Best hotels & accommodations in Evora

Located about 20 min walk from train / 15 min walk from bus stations close to the center of town, this hostel has the makings of a good stay. The manager is friendly and helpful, the kitchen and communal areas large and comfortable. The downside to my stay - I was put in a room on the street side of the building so the noise from the traffic and drunk people walking ...

This is a perfect location for old Evora, but you must ask for a large room that is quiet. We booked through Agoda and requested a large room (my husband is 6'5" tall) and were shown to a very small room that was noisy and smelled very musty of mold. We were told that it was 'a better room' but further investigation of the hotel revealed that it was not truthful. I ...

I could not put my camera away the entire time I was here. Everywhere I turned in the hotel I took another picture. From the tiles, to the furniture to the beautiful flowers, this place was a picture book hotel of Portugal. The room was small, but very pretty and who spends a lot of time in your room when vacationing in Portugal? The breakfast buffet was prepared with ...

As in most hostel, reception looks like short term hired staff, gives good advices during check in. Location in old city, would not be easy to find without google map. Simple breakfast provided. Have a hunch that there is may be only 2 dorms as such it would not be overly crowded with travelers. Only 1 toilet cum bathroom equipped like home but didn't have much problem...

The spacious, bright rooms at the Dom Fernando Evora are situated around the central pool with a small patio through the French windows. Maybe fans of the privacy afforded by net curtains may not appreciate the choice of curtains either fully closed or fully open. The lobby was large and the bar service added to our early evening fun. The breakfast buffet was excellent...

Every hotel should be like this: gracious staff who respond to your every request, in a beautiful environment (both within the hotel itself and in the city of Evora). Drinks and snacks available 24/7, great insights and recommendations to help visitors get the most out of their visit, reasonable prices. Unusual recreational options: go on an archaeology dig, learn Por...

This was a memorable hotel! Although a bit hard to find initially, once found, it was a super welcoming stay! The host was super welcoming, giving a tour of the historic things he has collected over the years, advice about the city and even parking assistance (helpful in this area!) The stay felt more like a fun visit at an uncle's museum-like home than a sterile hotel...

GPS system from the car could not recognize this hotel address, had to exploit the clumsy approach, using the Google map from our mobile phone to fix the location. This hotel was about 5km away from the city center, in an almost isolated farm area, but we quite enjoyed the fresh and quiet environment. Interior of this hotel was a little bit dilapidated, we came acros...

Casa Do Vale was well placed on the way into Evora coming from Lisbon. The staff were helpful and efficient, the room clean spacious and comfortable, and the pool a boon after driving on a warm afternoon. Breakfast was disappointing mainly because a bus load of guest departing early ate and drank all the supplies and the staff could not replenish quickly enought to cat...

My husband and I with my parents had a wonderful stay at Noble House in Evora. We were treated so well, like nobility. The welcome was warm and friendly. The food was delicious. The Noble house location was excellent for walking around the charming town of Evora. We would definitely return and highly recommend to friends.

Not exactly as advertised, had to ask for soap, no shampoos or other toiletries as advertised. Staff invisible, but that seems par for the course in Hostel accom in Spain. Our room was so noisy we did not sleep the first night, ear plugs in and doona over the window helped the second night. I think it is noisy because of university induction month. Other than that the ...
