The hotel has a very good location,10 min walking from city centre,we were 3 girls and had one room booked all toghether and we were really impressed with the hospitality and Cleanliness was spotless! The hotel owner is an amazing person ,he made us feel like home ,every morning waiting for us with warm sandwish, tea or coffe wich was an amazing gesture taking in count t...

The hotel is well placed in the middle of historic area of Cusco and its settings reflect the Spanish influence and feel of the cities history. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive but not in your face. They will organize travel and tours for you or give you local knowledge which is invaluable with so much to see and do. Twin room was ample in size and beds co...

We stayed in la Posada for 3 nights and loved every minute! It is perfectly located, only 3 min walk from la plaza de armas. The staff was amongst the friendliest we've ever had in all out travels, incredibly friendly and helpful no matter what question. When they found out that we are on our honeymoon (which we didn't mention in the booking) they even got us a present...

beautiful hotel in one of the best and most beautiful locations in Cusco. A few blocks down a beautiful cobblestone street from the main plaza. Warm and wonderful staff that went out of their way to make my stay very enjoyable. Very comfortable beds and fancy shower. Great breakfast. Highly recommended!

With one exception, I give Rumi Punku two thumbs up. The staff was super helpful on all accounts. The airport pickup went great; some of the other reviews mentioned issues with the pickup - none here, even with flight issues and time changes. I kept in touch with them, and they were there for me. The breakfast was lovely. The rooms are wonderful. I had two separa...

A little off center square but central enough and close to most what the town has to offer. The hotel itself could just as well be given four stars as there are several 4-star hotels well under par this one. Breakfast selection was a little scant, but it was free and tasted well. The wi-fi was free aswell as a computer downstairs.

This small b&b is only a few minutes walk away from the main square in Cusco. It's clean and convenient, the staff Juan and Gabby were very accommodating and helpful. The only thing I would say is the blue room we stayed in was too small for 4 adults! With hindsight it would've been better to book 2 rooms.

Located right in the doentown square. Laundry facility 2min walk, grocery store right across the street. Staff speak great English and are extremely friendly! The rooms are on the smaller side but are clean, cute and comfortable. Breakfast is provided every morning. On days when we had 3am pick ups for the treks we did, the staff had a boxed breakfast packed and r...

Rooms were splendid and had huge comfy beds after more than 24 bus ride from Lima. However do note hotel is atop the hill, and with high altitude, it takes more time and effort to do a slow climb of stairs. Front desk service was awful, but I'm ok as long it doesn't affect my stay

We only stayed one night, but it was one of the better places we stayed during our entire 30 day trip through South America. Excellent value for money. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable rooms with hot showers. And one of the absolute best staff we've seen. We stayed for one night before flying to Bolivia the following morning. As an American, I needed to print several d...

We stayed here for only one night but we experience great warmth and hospitality from the host. It is only a boutique hotel but you get 5-star service. Added to this is the good location and the clean cozy environment. Visitors to Cusco should stay here.

We stayed here before and after our Inka trail trek. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. We were able to store our bags here free of charge whilst trekking. All rooms are nice with large TVs, the common room has computers for use, all areas have good free wifi. Situated very close to the main square and all cusco attractions. If you want a nice spacious...

The hotel has great location about 2 blocks away from the Main Square but in the quiet area away from traffic. It has rustic looking building which I like and free breakfast is included. Also the hotel has free coca tea in the lobby which is great for altitude sickness. Hot water went out that night and one of our friend was upset but they fixed it in the morning.

Quaint lodging. We had a family apartment with loft, very roomy for a family of 4. Lots of natural light during the day in the living area. Bathroom could use better lighting and maybe a larger mirror. Only portable heaters in the bedrooms but with that and enough bedding, the rooms were warm. Breakfast items were delivered every afternoon and were plentiful. We enjoye...

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a private room and it was better than a hotel. The atmosphere was fantastic! The hostel is one of the main tour booking sites in town and they are very knowledgable about the adventure opportunities in Cusco. The hostel can be a little noisy at night as there is a bar on site, but nothing ear plugs can't fix for a...

the hotel was great - had a great location and the people that worked there were really helpful and nice; the rooms are small but very clean and the beds are very comfortable; showers were great with good pressure; the breakfast was hot and had plenty of choices, even for picky eaters
Cheap places to stay in Cusco

I booked female dormitory - because as I researched this is the only hostel which has female dorm, however they try to give me a mixed dorm and they said female form is full (a guy who can say only spanish) I asked other one who can speak English - A english can speaking guy says they are not offer female dorms few month ago, all rooms are now mixed. So I said "Ok then...

I booked the same hostel for 2 nights after my Machu Picchu adventure. I didn't stay here but left my bag since I took a night bus to and from Puno (I booked a day tour at Lake Titicaca. I was surprised that my bed was given to another backpacker when I came back from Puno. The staff immediately gave me another bed as a replacement. Good job! Will definitely book agai...

Great little hostel well located in Cusco. They offer free activities and highly recommend the free walking tour with Christian! It was very informative. Room was nice and clean, but they did not empty our garbage or refill toilet paper once during the night stay, we had to ask. The room doors and windows give to the hostel court yard which is a problem cause you can h...

The hotel is very close to Plaza De Armas and also walking distance to Sacsayhuaman. The staffs are very helpful to provide tourists information and help us to arrange taxi to airport. The downside is the bed is a bit loose and there is sound whenever you move on the bed. Overall, it is value for money.

The owner who received me was very endearing. She was very welcoming despite my late-night arrival and despite its inconspicuous facade, the owner made sure I find my way. The room was clean and at par with budget rooms I've been to. The walls at the reception area have photos of grateful guests for reason I understandably felt when I was there. You'd never expect such...

