"This hotel has a great bath with wonderful harbor and costal views. It is so relaxing and comfortable to soak in the hot spring. The staffs are considerate and attentive. Both their breakfast and dinner are delicious. Even it is slightly far away from Hagi downtown, they provide shuttle services to/from Higashi-Hagi Station, and there is a daily bus to/from Shinkansen Shin-Yamaguchi station door to door literally. Taxi rides from the hotel to most of the places in Hagi costs about US$15-20. "

"We loved this beautiful ryokan. The staff were so charming - English is extremely limited, but they worked hard to make us feel welcome. The welcoming tea, the fabulous meals, the spacious rooms, the old world charm all made this a special stay for us. Tomoe has bicycles to rent on site - Hagi is a wonderful town to tour by bike. No wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby, but that is a good thing! "
