Probably the best equipped accommodation I have ever used. The kitchen had everything you would need to move in permanently.
This was a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was like an old English stone farm house with wooden decor and a nice fireplace which was great to have going during the chilly evening. It was surrounded by fields and farm animals (sheep & alpacas). The cottage came equipped with dvds, books and board games, and the homemede muffins & bread & fresh eggs were really yumm...
Blakes Manor is unique and a must 'stay' if you are in Deloraine. From the freshly baked loaf on arrival to the luxurious furnishings and decor this is a very special place to stay. Deena and Brett were wonderful hosts and nothing was lacking in their attention to detail and super friendly welcome. We wished we had booked for longer than the one night.
No cons. All wonderful. I was made very welcome and part of a Deloraine "family". I felt at home, so much so that I am convinced that I want to live here. The staff and old world charm with all the mod cons are brilliant. I'll be back.

This is the best hotel I have got experience even compared with five stars hotel. It is a place you feel like in your warm home, the owners pay attention to all the detail parts, from decoration, cleaning, design, the food... The view around is very good, you can enjoy after meal walking in the gardon, I do love this place, I will go back again.
Enjoyed the Bowerbank Mill Cottage. There was a bit of a glitch with the room, in that we had booked the Chimney Cottage (with the open fire), but on arrival, we were told that the pipes had frozen overnight, and we were relocated into Meander Cottage. It was a little disappointing, missing out on the open fire (one of the reasons we had selected the Chimney Cottage)...
My mom and I were visiting from Canada, and we are so happy that we chose Birdwing Bed and Breakfast. The property is full of fruit, berries, wildlife and countryside. Fritz made us the best breakfast, and we really enjoyed our morning conversation. He even made some muffins for us to take on the road. They have not lost their love of hosting people. I travelled to Deloraine to see friends in a play festival and chose Bonney's Inn as it was near the local theatre. A very warm welcome, a very comfortable room and bathroom, chocolates and port offered in room or in guests' sitting room ... and a HUGE and superb breakfast. Highly recommended
We were welcomed with a loaf of homemade fresh bread (and Lynn herself). The cottage is unprepossessing outside, but spacious and well appointed within. The sun-room is fabulous. Self-contained/self-catering - most things were already there, except for 'main meals'. Meticulously clean; equipment modern. Only(!) gripe - uncomfortable dining chairs. Craftsmanship e...
If you appreciate that the house was build with wood and rocks, you should try it out. Good to go during summer, autumn or spring time but not winter time as the place is really really cold. There is no electric blanket and you really depend on the fire stove to keep you warm. However, we loved the experience.
