Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea

"I love the private beach! It is very sweet that the Dead Sea mud has been prepared for us to use. After having fun in Dead Sea, we could walk back to the hotel room and take a shower, that's why I love private beach! "

Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa

"There's not much to do in Dead Sea except to enjoy the experience of floating and relaxing in the Dead Sea. This is a comfortable resort hotel to spend the entire day since there's no activity outside of the resort. Courteous and gentle lifeguards who assist at the beach just in case the "extremely" salty sea water gets into the eyes or to walk into the sea covered with rocks and crystalized salts on the sea bed for the first time. Ramada Resort Dead Sea
Dead Sea,Dead Sea - View on map
"This is a nice resort by the Dead Sea. A frequent resort shuttle bus brings you right to the seashore owned by the resort. It has a heated spa pool and heated kids pool. Also a large pool. I would recommend including the buffet breakfast with your stay as it is far from many restaurants unless you have a car. Food is reasonably priced but prices do not have the added service charges and government taxes. Alcohol is expensive but that is everywhere in Jordan. No outside food or drink is allowed inside the resort. I think it is because itencourages ants in the hotel rooms as I can attest so I had to place my chocolates in the fridge. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and serviced daily. I would recommend this place to relax after full on sightseeing in Wadi Rum and Petra if you are coming by car from the south. There is secure parking in front of the hotel. "

Grand East Hotel Resort and Spa

"we managed to get a room here for a night for 75 EUR, which was really good value. I have stayed in 3 resorts on the Dead Sea Jordan side, from cheap to super expensive, and this one was really good value. Food was decent, not gonna blow your mind and could use more fresh fruits etc, the place was clean and the staff were pretty good. It's also is pretty quiet and relaxed, not full of big groups and families like the Dead Sea Spa resort. the place is looking a little dated these days, but the location, the Dead Sea beach, and the pools are all good. Room was a good size, quiet and nice furnishings. if you want super luxury and can afford it, go Kempinski, without a doubt. But otherwise I would choose here for value. "

Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa

"The one and only favorite hotel in Dead Sea.. The staff were the most friendly ever, especially: 1. Front desk and reception: Rami and Amer Nawaji. 2. House keeping Mr. Omar Nawaji. 3. Room service: Rami. 4. Food and beverage: Ali Mansour. All of these amazing folks makes your stay unforgettable.. Yet, the beach, I’d suggest to replace the stones with sands instead. And regarding the adults pool, it would be more cheerful if it has more energetic atmosphere from a DJ to pool bar and animation team. Best wishes and keep it up Mariott Staff. Shareef Shanableh"

Movenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea

"We are regulars at the Moevenpick Heritage Hotel in Singapore, but our experience at the Moevenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea was beyond exhilarating and we are extremely thankful for spending our honeymoon there. It is the best stay we have ever had. The hotel staffs were pleasant and friendly. The ambience was out-of-this-world and we watched sunrise and sunset by the dead sea from our balcony everyday! Breakfast was beautifully set and had an array of yummy choices for our Asian taste. On the way to the beach, we passed some villas and we admired the pathways and rooms so much that we plan to return again someday. There were plenty of pools, free shuttles to the private beach and numerous restaurants with various atmospheres for all ages. We took a couple massage session at the Zara Spa and it was an amazing experience. The staffs made us feel so special and even gave us a tour with complimentary drinks and usage of the extensive spa facilities. There is even an indoor private dead sea pool for those who want away from the sun. At every second spent at the hotel, we didn’t want to leave the premises. There were lots of large families and children but we still felt a personal space for our honeymoon. I am lost for words on how happy and blessed you guys made us feel, and we really look forward to return someday soon! Thank you for making our dream honeymoon come true! Syukran!"

More about Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is one of the world’s most fascinating destinations, and the eastern coast of Jordan is a great base for exploring its wonders. The sea itself is the focal point of the area, being the lowest point in the world and having what is considered the second saltiest body of water. Queen Alia International Airport is the gateway to the region, and a taxi or bus ride from there is all it takes to reach the Dead Sea.

Travelers to the Dead Sea are generally drawn to it for its unique characteristics as well as its therapeutic benefits. This certainly isn’t a place for a swim, but floating on the water without an inflatable makes for quite a unique experience. The mud along the shore is rich in minerals and is often rubbed on the skin to soak up its medicinal and therapeutic properties.

Outside of the Dead Sea are some impressive sites and attractions that deserve a spot on the itinerary. Mount Nebo is bedecked with the remains of an excavated church and a monument commemorating Moses. The baptism site of Jesus, Lot’s cave, and Madaba, the City of Mosaics, are also popular draws for travelers here.

Accommodation can be easily found near the Mujib Nature Reserve of Wadi Mujib and the coast of the Dead Sea, especially high-end properties. Find the most suitable accommodation for you by clicking on our interactive map and exploring Dead Sea for hotels and must-see destinations.
