"The entrance to the hotel from the main road is not lighted making it hard to see at night. Walls are thin enough to hear your neighbors partying all night, which happened one of the nights I was there."

"Pros-Front desk clerk was kind and helpful. Cons-chose a nonsmoking room but the hotel reeked of smoke; pool was overchlorinated and my toddler threw up immediately after; obnoxious residents were cursing and harassing people at the elevator (not the hotel’s fault, but didn’t help the experience). We ended up checking out on the day we arrived and drove 2 hours home rather than stay overnight."

"We arrived and we asked for 2queens @ $172.00/a night! Our clerk said our room was on the 2nd floor. I asked where are the Elevators ? We don't have one. So now we get a room in bldg.B #186 so we load everything up and wheel it thru the lobby into next bldg. I unlock the door and open there is someone sleeping in the bed!! Well the front desk clerk can't figure out why some one is there . Now a new person is helping us he says I was off 2 hours ago but still here. In this time 2 different people have come to th desk and say my TV and phone don't work!!! My new clerk is trying to keep it together. He says I can only put you on the 2nd. floor and I'll help you with your bags, It is now 10 pm so we go with him. This room must of had a blind wyndham inspector!! One wall had a cleat on where a headboard had been The corner by the TV was so dark I couldn't read.( TV did work) The place had a smell that I never had before. Cheap granite top on vanity but they left the 30year old tile on "

"- Your standard fare budget hotel. Windows slide open, which is good for fresh air. - Des Moines is a big suburban sprawl and this place is close to the highway...location is fine. - Rooms are kind of old, carpet all over the place...again, your standard American budget hotel."
