The Star Grand at The Star Gold Coast
Broadbeach,Gold Coast - View on map
"The rooms at Jupiters Casino are as I would expect from a 5-star casino, so I won't comment much on that. Staff were helpful when asked questions. Most of the property is undergoing renovations at the moment because the casino has been there for a while and is due for an upgrade, so if you are staying just be prepared that there may be some noise in certain areas and not all restaurants or areas will be open. Having said that I really enjoyed my stay, the outdoor heated pool and surrounding area was beautiful. The casino floor pretty much looks like any other casino and if you are a gambler you'll find all the usual games available. The location of the casino and hotel is great... or maybe I should say... it will be great when jupiters and the rest of the gold coast has finished renovations. Currently the casino is located on its own little island. This isn't so much of a problem because you can take the mono rail over to broadbeach... if it wasn't for the fact that the monorail is also undergoing renovations. The casino is however a very short walk (just across the road in fact) from the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Great for shopping and going to the cinemas and outdoor dining.... except that Pacific fair at the moment is udnergoing a massive renovation which includes the cinemas. Once renovations are done all over the gold coast and in the casino I have no doubt that this will be an excellent place to visit again."

Rhapsody Resort
Surfers Paradise,Gold Coast - View on map
"This is one of the best accommodations I had in Gold Coast so far. Been to GC so many times, Rhapsody is one that I will definitely would stay again. Very friendly and helpful staff. The 2 bedrooms apartment i stayed has 180 degree Ocean view, very clean and tidy; air conditioning is a 2 split system which is a good point that when travelling with parent or other family, as can adjust the temperature as you are most comfortable with. It's location is around 10-15mins walk from Sufer Paradise, although it may not as convenient as if you stay in Sufers Paradise but is nice and quiet so you can have a good sleep. You can also enjoy the roof top garden for a BBQ night with unbeatable night views of Gold Coast!!! Price also reasonable!!! Highly recommended!!!"

Sea World Resort

"We live local and was looking for a mini break. We got the best deal with Seaworld Resort. Beautiful location, great pools and grounds, exceptional food (and not over priced) plus rooms fresh and modern. I know this sounds like an ad out of a Virgin magazine but we where all super impressed."

More about Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is a popular destination, not only for foreign tourists, but for Australians as well. The 20-mile stretch of sand offers high fashion, pleasurable activities and attractions, and more than 30 great beaches.

Surfers Paradise is certainly one of the city’s greatest draws. It’s pretty much easy living here with budget accommodation hosting visitors for lazy days on the beach and wild nights on the dance floor. Student, surfers, and backpackers are the ones ideally catered to by this area.

A classier option to Surfer’s Paradise would be Broadbeach. This area offers a more mature night scene with restaurants, bars, and casinos offering a more mass appeal. A step up from here would be Burleigh Heads. This area boasts one of the most popular beaches on the Gold Coast as well as luxury resorts and entertainment facilities.

The family-friendly side to the city can be found amongst the several theme parks. Sea World graces the city center, and Warner Bros Movie World, Dream World, and Australian Outback Spectacular are more favorites visitors can enjoy.

Visitors to the region will be welcomed via Gold Coast Airport. A Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle can help get new arrivals to their hotel, and public transport options are excellent in central districts.
