"I had a real Japanese Tatami room, with low tables and Japanese chairs to sit low, close to the Tatami surface. Hotel ist very quiet. The staff polite, helpful and welcoming. The nearby village consists of Japanese houses with typical black roof tiles. Very suggestive roof landscape. In vicinity is the town Hamada and, e few kilometres away by local train or road an Aquarium to go and see. Belugas are performing. "

"With their limited English, the staffs really very helpful and make us feel at home. One of the staff using the translation software to communicate with us. When we reached, we asked them to recommend us for a nice place for lunch.. They help us to make the reservation and one of the staff walked us to the restaurant itself!! I am very impress with their service!! They gave us a booklet in English on where and how to go around Hamada and the surrounding. Another good thing, they upgraded our room to a much bigger room. The hotel and room is nice and clean and they have the onsen :). I will definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Hamada. "

"This modern hotel was a delightful find. It is still very new. The wooden deco gives a great sense of relaxation. Staff were helpful and friendly. Special note to, I believe his name was Yuki. He is from Masuda but lived in Vancouver for years. Extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was lovely and bed was extremely comfortable. Very nice modern styled onsen. Special mention to the restaurant. Food was exquisite. Did not expect this at all. So much choice, quite difficult to decide. Fantastic mix of ingredients. Well worth visit even if you are not staying at the hotel. From here it was an easy walk to the station for a day trip to the fabulous town of Tsuwano."
