I think a week in Hua Hin would be enough for most people. It's a great place, but same, same after a while!!!
Different from PATAYA but populated residential European. Still developing new PLAZA but giant mall like Central, MALL.
Markets are worth a visit but not so good to get excited about. Worth leaving room in your suitcase but the traffic can be overwhelming at times.
Cha-am is mainly visited by retired people who like to spend cold European winter to a better place. You can find many hotels for 30 USD/night and it’s calm.
Cha-am is close to Bangkok (2hrs) and to Hua Hin (20 min). it’s a great compromise Hua-Hin is the city of the king. Clean with great ambiance. A large choice of great restaurants with Hotel for all budgets. Night activities, much better than Pattaya for families.

As a beach that located not from from center of Thailand, Hua Hin became one of the most famous beach for local Thai people.
Plenty of hotels and restaurants allow you to experience variety of food and accommodation.
Travelled to HuaHin via Train 36 from Malaysia. It was a good experience, sunrise was a beauty as the train would travel pass huahin's coastal line.
Even the train station itself is an attraction. People are relatively friendly, not a shopping heaven but it would be a great place to meet new people and visits to their mini santorini.
You can go to the nearby markets and attractions by foot. Only Cicada and Santorini Parks and the Outlets need to go by transportation
The air is cool at Hua Hin even under the Sun. It's a good travel attraction as you can visit several farms for photo shooting and sightseeing (Santorini, Sheep Farm, Grape Farm etc).
Elders and kids are suitable for all these attractions at Hua Hin.
Hua Hin is a nice city, 3 hours from Bangkok. The size of the city makes it friendly with nice atmosphere.
Much better than Pattaya or Phuket, Hua Hin is as a vacation location should be.
The weather is very hot. its advisable to bring umbrella, wear jacket, cap, sun-glasses and put on your sun-block lotion.
Swiss sheep farm is nice. Very disappointed with Santorini Park ,nothing much to see, not worth the 150 Bahts (entrance fees) You are only able to see some of the historical parts of The Marigayavan Palace , disappointed and don't expect too much to see from there. Don't take a bicycle ride as you are only allow to cycle a short distance after the entrance only. Lots of seafood awaiting you, price is affordable . You can shop in Market Village , many branded outlets here. Only go to Vineyard during the grapes season, if not you can't find a single grape there!
Hua Hin/Cha-am has so many attractive places around which is quite close to each other, you can visit all the places within 1-2 days.
Several activities available i.e ATV, paintball, kart, themeparks etc. Good for families with children.
It is a pleasant city and you can engage yourself with outdoor activities or visiting theme parks. Food is relatively cheap at the night market.
Getting around is a bit cumbersome and you need to hire your own driver.
It is a simple and nice place to relax and for family fun. Look for nice facilities hotel so that can enjoy the peace & chilled environment.
The people here are friendly.
IT'S A SMALL TOWN WITH FRINDLY PEOPLE. EVEN THOUGH THEIR ENGLISH NOT SO GOOD BUT THEY PUTTING EFFORT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU.
NICE FOOD, NICE PEOPLE & NICE PLACE.
Cicada Market is a must to visit! Plenty of yummy food and many to shop! I can spend the whole night here and i will definitely visit here again!
Hua Hun is another city of Thailand, here totally different with Bangkok. As here dont have busy life, you can walk slowly at here.
you will feel peaceful and comfortable at here.
You must go to night market in Hua Hin city. There are many good restaurants for sea foods at night market.
Hua Hin still a new place for tourist, so people there still not spell well English as bangkok. just use a simple english word, they will try to understand.
By the other way, because this is new place for tourist, so the seafood at nigh market still consider reasonable even cheaper than bangkok or pattaya
Hua Hin is a really nice city for family, couple or friends trip. Beautiful and quiet beach. Have many activities to do, outdoor, nature, cultural and history.
A must visit city
is a good place to buy some souvenir . can try a lot of local food at here..a good place for relaxing
Hua Hin is a very nice ans tranquil attraction where offer all kinds of activities all day long. Not recommend for long stay but 1-3 days will be good enough to move.
many young people like to go to Baan Glaiwang Bakery and there are many other nice bakeries near cicada market
A Great place for short and/or long stay. You can enjoy varieties of international food around Huahin area, and of course, amazingly fresh seafood.
Huahin is also a good place for water activities. For myself, I enjoy playing golf which there are a lot of golf courses in Huahin. The best is Black Mountain. Huahin is also a good place for children which you children can have fun with water park.
Hua hin is a small town, but the tourist place is located at Cha-am, if you stay in hua hin town will take about 30 minute for taxi ride to Santorini, Sheep sheep farm and Venice Park.
Well equipped with facilities, department stores, hotels, resorts, convenience stores, restaurants, Hua Hin / Cha-am is ready and safe for everyone for various leisure.
One of Thailand's great destinations that has sun, history and 'far from the tourist crowds. I love the destination
There are so many tourist attraction here. If you go with younger children, you can go to venezia huahin and the beach.
if you like nature, you can visit palau waterfall.
RELAXING AREA POPULAR WITH LOCALS AS WELL AS TOURISTS... BEEN TWICE AND WILL GO BACK WHEN I NEED TO RELAX.
