"We were at this hotel 1.9.18-5.9.1.8 for a family wedding with elderly grandparents, middle aged couples, 18-26 years olds and approx. 15 children under the age of 10. The hotel surroundings were peaceful and beautiful it felt like we were at a peaceful retreat but with wonderful service and food! The pool was a little on the chilly side, I am sure it would be refreshing on really hot days. The pool bar had a menu of minimal choices but still suited all age groups. This hotel is absolutely stunning inside and has fantastic terrace views at various points around the hotel. The garden room that we had (73) was ground floor opening out on to the gardens via French windows was so peaceful and had everything we required - although it seems European countries don't always provided an in room tea coffee facility. Large room, very comfy bed, excellent daily maid service lovely en-suite. Even the mini bar wasn't over priced! Only one complaint - Mosquito's but that's Italy I guess. "

"Words can not express how much my wife and I enjoyed our time with Maurizio at his beautiful Villa, Tenuta Cusmano. This place is absolutely incredible. Million dollar views, a gorgeous pool and gardens, and rooms straight out of a story book. The patio that came with our room was huge, with view overlooking the entire villa as well as many of the towns in I Castelli Romani. You could even see the Pope's summer residence from our patio! My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights prior to a cruise out of Civitavecchia. We both wished we came 4 nights earlier so we could spend an entire week here to truly enjoy all of the amenities of the property, as well as peacefully explore the surrounding villages and towns. Getting to Rome from here is also very easy. A simple 10 minute car ride will bring you to the metro station, and 30 minutes later, you're right in front of the Coliseum. Lastly, a few comments about Maurizio, the owner and host of this beautiful villa. Words can not express how welcoming, hospitable, helpful, and caring he truly is. He is an outstanding human being, who truly goes out of his way every single day to make your stay as enjoyable as humanly possible. Whether it's the wonderful breakfasts he prepares for you every morning, or the recommendations and detailed maps he creates for you based on previous conversations you had with him, he truly is the cherry on top for Tenuta Cusmano. This place is outstanding, and we will definitely be back. Thank you Maurizio!"

"We stayed here on our first day in Italy, driving directly from the airport and arriving around 2pm. This was a much better decision than going directly into Rome and fighting with the traffic. We were able to park in front of the hotel (no charge), to check in immediately on arrival, and to catch a late lunch in the excellent attached restaurant. The hotel's rooms are well-furnished and clean. The bathroom with it's mosaic tiles and large circular bath was fantastic. Service was excellent, very friendly and professional. Our only complaint with the hotel was no wi-fi, weak cellular connection, and expensive broadband. The hotel's restaurant has a lot of character and very good local cuisine. They had a large antipasto buffet and mixed pasta platter at lunch enabling us to try a number of their specialties. Breakfast was the normal cakes, cold cuts, and coffee but the quality was better than most of the other stops on our two week trip. All-in-all, a relaxing alternative to staying in Rome itself, at least for a couple of days."
