Best hotels & accommodations in Hallstatt

Once we found the hotel, you have to park in the P1 parking as you can’t park at the hotel, we loved everything about our stay. Check in staff so friendly and helpful, room overlooking the lake beautifully appointed, restaurant staff and food excellent, staff very attentive, well informed and courteous, - nothing disappointed. Breakfast was amazing as they catered to...

This is probably the best accommodation you could ever find in Hallstatt. Couldn't believe the views that we got and the private garden we had, right in front of the lake. The house is huge and perfect for 5. It's great that it's not right in the centre of town where it's too noisy, but just a short walk away where it's quiet enough, and perfect if you drive. Our 3 nig...

I booked this room 2 weeks before my trip. However not much rooms to choose in Hallstatt. Although it is too pricy but I still choose it because of location. The hotel is just right in the middle of Hallstatt. 10 mins walk from Hallstatt Lahn bus station or Hallstatt Market ferry pier, which is excellent. The room is very spacous. A small bed right next to the window f...

Traveler impressions of Hallstatt
It is peaceful city with a nice view. Salt mine is good spot for sight seeing. However, you should spend only two day/ one night because it is small and not much to see.
One of the most picturesque places in Europe, this town has history, architectural variety, cultural interest and activity all within a small area.
Hallstatt is heaven so Beautyful and wonderful town very clean and fresh natural Austria kulture is amazing mountain sea river and is the world heritage from Unesco .
We went there in November. It is a bit cold. But the mountains looks so good with some leaves turned red, some stay green and yellow.

More about Hallstatt
When in Hallstatt, sitting in a chair with your favorite view may be all that is needed. But if you get the itch to move, there is still plenty to see and do. A boat tour of the lake or hike along the many trails are great leisure options and lead to more exciting sites. Werfen Ice Caves is one such site and features ice waterfalls, lakes, and ponds. A lakeside playground provides a family-friendly destination as well as the best town views without going out on a boat, and Hallstatt Salt World explores the oldest salt mine in the world with tunnels dug out over 3,000 years ago. Within this UNESCO World Heritage region is an abundance of charming beauty and fascinating history.
