The ICC EL was a good place to reside in East London. It took quite a while finding the correct entrance to the Hotel however once located the security was helpful in directing me to the guests parking lot and reception. The parking lot was a little cramped up however it was good to see a basement parking lot. The hotel is quite massive and the walk from the Parkin...

I chose to puck Prana for our honeymoon as it just , well I hoped was exactly what we need after a few weeks of organizing a wedding . Wow ! “ A Piece of paradise is “ is putting lightly A Majestic setting , Serene sunny beaches , along with theee most delicious dishes sever by such an Amazing team . Absolutely friendly , well spoken and versed on “ THEIR” Lodge Upon...

I booked a King's room (honeymoon suite) online and a 50% deposit was debited from my account. When we arrived to check in, we were given a room that is in a very bad shape (even worse than the standard rooms I am used to at Kennaway Hotel). When we returned to the reception to raise a query, we were informed that all honeymoon suites were not available. A call was mad...

I travel at least once a week for work purposes and thus get to experience many guesthouses and hotels. I really enjoyed the stay at Arum. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and quite. Breakfast was amazing and actually served great coffee. I also appreciated the effort put on by staff such as Camryn. She is friendly, witty and profesional. Arum will be my go-to ac...

The place is situated in "the garden of Eden" - the view is indescribable beautiful and dramatic. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food was totally divine - I had dinner and breakfast!!!!!! Stunning inside and outside setting at the restaurant with lots of atmosphere

It was alright. The staff told us we had to share the bathroom and kitchen with someone else. Through Agoda booking, I only expect to share the kitchen but not the bathroom. Eventually, no one else use the bathroom except us. The place has been renovated. I can smell the new paint. The key for the door is a problem. We cannot lock the room door from inside. The dog fro...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Larkspur Place. The unit was spotlessly clean. They were very accommodating and allowed my husband to check in early on our day of arrival. I highly recommend this place to travelers - value for money you will not beat!

This was a wonderful budget overnight stay. I believe that the guesthouse has overrated itself as a four star venue. The family room was a bit cramped and very hot. To be considered a three star venue, airconditioning must be provided in every room. The TV controls in the two rooms was very tricky to operate and should be improved to warrant three star status. The...

Our first time and first day in Africa, and Buccs is where we land. What an amazing place. Rooms, Beach, Breakfast, Staff, Bar, Food, View - everything was simply exhilarating. What a gem on the wild coast, and what a place to start our South African Holiday.

The room was perfect, sea facing, nice size with a good fridge and tea station, a nice little balcony to enjoy the view and a nicely finished bathroom with a double shower. The cold breakfast was nicely layed out and the hot menu was well planned with a build a breakfast option.

arrived late afternoon on sunday. had dinner in restaurant, which was ok, but nothing exciting. room was quite large and comfortable. bar was frequented by several locals, who were a little loud, but not too bad. internet service was limited. overall not a bad hotel.

This really shouldn't be rated as a 4 star establishment. Received a cold reception with the incorrect bed, bathroom left much to be desired, and the restaurant was not open for the majority of my stay. No free WIFI. Positives were the wildlife and location.

My 22yrs Son & I stayed over for one night over a SA long weekend. Our Hosts were splendid and accommodating. The bedrooms & on suite bathrooms lovely. Facility is Easy to find Several BBQ (braai) facilities options Breakies was tasty. It was a good stay. Positives were the fast reliable Wi-Fi, the accommodating food menus and the friendly staff members. Much better than the average accommodation in these parts of East London. Minor negatives were that the cupboard lacked adequate hangers and the Wi-Fi password was not given to me on check-in. Had to request both of these. The gate was also closed a...

For our first time in East London this could not have been a better place to stay at. The staff were friendly and the rooms were quite spacious and enjoyable. We will definitely go back there as this is such a unique place to stay and just capture the quiet surroundings. Thanks

We Booked the Birdhouse as per photos and specs on Agoda .We thought the price was very good, but when we arrived we were directed to a small room in a next door unit, upon complaining we were told that the advert on Agoda was wrong and the price was for the smaller room at the back. The owner gave us the very nice room as per the photo on Agoda and we had a lovely st...

Was given a free upgrade to an apartment with balcony. Fully furnished with lots of extras e.g. baby bath and bucket. Collect keys from Rose and Ale whilst the apartment (Ganube Sands) is a few hundred metres away. Spacious apartment and perfect for overnight stay or relaxing holiday. Take your own toiletries though as there is only soap. Safe and secure parking. A gre...

We arrived late (9pm) due to an incorrect address/bad weather. The address lists the property as being in East London, which it isn’t. Our GPS led us to a similar address just north of East London as a result. We arrived only to be greeted by an irate property owner who did nothing but verbally abuse us and wave a booking confirmation at myself and my wife. He inform...

Traveler impressions of East London
We went there was on Easter. It was pretty quiet. The city centre has a lot of historical buildings but it doesn't look too neat.
Lovely little city. Its worth it to explore local places and restaurants. My hotels restaurant closes early so it was great to find new places to have drinks with friends.
A very underestimated city. If I had more time I would've liked to explore some of the sights and places the hotel recommended.
Went to East London to watch a boxing fight and enjoy time with my friends away from home. Had a great time with the boys
