"If you haven’t visited Frisco, CO yet- what are you waiting for?! Such a beautiful, welcoming little town- set in a breathtaking location. The hotel, The Grand, just elevated my stay there. Greeted by friendly desk receptionist, it was a quick registration process. My room was located just around corner from elevator, across hall from ice & vending machines. (Also, in lobby there is a small retail “store” that carries a few essentials and array of microwaveable foods and other snacks). My room was already at a perfect temp but the thermostat worked well during the nite to keep room at pleasing temp. Rain shower w/very hot water is perfect after a long drive. The supplies: soaps & shampoo were LEMON VERBENA, clean, fresh scent! Bedding/bed was crisply clean and so comfy. Had a wonderful restful sleep, hated to get out of that bed! Wish I could have stayed longer. There’s an indoor pool & hot tub and a game room. Check out went fast and smooth. Definitely recommend. Hope to return. "

"It’s a great location. 5 mikes from Copper Mountain where we skiid. Close to affordable restaurants & bars. A ‘local’ vibe. It’s inexpensive & there’s a hot tub. We like to be near the nighife & local pubs. So much more fun to hang out with the local folks instead of snooty rich tourists at the overpriced resorts. If you’re looking for a bargain & real downhome people. This location & hotel is perfect. It’s your basic room. We forgot about the free breakfast, but it looked like cereal & fruit. The only downside is that the walls are thin. Bring earplugs or drink more wine & you should be fine. "

"We loved the hotel, but the heat in our room turned off midway through the night. When we first arrived at the hotel our room was hotter than a sauna. The manager explained that they were having problems with their system and that it was being fixed. I certainly did not expect no heat later that evening. I talked to other guests on the 2nd floor ( we were on the first floor) who had no issues with their room heat. The thermostat in our room did not work. I believe I should have been warned beforehand that our room was having issues instead of telling me upon arrival. I loved the bed and location. Definitely would stay again."
