"The person at the desk gave my wife and I a room that was very clean and to my exact request. It was not to be far from the elevator since we're botrh disabled and my wife has medical equipment that's hard to lug/carry onward even though one piece has small caster-wheels it's still difficult to push with steerage accomplishment. We didn't want to be on the first floor if he could place us in the type of room that we wanted so it would be more quiet. He put us on the second floor. We got accommodated in both a clean & quiet space that qualifies as my definition of a studio suite. Since we had to get on the road early, we lost four hrs. of use of this comfortable room. However, the price that I paid didn't make me feel that we lost anything by leaving early. ...great low price!"

"We originally made reservations at another hotel in Erie when we arrived there we were very disappointed. Immediately started looking for another hotel. I read great reviews for Red Roof Inn so we decided to go there even though we booked a non refundable stay somewhere else. So glad we did!!! This hotel was updated, laminate flooring I could actually take my shoes off and feel comfortable. Sparkling clean bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Great end to a no so great starts!"

"We stay at this hotel every time we come to visit Erie, PA. The breakfast is good, pool is nice, and the location is great. Was disappointed this trip with misleading sign out front stating lunch specials being served from 12-5 on Sunday. My husband and I checked into our room and headed to the restaurant and tried to order something to eat we were told lunch specials were over at 4. Just a little confused as the sign out front said 5 and it was just a few mins after 4..... didn’t want to argue with the waitress so we ended up going into town for a quick bite to eat. We use to always eat dinner at the hotel restaurant but a few years ago our favourite bartender left , so we have not dined there much since then."

"The hotel was overall good. The first female staff I encountered was very nice and helpful. The rooms were okay but that is what you pay for. They offered a full breakfast which was nice. The main issue I had was that the walls were very thin and you could hear your neighbors all the time, even when they were sleeping. The guy I had to check me out did not seem too friendly. Overall I thought it wasn’t a bad place to stay for just an overnight but not any longer than that."
