with guest service at the front to housekeeping, people were overall rude. We showed up and instead of making us feel welcomed by greeting us, the young man who was at check in made us feel like we owed them something instead. We left a set of keys in our room and until this present day, I’ve yet to hear back from housekeeping if they ever found it even after my numerous phone call attempt. People were still rude even over the phone. The south I always thought we’re friendly and always extending their southern hospitality, not in this case. Very disappointed! Won’t be staying at the double tree again, sadly."