I booked the twins room with private bathroom, but the private bathroom which is not in my room. I have to pass the public area to my PRIVATE bathroom. And the last nite , there is no any hot water in my bathroom. The staff explained because the hot water tank is shared by my bathroom and another bath room. Thus other guest may use up all the hot water for bathing :( B...

On our trip to Machupichu we found this gem of a hotel in Cusco. They provided a generous 11:30am checkin time so we left our luggage in our room and toured the Inca sites of the city. The free breakfast each morning was different but incuded egg omlets, fruit, yogurt, bread, cereal, chocolate milk, tea, crackers, and cold cuts. When we left for Machupichu the staff...
We are only need a place for place our luggage for 6 hours and having a bath before heading to get on the night bus from Cuzco to Bolivia. When we ask Vanessa help to call a taxi to downtown buy night bus ticket, something and having our late lunch. she ask one of the staff drive us to (Only charge us reasonable 1 way fare) and she also get on the car and try her best ...

Staying at Mama Simona Hostel has been one of the best experiences. Thank you for listening to my concerns and been so flexible with them. The hostel has all the services that a traveler needs; such as access to the kitchen, free storage lockers, internet uses, 24-hour hot water, mate de coca, and coffee available.

Very close to minivans to Ollantaytambo and a Peru Rail office where you'll need to go to pick up your tickets. Google maps lists it as "Aventura Peru 4X4" and we were looking for the office at Plaza Mayor, but walked by this place and it had a Peru Rail sign. Lucky us. Augusto was the front desk clerk most of the time and he prepared coca tea for us the night we got t...

This place is simply perfect. Just about 10mins walking distance to the Plaza Armas. Everything is so close. The owners are so accommodating! They will help you on every aspect! DO NOT compare with 4 or 5 stars Hotel. This is simply a homestay feel & male you feel like a home away from home! I definitely will be staying here again if I’m in Cusco again.

Out of our whole three week trip to Peru this was our favorite place to stay! The place was clean, charming and the rooftop has an incredible view of Cusco! The staff were very helpful and friendly arranging rides for us and giving recommendations. Good location within walking distance to many attractions in The city. I highly recommend!

This is without a doubt the most beautiful hostel I stayed at. The main room has a nice tiled floor, a glass roof that lets in the sun and heat (important in cold Cusco), and plants all around. There is free cocoa tea to drink whenever you want. The only drawback is the rooms are quite small, I barely could leave my suitcase open, but you didn't come to Cuzco to sta...

The hotel was comfortable and had hot showers. The staff welcomed us with mugs of coca leaf tea to help with the altitude sickness. Everything was exceptional except for one upsetting experience. My friends and I went for a night out and I came home early. As my friends were still out, I asked the night time reception guy to let me into my room. He started to make sma...

Located away from centre but in quite area and big shopping centres around( bus costs 0.6 and taxi around 6-7) We had to stay in different room from what we booked but that was fine. Wifi was inconsistent and barely working and no shared kitchen and laundry service. However, Room was very well furnished and owners were helpful and friendly.

Perfect location with the Central market as well as a supermarket at your doorstep. Within walking distance of many of Cusco's sites. The three bedroom apartment was a steal, nice and big with a heater. The hot water wasn't always stable but usually worked fine

We loved it here. Hot water, thick blankets, doesn't seem to attract party types and delicious food, all to help area children too. Rooms were clean and tidy and the staff very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel. Try the banana smoothies....yummy.

Nice little hotel. Great staff. The reception snuk us in to check in quickly before a large group of loud North Americans could hog the lobby. The hotel kept our suitcases for 3 days while we went to Machu Picchu even though we were there for only one night. Great view of Cusco from our room and fantastic buffet breakfast.

we stayed in the hotel for two nights in august 2011 for our trip to machu picchu. our stay was excellent. the hotel was new, very clean, comfortable, had a convenient location and great breakfast. it also had a spa, but unfortunately we did not have time for it. the staff was very efficient and very helpful. we stayed on the 4th floor with windows facing the inner cou...

We only had one night here, but the service from the staff was very good. Check out was at 10:00 AM, but we didn't leave until about 2:30 PM. While we could have potentially extended our room until that time for 30-50% of the room rate, we opted to have the hotel hold out luggage. They were very accommodating during that window of time and it was much appreciated. Do...

Beautiful hotel converted from 1st Inca King's palace. The hotel is located at top of the hill, which makes the return uphill walk back from downtown quite a challenge especially if one has to deal with high altitude sickness already. Was locked out of the front gate one night at 9:00 pm. Rang the door bells over 10 times. No one at the reception desk came. Finall...

It's the perfect hotel in Cusco Not far to walk to the center Hotel has coffee shop and resto onsite that is easy for us in the lazed day after long day trip Service is superb! Theirs staffs care of customers and prepare on the go breakfast for us on the early day trip
Luxury hotels in Cusco

The staff were attentive and helpful. Matias from the concierge went above and beyond to recitify a change in our self booked Peru rail tickets to Macchu Picchu. The food in the restaurant is delicious and well priced for the great quality. The building is unique and full of history. The all important Pisco sour master class was also informative and great fun. Wou...

there are more and more boutique hotel neamed but not boutique at all. this one is the real boutique type as my category. not only the hotel design, room and bath details, but also all he very sweet service to let us feel it's our temprate home, sometimes we even fotgot to lock our door~

Upon checkin they didn't recognized my AGODA reservation made and PAID weeks ago so it was an awkward checkin situation to check and recheck and recheck. Not professional at all. They should know how to do handle situations like this because that is their job. Meanwhile waiting they threated me like they were doing me a favour...

Cuzco is a small historical town. Alot of old building from the 18th century (Colonial period). Many Inca sites are located far from the town.
