If I had paid full price for this family room I would be annoyed, it was clean but very basic the bathroom decor all peeling off and looks grim. I accept this because I only paid 66.00 for the one night. Reception staff were friendly and informative. But breakfast staff were not welcoming, we came into the room for breakfast, we wasn't greeted with good morning or anyt...

My Mother had a lovely stay... She was very impressed with the service and the upgrade to a balcony view... I had booked her one night at the 5 star Grand because The View was fully booked on the Friday... She said she would choose The View Hotel every time she visits Eastbourne... High Praise indeed...

WHEN BOOKING BE REALISTIC ON PRICE VS QUALITY. FOR THE MONEY WE PAID IT WAS GOOD VALUE. WE ONLY STAYED A NIGHT BUT IT DID WHAT IT SAID ON THE CAN ! WE SLEPT WELL. WE HAD A HOT SHOWER. WE HAD A GREAT LOCATION. WE PAID A GOOD PRICE! ITS NOT FANCY ITS NOT MODERN IT IS WHAT IT IS A CHEAP HOTEL THAT DELIVERS THE IMPORTANT STUFF THAT'S IT!

Shoreview Hotel is I think has the best location in Eastbourne. There’s a pub behind the hotel, Tesco is a 2 minute walk with a cash machine, 5 minute walk from the pier and restaurants around the area. Our room was in the corner this time and the views are to die for. I’ll definitely go back there again.

Staff brilliant, very clean, touch of the old charm about this hotel, very good eye for detail, the chairs in the dining area were pulled slightly away and at an angle from the table which looked very inviting, food was lovely, nice area outside hotel to sit and look at the sea, some parking spaces at hotel need to book, parking outside in the street for pay and displa...

The room was comfortable even though on the small side.Check out was quick. There was no lounge to relax.Generally,it was good value for the money .

What a find, lovely hotel opposite the beach. Lovely and clean - our room light and wonderfully decorated - with sea view. Our room was opposite the beach I played on for many years as my grandparents had a guest house in St Aubyns Road, so lovely. We stayed one night at this hotel, great location on the waterfront near the pier. but did not feel like we got value for money. This is a very old hotel which they have tried to spruce up. The B&B is conveniently situated in a central location with the added bonus of parking spaces. Jon & Hayley were friendly and gave good advice on places to eat/visit. Our room was a King size room with balcony with seas views. The room was lovely as was the Full English Breakfast and we couldn't have asked for anything more during our stay.

This is a B&B style property with really welcoming and friendly hosts. We reached early and they were really kind in allowing us to leave the baggage in our room. Breakfast was good and even had a vegetarian option. The location is 2 minutes away from the sea. Parking is somewhat limited.
