Dubai is the most lively city in the Gulf. It is great for restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. It is not cheap but if you live in a nearby country, it is worth an occasional visit.
Also, it has many different kinds of people there - visitors and denizens.
FIRST OF ALL LET ME THANK THE UAE KING HIS EXCELLENCY MOHAMMED BIN RASHID AL MAKTOUM FOR NICELY LANDSCAPING THIS CITY AND HAVING NICE SHOPPING MALLS AND HOTELS.
DUBAI IS ABSOLUTELY SAFE TO STAY AND I WOULD RATE DUBAI BEING THE BEST CITY IN THE WORLD FOR SHOPPING, YOU MUST COME AND ENJOY.
Dubai is the most beautiful touristic city in middle Europe and Asia. It is an amazing city full of tall buildings, beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters and a special dessert
they build a city of nothing and make it really worth to travel to , you will find a lot of things to do , and a lot of places to go to , I was there for 5 days but it wasn`t enough , I recommend at least 10 days to really enjoy all the activities in this city
Good food. Especially for Indian / Asian / Veg. people. Lots of shopping places, sight seeing like Burj Khalifa fountain Show, Miracle Garden, Global village, etc.
All places are aged person / disabled person friendly. Very good transport facilities. Over all a very nice place to visit.
Whatever you have in mind, can find it in Dubai! from shopping to night entertainment all in one place!
Città interessante, fatta per il turismo, comoda la metro e i bus per gli spostamenti. ottima per gite nel deserto e sport marittimi
Visit Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Alternatively, explore Dubai Creek. If you are looking for aviation collectibles, Al Rigga has many airlines' offices.
You can hunt for the desired collectibles.
We have been visiting dubai for 12 years. Started of just me and my wife, so much to see and do as a couple.
now we have a daughter and our holidays have changed as its now more about our daughter enjoying and yet again theres so much for children to see and do. Just cant go wrong with visiting Dubai.
Lots of impressive shopping but it's expensive compared with Europe. Traditional souks offer regional produce which is exciting.
Global village was lovely and a great night out. City is clean and modern with all the frills. Essentially a shopping paradise!
If you have shopping, if you love the sun and beaches and nice hotels, if you have to get some party out of your system , if you wanna see nice cars, peaceful and respectful local emiraties and last but not least, if you have money to spend pouring outta your poks, this is THE place to go.
this city is ALL IN ONE .. wow .. you can do any type of activity in one city with a competitive prices, the best month to visit this city is Dec where the weather is cloudy and shops in sale.
My first impression is money, new build beaches, malls, lots of roads between malls, low-cost imported labour, and money.
I'm sure that there could be wonderful hidden treasures and jems off the beaten path, but for a short break, it's just malls, decent food choices, and low-cost workers everywhere. I enjoyed my weekend there, but still, it was a stop-over - people who make this a destination for an acutal vacation must be a different type of traveller.
Dubai is covering every taste, it is good for family, shopping and mall. moreover, it provide more care for childrens playgrounds.
It is a good place for shopping especially for muslims. A good experience for sight seeing at some beautiful areas; desert etc.
There are a number of cultural sites like the heritage village where you can learn or understand a little bit about islam and the culture of the country. For asians like myself, i find it difficult to make do with the food choice and the huge portion of them. As for shopping at souqs, you can try to bargain. However most of them do hard-selling, so make sure you ask for the price range first before actually browsing through the stuffs. They are generally not good in customer service though.
dubai is fast paced and can be expensive compared to the neighbouring cities - abu dhabi, shaarjah or ajman.
visit for travellers should limit to the main attractions in the city. most people that goes to Dubai are those who are working in the other cities and need to break away from the routine life.
The city is so huge. A lot of places that we have to visit. I always took metro while stayed in Dubai and it's quite convenience.
City of entertainment from Culture, shopping, sightseeing, night entertainment to extreme sport. Indeed it's also city of luxuries lifestyle
Dubai is a very clean country with high rise buildings. Sight seeing is amazing with places like Dubai Mall Aquarium, Burjj Khalifa, Jumeira Beach and many more.
With the service of Hop Up Bus make it more convenient for small group of traveller.
Dubai is a business city almost everything is available with great transport system and mostly shopper’s paradise.
Good to travel to Dubai for shopping and also warm and sunny weather during the month of Nov to March.
..can enjoy the swimming and beach life.Safari, Tower Khalifa, Maria, Dubai Mall, Emirates Dubai Mall. and Dubai Meusum.
Dubai is excellent cities which have everything a traveler needs. It covers, entertainment, sigh seeing, shopping & lovely dining.
Very lovely city . however always very busy not but not that much traffic jam . the people are friendly.
good & safe please to for business, shopping & enjoy the natural life like lovely sandy beaches & desert especially in winter .
This is one of the best cities in the world. It's very, very safe for you and your kids, the people are friendly and there is a rule of law.
I like the the powers to be have control and the laws are enforced. You don't have to worry about major crime. If you do what they tell you to do, all will be good. The police in this country are still police and not puppets of crime bosses and the government. The government make laws, they stick to it and the police enforce them. This is a country that works. I love this place and will move here as soon as i can. I want to setup a business here. Very friendly to businesses.
There is a lot of promotional noise made about Dubai but after making multiple visit to the city I still really don't know why.
It has a fantastic airport and good taxi, the hotels are of a very good standard and typically Filipino and Indian staff are very good. One can find very good food, though typically quite expensive and the shopping in a few of the malls can be quite good but also quite expensive. However, the city is poorly planned and very spread out, its really quite time consuming to get from one place to the other and there is very little in the way of public parks or outdoor spaces. There is no apparent centre to the city, there is apparently no place the people really congregate and hence the city really seems to lack any soul.
Dubai is a city of multicultural business place. only business can work. people talk in terms of money and rate you accordingly.
Dubai city is built with different skill sets of people selectively chosen from all parts of the world keeping in mind only Business.
I found Dubai overrated, with insane traffic, high prices and dirty, hazy air that ruins all the scenery.
The high fee to go to the 124th floor observation deck of the Burj Khalifa is a waste of money. The haze means only the buildings within about two blocks are clearly visible. The Burj Arabia sail shaped hotel is barely visible through the haze and the Palm shaped islands are not visible at all. The same applies to the Modern Architecture tour to Abu Dhabi. A van with small windows meant one could mainly see street level and hazy views through the windshield. I don't recommend the area to any one.
Dubai is business city with amazing architecture and would be a great city to live weather is too hot
Simply marvelous, at least for a first time visitor. Never seen such an incredible city like this in my life!(I am 58 years old and I have traveled the world)!
Don't be silly enough to go in July it is too hot to do anything all we wanted to do was stay in the hotel.
We even left the water park early despite the fact we paid about $500 plus for our family to enter. 52 degrees celcious was just ridiculously hot couldn't enjoy anything
