General Santos City hotels & accommodations

this is a good hotel in general santos, city. in overall, the hotel in the good condition and clean. staff also friendly. the duration from the airport to the hotel by car is around 20-30 minutes. there are the shopping malls nearby the hotel just 5-10 minutes drive.

I had a long tiring trip from Cebu to General Santos via Davao by plane and by bus. By the time I made it to the hotel it was very late at night. All I needed was food and rest. I spotted the hotel was within walking distance to a McDonald's and that's where I ran for a quick dinner before dropping to bed. The hotel room was clean and quiet. I was able to have a g...

This is most likely the best hotel in GenSan. It is slightly more expensive than other hotels in General Santos, but it is extremely affordable for the quality and service that it offers. Room is of decent size. Only problem is that they do not seem to read the special requests submitted through agoda.com, but otherwise the staff are extremely attentive and friendly.

This is a relatively new hotel in General Santos City which I believe would give the more established ones excellent competition! It is a business hotel whose propositions of excellent service, and superb (standard or deluxe) room amenities are very much evident. The rooms offer a cozy and restful decor. The 'single' room offers so much space for one person. Locati...

Definitly one of the best resort experiences I've had. There is loud music on the beach on the weekends so don't come if you can't handle that. The restaurant is great. This is a party spot for locals so come to have a good time and byob to the beach.

3G Garden Hotel of General Santos city was cozy, clean and very hospitable. What really made my stay there worth it was the strong and stable internet connection they had. Making my work and online trades accessible with no hitch. However, the place lacks a wider variety of food selection, though their food is well prepared and tasty, the limited options make you want...

We stayed for a week, in this resort type Hotel, the rooms were big enough to accommodate four persons and comes with complimentary breakfast. They have 3 pools, 1 large wading pool, a kid's pool and a lap pool. The resort personnel were very accommodating and are always eager to assist us with our concerns. It is very accessible from the city center but at the same ti...

Away from the busy streets of General Santos City and a nice view while having breakfast at their cafe. The best thing was, they booked me for a metered taxi and I had my breakfast just before heading to the airport at 5:00AM when supposedly at 7:30AM.

PROS: - We got the best value for money. - Staffs were very nice. - Clean towel & bedsheets. - Working AC & HOT Shower for an evening bath. CONS: - They don't sell coffee. - They don't offer breakfast and thus we need to check out early for brunch with my family. - No public utility cars were available in the area but very close to MCDO, CHOWKING, JOLLIBEE, SM, GMALL ...

Our stay was almost great but seems like the staff in the hotel did not really pay attention to our instruction, it was a very important instruction because we dont want to miss our flight that day. Before we went to our room to rest we have clearly instructed the Front Desk that we need a taxi at 7AM bcause they have a Van but no driver and i don't know what happen be...

View is great. My kid loves it. Facilities great for an outdoor garden. Breeze is clean, though GenSan is generally hot in temperature. I just hope in the future it has a pool and a playground to complete it. Only problem is the receptionist, we scheduled transfers at 2pm but she changed it to 1pm and informed us 11:30am that morning. We found ourselves rushing our l...

If you will just be staying shortly in General Santos then this property suites you. Overall, better to stay properties nearby mall/city center. Pros: Near Bulaong Terminal (9 minutes), Free breakfast (but we didn't managed to avail as we need to leave early) and spacious room. Cons: - Seems staff aren't aware that we will arrive, so we need to wait for check-in. ...

For an overnight stay, we paid 2,900+ for a room with free breakfast. The room was clean, size was good and well furnished but I feel that the price was a bit high for what we got. The location however was great. It was near malls and there was adequate parking. There's a convenience store, a coffee shop, and a salon basically at your doorstep. The breakfast was not gr...

I booked for three days but extended one more day...very nice place...clean, quiet, relaxing....large room with king size bed that was comfortable, with good AC ...comes with small refrig, kitchen area with table and chairs, sitting chairs, and a little front porch area with a sitting bench...the bathroom was small but had plenty of hot water and pressure....the restau...

I had booked the standard matrimonial room (2 adults + 1 kid) for me and my wife, and her 2 teenaged kids. It was technically not possible to book one room for 4 persons via the website, but the reception staff added one more person for the regular extra fee, without any fuss. Shortly after occupying the room, we were confronted with a blocked shower drain, but hotel ...

We spent 7 days in all at Roadhaus Hotel. This was the third hotel we stayed at in General Santos City as a sick family member was in Doctors Hospital for 2 weeks. This hotel was a clearly better than the other larger hotels. It is a Manny Pacquiao owned business which gives it additional character. The price was better value than others in the area but the real winne...

