"We picked this hotel because it has a spa, and we had planned a relaxing couple's weekend. Little did we know that the spa needs to be booked in advanced as it is not exclusively for hotel guests, we rocked up sfter breakfast expecting to be able to use it but it turned out to be fully booked. I would not have minded it too much, if it wasn't that I asked for the opening times at the main reception the night before and there was no mention of the requirement to book in advanced. Breakfast was overpriced and the quality of the sausages and bacon was poor. My local greasy spoon serves a full english for around £5 and their product is superior in every way. The pastries were nice though. If all you want is a continental brekky, I suppose it would suffice, but presonaly I wish we had taken a walk to any nearby café instead... if only we had known that we could not go to the spa right after having breakfast. The room was clean, heating/air conditioning worked as it should and we had a sea view. The beds (twin beds) were confortable and the first night we slept very well. The second night there was a wedding celebration at the hotel restaurant and I was woken up by screaming drunks a couple of times. The staff treated us very well and were very helpful and pleasant to talk to, ceratinly an assets to the hotel."
