"The staff was not friendly and does not greet anybody anywhere in the building, my partner went down to go get the breakfast go bag but was told to come back in 10 minutes. She left and came down again later but it was still not ready, saw other guest also asking and were told to come back later also. This was around 8 am and she didnt get the go bag till 45 minutes later which was just a apple and a bag of mini muffins. It took 45 minutes for the attendant to put a apple and a bag of mini muffins in a brown bag. Will never stay here again"

"I booked at this motel for two nights. It was not clean, cigarette burns on the carpet along with multiple stains or dirt. The ice machine was broken. The toilet was not clean. Breakfast was very disappointing with very few options compared to other places I have stayed. I tried to get out of the second night and was told I would have to pay for the room. I stayed at another motel instead deciding paying double was better than staying there again. They did not allow for cancellations, and now I understand why they have this policy. I have learned a lesson and will never again book a motel/hotel that has such a policy. "

"A short drive from downtown it was necessary to use our car to access restaurants and cafes. We stayed here because we had tickets for the steam train to Silverton. No lifts, we were on the second floor but the outside stairs were not steep and carting cases was not a problem. The swimming pool and spa were a joy to use on such a cold, rainy day. The breakfast was adequate only. We had to drive to the railway Station and use the car park which was $8.00"