The staff were really hospitable and accommodating from day one to check out date. They constantly would ask the things you need inside your room. Owner was there once in a while and is very helpful and hospitable. Property is still a work in progress but is clean.

The room was very neat and has a classy look. The air conditioner is excellent. I wish that the heater in the shower works. I wish that the internet connection wasn't that intermittent. The room wasn't totally sound proof. All the staff were very kind and helpful. I wish they have a cafeteria inside. The location was very nice and their current rate (dated Nov 2019) i...

I stayed here for a night when I went to General Santos for a friend's wedding. I got the cheapest room because I just needed a place to sleep. The room was as expected from the pictures. It's small but clean. Even the bathroom has been well-kept. They also provided basic toiletries. The aircon is working perfectly. The TV is old, but what do you expect from an economy...

recently stayed at this hotel while visiting my wifes family in Gen San, the hotel was very nice and very clean, good value for money and the reception staff where great and very helpful, just a pity we cannot say the same about the restaurant staff, they where very poorly trained and every meal time they made lots of mistakes constantly forgetting various items for ou...

i have comforts since the hotel is just near the SM gensan you may ride a tricycle then a few minutes you're in the mall. the hotel faces a natural beach where you can do relaxation. then if you may ride a tricycle you can have your city tour for just spending a few money. the life at general santos city is simple but it has a unique history. people over there are cool...

I truly enjoyed my stay at Driggs Pension House. Not only were the staff friendly and courteous, but very nice people too. The room was nice, with wi fi access and cable tv. Warm shower and airconditioning. I will be going back to the Philippines this time next year and have already decided i will stay at Driggs whenever i am in General Santos City.
Cheap places to stay in General Santos City

I stayed for 2nights here and booked through agoda.... i payed via credit card and i am satisfied because when i arrived they were already waiting for me. i only showed them my I.D. then gave me the key.. the place was quiet and the room was enough for a solo traveller like me. But i do suggest agoda to give other info to the properties about the guest like cp# because...

I just stayed on nyt. Was finding cheap room to sleep only. Was ok for me. But bit far from city or everything. Not for couples or families. And noisy outside then hard to sleep if u care. There r some Small shops to buy some food n drinks around this hotel. Stuff were friendly which I only liked in there

Our room was small but it was fine because we are just going to sleep there and it was cheap anyway. The only problem I had was there were 2 roaches in the bathroom so that freaked me out.It is in a residential area so I think that is were those critters came from.

These are actually tiny apartments versus an actual motel. Thus, there's no food or other such things available. It did have decent WiFi. It was very clean and comfortable The staff was very friendly and helpful. Of course, it was also very budget friendly, but there are numerous inexpensive motels in General Santos.

I and my partner have stayed here twice already and we loved it!..the place was accessible to all things that you should need and it was really quiet..we love staying here..all the facilities were great..rest assured that everytime we're staying in Gensan that here is where i will book again..

the hotel is pretty basic. if you are just looking for a place to sleep near the main establishments or malls in gensan then this is the place for you. the only thing I didn't like was that there was no cabinet or hangers inside my room. I just don't know if that's the case for all the rooms. they also don't refill or replace your toiletries unless you request for it...

Great place to visit gets very hot always very busy in the city great to sit down chill out and people watch great food lots of sea food which is very yummy, people are great and fun to be with
General Santos is a very nice place. People are very friendly. 2 days is enough to stay in General Santos City just to roam around and enjoy the city.
Although GenSan is a city, it is a bit laid back. When one wants to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, GenSan is a nice choice.
from the Dole pineapple plantations, to the snorkeling on coral reefs in Sarangani Bay, to Lake Sebu, there is soo much to see and do here.
Don't come if you are from the U.S. EVERYONE ASSUMES YOU ARE RICH, and you feel more like a target than a guest
Its a good & quiet city. If youre a nature lover, this is your place. Lots of water activities & sightseeing / sports activity.
Initially I was in two minds about visiting this region, but was glad we decided too. It is worth visiting the various resorts in Sarangani, even if just for an hour or so.
Gensan per se is not so amazing, but is teh hub ingoing to Sarangani & Lake Sebu. These areas teem with a lot of sight seeings!
Try to visit their new mall, the Veranza mall where most of the high end stores are located. It is the Greenbelt counterpart of General Santos
The city is good for shopping but lacks cultural places of interest and other things to do. We went in May but later in the year the tuna festival is supposed to be good.
A surprisingly easy place to visit. Good airport only a 20 minute ride from town, beautiful beaches east of town and plenty of accommodations for any visitor.
the Tuna Capital of the Philippines. great place for tuna delicacy lovers. with certified quality for processed tuna delicacies for export.
