"This place is very old! The room smelled and the bathroom was rusty and had yellow marks on the wall that should have been cleaned off. The caulking around the bathroom door was filthy! I paid more for this than an Embassy Suites and it felt dirty to me. The location was perfect though for hiking in the national forest."

"The motel is well-located, and the staff seem efficient and friendly (very little interaction with any of them, however); my only complaint (and an important one) is that the beds are very uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore lower back both mornings, and it took me hours of movement to get the kinks worked out. Too bad, because otherwise it was (given this is Estes Park in the height of the summer), a 3.5 star experience"
