"This hotel isn't purpose-built, but the owners have made an excellent job of getting the most out of the original building. It still retains that 'quaint' feel, but the rooms and other areas are well laid-out and the facilities are very good. Meals are excellent and the staff are friendly and attentive. The car park is quite small but I didn't have any problems finding a space. "

"I travel a fair bit due to business and looked on the key hotel sites but struggled to find something good value and in a nice location. Greeted at checking by a very charming and chatty girl, she explained everything about the stay and showed us to our room. The evening meal was very very nice as was the breakfast, all fresh local produce. I will certainly be returning here, the staff and place are excellent! Keep up the great work :) David"
